Quanta Services Inc Updates Q4 2012 EPS Guidance-Conference Call

Quanta Services Inc announced that for the fourth quarter of 2012, expects adjusted diluted earnings per share (a non-GAAP measure) to be $0.40 to $0.42. This non-GAAP measure is estimated before the impact of the after-tax loss from the transaction, as well as certain other non-cash items such as amortization of intangible assets and non-cash compensation expense, net of tax, on a basis similar to the adjusted diluted earnings per share. Considering the impact of the transaction, Quanta expects GAAP diluted earnings per share to be $0.27 to $0.34. According to I/B/E/S Estimates, analysts on an average were expecting the Company to report EPS of $0.36 for fourth quarter of 2012.
