TRC Companies Inc announced that it has entered into a new $75 million five-year revolving credit facility with RBS Citizens, as lead bank, and JPMorgan Chase. TRC Companies, Inc. Secures Construction Engineering Inspection Contract From Tennessee Department Of Transportation

TRC Companies, Inc. announced that it has been awarded a construction engineering inspection contract by the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) in support of Phase 9 of the I-40 Mississippi River Bridge seismic retrofit project. TRC has been involved in the project since it began in 1992. The final phase of the project, Phase 9, consists of the seismic retrofit of structures in the Arkansas portion of the Bridge. Under the contract for this work, TRC will oversee the retrofit of an existing P/S I-girder relief bridge consisting of 16 spans, as well as an existing welded plate girder relief bridge consisting of 7 spans. The work will be conducted in a fashion that allows the Bridge's four lanes of traffic (two in each direction) to remain open. The final construction phase is expected to last through March 2015. The I-40 Bridge is 3.3 miles long, including the main channel spans, approaches, and ramps. The structure is comprised of 164 spans, 160 piers, and 10 abutments. TRC has provided engineering services for all phases of the project including seismic analysis, retrofit design and retrofit construction.  Full Article

TRC Companies, Inc. Receives Environmental Remediation Contract From US Army Corps

TRC Companies, Inc. announced that, in partnership with Plexus Scientific, it has been awarded a ten-year combined ceiling contract by the US Army Corps of Engineers (Corps). TRC will provide environmental remediation and restoration services for the Corps' Louisville District and all of its Mission Boundaries. TRC estimates that the services performed through this competitive task order contract have the potential to generate a total of more than $12 million in revenue. Under the contract, TRC will support environmental projects including hazardous, toxic and radioactive waste cleanup and military munitions response programs. TRC will execute a full range of environmental services, including but not limited to, remedial investigations; studies; pre-design and design; remediation; environmental compliance; environmental analysis; ecosystem restoration; environmental dredging; operation and maintenance; and emergency and/or time-critical response activities for projects assigned to the Louisville District or Mission Boundaries.  Full Article

Payne's net service revenue for calendar year 2010 was approximately $4.7 million. The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive. TRC Companies, Inc. Expands Cleanup And Closure Of Midwestern Landfills Contract

TRC Companies, Inc. announced that it has executed a second Exit Strategy based, risk-sharing transaction with a Midwestern municipal corporation representing a number of cities for the cleanup of multiple solid waste landfills. The contract value is estimated at $10.8 million. TRC began working with the client in 2010 to manage their environmental risk and properly cleanup two landfills in accordance with regulatory requirements. TRC Companies, Inc. announced that it has been awarded a $1.7 million contract to perform in-situ environmental remediation and groundwater monitoring for a confidential food processing plant in California.
