Gazprom neft' OAO begins commercial production and oil deliveries from Badra field in Iraq

Gazprom neft' OAO:Announces that first oil from the field is now being delivered to Iraq’s main pipeline system for transfer to the export terminal in Basra (Persian Gulf).Current deliveries from Badra to the pipeline stand at over 15,000 barrels of oil per day and this level should be maintained until the end of 2014.According to the service contract with the Government of Iraq, the consortium of investor companies will begin receiving a share of the oil produced at the field after a period of 90 days following launch of commercial supply.All of the oil produced in southern Iraq, including at Badra, is Basrah Light oil.The Iraqi State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO) is responsible for oil sales and each quarter will be delivering a share of oil to the investor companies to reimburse their initial project costs.Once these project costs have been covered, the investor companies will receive remuneration in kind for ongoing development at the rate of $5.5 of oil per barrel produced.Each investor company will be selling their share of oil independently.  Full Article

Gazprom neft' OAO:The board of directors of Gazprom Neft approved at a meeting on Aug. 12 management's suggestion of paying out interim dividends of 4.62 Russian rubles per ordinary share for the first half of 2014, the company said in a statement-Interfax.Gazprom Neft said that its shareholders would consider paying interim dividends at an extraordinary shareholders meeting on Sep. 30.The register for dividends closes Oct. 17.Dividend payments are to be made no later than Oct. 31 for professional market participants and no later than Nov. 25 for other shareholders on the register.  Full Article

Gazprom neft' OAO:Gazprom Neft purchased the stake in Northgas held by Gazprombank OAO effective on July 1, the date when new rules on the natural resource extraction tax (NRET) for gas took effect, enabling Gazprom Neft to pay the rate that applies to an "independent gas producer"-Interfax.Northgas is developing the Severo-Urengoiskoye field in Yamalo-Nenets autonomous district.Gazprom Neft acquired an 18.237 percent stake in Gazprom Resource Northgas LLC, the owner of a 50 percent stake in Northgas, via a number of number of companies under the company's direct or indirect control.Gazprom owns the rest of the Gazprom Resource Northgas stake.Under the new formula for calculating the NRET for gas, Gazprom subsidiary Gazprom Neft will pay a lower rate thanks to its status as an independent gas producer.  Full Article

Gazprom neft' OAO:Gazprom Neft will supply Moscow with bitumen materials specially designed for high volume roads under an agreement signed by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Gazprom Neft CEO Alexander Dyukov-Interfax.Gazprom Neft will also supply materials for experimental road segments to test new types of bitumen.The company and Moscow also plan to draft and introduce standards regulating the use of materials in road construction.The agreement is for five years and may be extended.  Full Article

Gazprom OAO:Moody's Investors Service has confirmed the Baa1 ratings of the Government-related Issuers (GRI) Gazprom OAO (Gazprom) and NK Rosneft' OAO (Rosneft), and the Baa1 ratings of their respective guaranteed debt-issuing subsidiaries.Concurrently, Moody's has confirmed the Baa2 ratings of Gazprom neft' OAO, a subsidiary of Gazprom, and the Baa1 ratings of Rosneft International Holdings Limited (RIHL), a subsidiary of Rosneft, and the respective ratings of their guaranteed debt-issuing subsidiaries.The outlook on all ratings is negative.Gazprom's Prime-2 short-term rating remains unchanged.These rating actions follow Moody's confirmation of Russia's Baa1 government bond rating and assignment of a negative outlook on June 27.The confirmation of Gazprom's and Rosneft's senior unsecured issuer ratings reflects Moody's view that the companies' ratings are closely aligned with that of the sovereign, and that they remain sensitive to changes in sovereign creditworthiness.The confirmation of Gazprom Neft's Baa2 and RIHL's Baa1 senior unsecured issuer ratings reflects these companies' close operating and financial linkage with their respective parents' ratings.  Full Article

Gazprom neft' OAO:OJSC Gazprom Neft-Noyabrskneftgaz, a subsidiary of Gazprom neft' OAO, won an auction for the right to prospect, explore and develop hydrocarbons at the Otdelny licensed section in the Khanty-Mansiisk autonomous district, an Interfax correspondent reported from the auction-Interfax.The company bid 767.788 million Russian rubles for the license, from a starting price of 451.64 million rubles.Other bidders included Rosneft, LLC Gazprom Neft-Khantos and LLC Lukoil-West Siberia, which strongly competed with the winning company.The Otdelny section is located in the Surgut municipal district of Khanty-Mansiisk.The section's reserves and resources of oil of the C1 category amount to 2.916 million tonnes, C2 - 1.932 million tonnes, D1 - 8.3 million tonnes and D2 - 0.4 million tonnes.At the section 11 exploration wells have been drilled.According to the license's conditions, which are valid for 25 years, the mineral developer must present a re-estimation of the section's hydrocarbon reserves within 6 years of receiving the license, as well as draft and confirm document on the first stage of development for the field.No later than two years after the confirmation of that document, the field should be equipped and put on stream.  Full Article

Gazprom neft' OAO subsidiary begins fueling Air Astana airplanes in Barcelona-Interfax

Gazprom neft' OAO:Gazpromneft-Aero, the aviation fueling operator of Gazprom Neft, and Kazakhstan's national airline, Air Astana, have singed an agreement to fuel airplanes abroad in the 2014 summer season, Gazprom Neft said in a statement-Interfax.Fueling began at Spain's Barcelona-El Prat Airport, where Air Astana carries out direct flights from Almaty in the summer season.Gazpromneft-Aero fuels Air Astana flights in Spain as part of a partnership with Portuguese energy company Galp Energia, a direct supplier of aviation fuel.In the future, Gazpromneft-Aero is planning to expand cooperation with Air Astana.The company is currently actively developing international flights from Kazakhstan to more than 40 airports in Europe, Russia, the CIS and the Middle East.Gazpromneft-Aero operates at 133 airports in more than 50 countries.  Full Article
