Telekom Austria AG's Croatian Subsidiary Acquires Satellite TV Provider-DJ
Dow Jones reported that the Croatian subsidiary of Telekom Austria AG, Vipnet d.o.o., has acquired the Croatian satellite-television provider Digi TV. Through this acquisition, Vipnet will expand its current telephony, internet and cable television service portfolio to include digital satellite television solutions and position itself as full service provider on the Croatian television market. Telekom Austria AG Completes the Acquisition of YESSS!
Telekom Austria AG announced that it has completed the acquisition of YESSS! Telekommunikation GmbH ("YESSS!"). On November 27, 2012 the Austrian Cartel Court approved the proposed acquisition of YESSS! by Telekom Austria Group without conditions. The approval decision became legally binding on December 21, 2012. Telekom Austria AG announced that it has received the decision of the Austrian Cartel Court to approve the proposed acquisition of YESSS! Telekom Austria AG announced that it has lowered its dividend from EUR 0.38 per share to EUR 0.05 per share for the fiscal year 2012 and has set the planned dividend for the fiscal year 2013 to EUR 0.05 per share. This is a result of the expectation that the intensification of the competition in Austria will continue in 2013. Together with adverse macro-economic conditions in CEE as well as regulatory pressure going forward, this is anticipated to have a material impact on the financial results and the cash flow generation in 2013.
