Schneider Electric SA announced that it now targets for fiscal year 2013 stable to limited organic revenue growth and a stable to slightly up adjusted EBITA margin on constant FX and scope basis. In fiscal year 2012 the Company reported revenue of EUR 23.946 billion. Schneider Electric SA Recalls Surge Protectors In U.S.-Reuters

Reuters reported that Schneider Electric SA's Schneider Electric IT Corp is recalling 15 million APC-branded surge protectors sold in the United States after 13 reports of injuries and at least $1.7 million in fire damage, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said on Thursday. The company has received 700 reports of the devices overheating and melting and 55 claims of property damage from smoke and fire.  Full Article

Schneider Electric SA Launches Capital Increase as Part of Takeover Bid for Invensys PLC-L'Agefi Quotidien

L'Agefi Quotidien reported that the French Financial Market Regulator (AMF) has authorized a capital increase by Schneider Electric SA which will be used to partially finance the acquisition of Invensys PLC. The shares will form part of the payment offered for Invensys PLC's common shares. Reuters reported that Schneider Electric SA opened books on a EUR 600 million eight-year bond to partially refinance its acquisition of UK engineer Invensys, worth GPB 3.4 billion. The Company set the initial price thought at mid-swaps plus 70-75bp for pricing later in via BNP Paribas, HSBC, Natixis and Societe Generale. Schneider may cut over 130 jobs in French substation production

PARIS, Nov 28 - Electrical equipment maker Schneider Electric could cut over 130 jobs in France as it restructures its production of prefabricated power substations and shrinks the segment's staff by a third, a company spokesman told Reuters.
