Bakcell Selects Performance Technologies, Inc.'s Number Portability Solution For Azerbaijan Mobile Network

Performance Technologies, Inc. announced that Bakcell chose its SEGway Number Portability Solution for their network in Baku, Azerbaijan. The upgrade was required to comply with the country's Ministry of Communications' mandate for service providers to make mobile number portability available to subscribers this year. The Number Portability solution was swiftly and economically deployed on Performance Technologies, Inc.'s robust SEGway Signaling platform, a modular and scalable system that is already an integral element of Bakcell's mobile infrastructure.
