Outokumpu Oyj Completes Acquisition of ThyssenKrupp AG's Inoxum-DJ
Dow Jones reported that Outokumpu Oyj has completed its acquisition of ThyssenKrupp AG's Inoxum unit and that it thus has implemented a new business structure. As of December 29, 2012 Outokumpu has four business areas: Stainless Coil EMEA, Stainless Coil Americas, Stainless APAC and High Performance Stainless & Alloys. The combination of Inoxum and Outokumpu is structured to create annual cost synergies of EUR 200 million, of which EUR 50 million are expected in 2013.
