NK Rosneft' OAO Starts Producing Castrol Marine Lubricants-Interfax
Interfax reported that NK Rosneft' OAO's Novokuibyshevsk Oils and Additives Plant has begun producing marine lubricants under the Castrol brand, the Company said in a press release. The first batch of Cyltech lubricant has already been shipped by rail to Russian customers. The Novokuibyshevsk Plant is producing the new type of marine lubricants under a cooperation agreement signed in January of 2013 with Baltic Petroleum, a subsidiary of BP. Full Article

AK Transneft' OAO Announces Tender on Sale of Stake in KHL Hockey League; Receives Bid from NK Rosneft' OAO-Interfax
Interfax reported that AK Transneft' OAO (Transneft) has announced a tender on sale of its 11.8% stake in the charter capital of Kontinental Hockey League LLC (KHL). The stake is being offered in an open tender at a starting price of RUB 100 million. Transneft plans to unseal the bids on May 31. State-owned Transneft had earlier received a directive to sell its stake in the KHL. Transneft President Mr. Nikolai Tokarev said the company had received bids from the league's Prague franchise Lev, from NK Rosneft' OAO and from the KHL itself. Full Article
NK Rosneft' OAO Offers To Buy 21% of Italy's Saras SpA For EUR273.5 Million-DJ
Dow Jones reported that NK Rosneft' OAO offered to buy a combined 21% stake in refinery Saras SpA for a total EUR273.5 million ($358.3 million). Rosneft offered to buy 7.3% of Saras at a price of EUR1.37 a share for a total of EUR94.96 million. The statement also said that Saras' controlling shareholders--the Moratti family, agreed to sell a 13.7% stake in the Sardinia-based refinery for EUR178.5 million. Full Article
NK Rosneft' OAO And Armenia's Oil Techno Sign Agreement on Oil Products Venture-Interfax
Interfax reported that NK Rosneft' OAO (Rosneft) and Armenia's Oil Techno have signed an agreement in Yerevan on April 4, 2013, to form an oil products supply and marketing joint venture, the Armenian government's press service said. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with Rosneft President Igor Sechin on April 3. Sechin and Oil Techno CEO Arthur Alaverdian signed the agreement on the joint venture in the course of this meeting. Sargsyan said Armenia is interested in such cooperation. Full Article

Interfax reported that NK Rosneft' OAO and Russkie mashiny signed a memorandum of cooperation in the production and sale of motor fuel, the Company said. The Company will explore the possibility of placing on its filling stations gas filling modules and how to connect them to the pipelines and gas supply. NK Rosneft' OAO Signs Petroleum Coke Supply Agreement with UK Rusal-Interfax
Interfax reported that Russian aluminum company UK Rusal and NK Rosneft' OAO have signed an agreement to cooperate in the supply of petroleum coke and other products to UK Rusal's production facilities, as well as to develop NK Rosneft' OAO's capacities to produce petroleum coke with UK Rusal participation, the aluminum company said in a press release. The agreement establishes the intention of the parties to sign a number of long-term contracts for the supply of all the petroleum coke produced by NK Rosneft' OAO to UK Rusal over the next three-five years. NK Rosneft' OAO is already a partner of UK Rusal and supplies petroleum coke to certain aluminum smelters of UK Rusal. NK Rosneft' OAO to Buy Refueling Businesses from Bazovyi Element-Interfax
Interfax reported that NK Rosneft' OAO has agreed on the basic terms to acquiring aviation refueling businesses from Bazovyi Element (Basic Element) at the Krasnodar, Sochi, Anapa, Gelendzhik and Abakan airports operated by Basel Aero Supply and Handling (BASH), the Russian state-owned company said in a press release.
