Urs Corp Secures Design-Build Contract
Urs Corp announced that the Company has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, multiple award contract from the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville, Alabama, to provide design-build services for the Medical Repair and Renewal Program in the continental United States and at overseas locations. The contract has a one-year base and four one-year option periods. The program has a maximum, aggregate value of approximately $585 million to the seven awardees, if all option periods are exercised. Under the terms of the contract, URS can compete for or be awarded task orders to design and build U.S. Army medical facilities. Urs Corp Secures NATO Management Advisory Services Contract
Urs Corp announced that a URS-led team has been awarded one of four indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts to provide management advisory services to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). The contract has a six-year performance period. Under the contract, URS and its strategic subcontractors will compete for future task orders in support of NATO`s transition to its new headquarters facility in Brussels, as well as other current and future organizational change and improvement initiatives. Specific services could include communications support, logistics consulting, infrastructure and facilities operations and management consulting, business process design and management, program and project management support, and human capital management consulting. Urs Corp Secures U.S. Army Contract For Maintenance Supply And Operations
Urs Corp announced that it has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Army Contracting Command in Rock Island, Illinois, to provide operations and maintenance services to support the U.S. Department of State at numerous locations. The contract, which includes a base period of one year with two three-month option periods, has a maximum value of approximately $111 million to URS. Under the contract, URS will provide maintenance support and property accountability for military equipment for the Department of State and Office of Security Cooperation - Iraq. URS will support critical equipment including a variety of tactical communications systems, the Giraffe radar-based surveillance and air defense command and control system, and the FLIR Star SAFIRE III sensor systems. Urs Corp announced that it has been selected by the U.S. Army to provide Rotary Wing Flight Training at the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) in Fort Rucker, Alabama. The contract has a one-year base period and two one-year option periods, with a maximum value of approximately $165 million to URS over the full three years.
