Royal Dutch Shell PLC:Says Green groups urged the U.S. Department of Interior to revoke the agency's conditional approval of Royal Dutch Shell's 2015 Arctic oil exploration plan, saying it runs counter to established protections for walruses.Shell spokesman Curtis Smith said the company continues to consult with regulators on the matter.Says Shell has already spent $7 billion exploring the Arctic for reserves off Alaska, but oil production is not expected to begin for 10 to 15 years.Says the company is hoping to return to the Arctic in July for the first time since its mishap-plagued 2012 drilling season.Says its plan has become the target of a major campaign by environmentalists opposed to oil and gas exploration in the Arctic.Says the Interior Department said the Fish and Wildlife Service is reviewing Shell's program to "ensure compliance with all applicable laws.  Full Article

Royal Dutch Shell PLC:During St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Gazprom OAO, E.ON SE, Royal Dutch Shell PLC and OMV AG, signed Memorandums of Understanding on cooperation in the project of construction of the gas transportation infrastructure for direct deliveries of Russian natural gas to European customers.The Memorandums reflect the parties' intentions to implement the project of construction of two gas pipelines through the Baltic Sea from Russia to Germany.The throughput capacity of the new gas pipeline will be 55 billion cubic meters per year.  Full Article

Royal Dutch Shell PLC and BG Group:Have reached agreement on the terms of a recommended cash and share offer to be made by Shell for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of BG.Under the terms of the Combination, BG Shareholders will be entitled to receive for each BG Share: 383 pence in cash and 0.4454 Shell B Shares1.Says a value of about 47.0 bln Pounds for BG's entire issued and to be issued share capital.Combination will result in BG Shareholders owning about 19 pct of the Combined Group.Shell expects to commence a share buyback programme in 2017 of at least $25 bln for the period 2017 to 2020.Shell expects this programme to offset the shares issued under the Shell scrip dividend programme and to significantly reduce the equity issued in connection with the Combination.  Full Article

Royal Dutch Shell PLC:Says face-to-face negotiations on Feb. 20 with the United Steelworkers union (USW) failed to yield an agreement to end the 20-day-old U.S. refinery strike - Reuters.Workers at several refineries and chemical plants were waiting for instructions to join the more than 5,000 workers at 11 plants, including nine refineries accounting for 13 pct of U.S. production capacity.Rumors about a tentative deal between the USW and Shell Oil, which is the U.S. arm of Royal Dutch Shell Plc, were being swapped through text messages, emails and phone calls among oil industry insiders throughout the night.Union negotiators rejected the seventh contract offer from Shell on Feb. 19.  Full Article
