Sao Martinho SA Announces Joint Venture with Petrobras Biocombustivel SA

Sao Martinho SA announced that on a General Extraordinary Meeting of Nova Fronteira Bioenergia SA, a joint venture between the Company and Petrobras Biocombustivel SA was approved, expanding the grinding capacity of Usina Boa Vista in Goias, Brazil, to 8,000 tons of cane sugar for the harvest period of 2014 and 2015. Nova Fronteira Bioenergia SA will invest BRL 520.7 million in the project. After the expansion, the plant will have the capacity production of 700 million liters of ethanol and 600,000 Megawatts of electric energy cogeneration.
