NK Russneft' OAO's Subsidiary Buys Holders of Two Hydrocarbon Fields-Interfax

Interfax reported that Tomskaya Neft (Tomsk Oil), part of oil company NK Russneft' OAO (RussNeft), has acquired 100% of the charter capital of two legal entities that hold licenses to the mixed hydrocarbon section Muromsky-1 and deposit Srednevasyuganskoye. The head of Tomskaya Neft's drilling division, Ms. Natalya Gordeyeva, has told Interfax that the company has wrapped up the acquisition of Muromskoye LLC and Sredne-Vasyuganskoye LLC. According to the SPARK-Interfax database, the acquisition of the former was completed last month. The company previously belonged to former State Duma deputy Mr. Maxim Korobov, who bought it from Sredne-Vasyuganskoye LLC in 2011. Sredne-Vasyuganskoye LLC belonged to Cyprus-based Sgo Sibgasoil Investment Ltd. as of last September 26, according to SPARK-Interfax data. Both deposits are located in the Kargasok district of Tomsk Region not far from Sredny Vasyugan. Recoverable C3 oil resources in the Muromsky section amount to 0.9 million tons, C1 gas resources to 0.6 billion cubic meters. Tomskaya Neft has not said what the Srednevasyuganskoye resources are.
