Tornier NV Issues Q4 2012 Guidance; Revenue Guidance Above Analysts' Estimates; Raises FY 2012 Revenue Guidance; Lowers FY 2012 EBITDA Guidance
Tornier NV announced that for the fourth quarter of 2012, it projects constant currency sales to be in the range of $77-$80 million. Based on recent currency exchange rates, fourth quarter 2012 reported sales are projected to be in the range of $75.8-$78.8 million. The Company projects adjusted EBITDA, inclusive of OrthoHelix operations, for the fourth quarter of 2012 to be in the range of $9-$11 million. For fiscal 2012, the Company projects fiscal 2012 constant currency sales to be in the range of $282.5-$285.5 million. Based on recent currency exchange rates, fiscal 2012 reported sales are projected to be in the range of $274-$277 million. The Company projects 2012 adjusted EBITDA to be in the range of $31 to $33 million, or 11% to 12% of reported sales, inclusive of the anticipated impact of OrthoHelix operations. According to I/B/E/S Estimates, analysts on an average were expecting the Company to report revenue of $72.5 million and EBITDA of $9 million for the fourth quarter of 2012; and revenue of $271 million for fiscal 2012.
