Petronas Dagangan Berhad Incorporates PDB (Netherlands) B.V.; To Acquire Companies In The Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand And Malaysia

Petronas Dagangan Berhad announced the incorporation of its subsidiary, PDB (Netherlands) B.V. (PDBN) on May 30, 2012. The Company and PDBN have on June 1, 2012, entered into six conditional sale and purchase agreements for the proposed acquisition of PETRONAS Energy Philippines, Inc. and Duta, Inc. in the Philippines, PETRONAS International Marketing (Thailand) Co. Ltd. in Thailand, PETRONAS Aviation Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia and PETRONAS (Vietnam) Co. Ltd. and Thang Long LPG Co. Ltd. in Vietnam. The total cash consideration for the proposed acquisition is approximately MYR 197.3 million.
