Sanofi SA Fined USD 52.6 Million by French Competition Authority

Washington Business Information reported that Sanofi SA was fined USD 52.6 million by the French competition authority on May 14, 2013 for marketing practices that discouraged sales of generic versions of the Company's blood thinner Plavix. The decision followed a complaint filed by the company Teva Sante.
