VSE Corp's Subsidiary Akimeka Receives five Year Contract

VSE Corp announced that its subsidiary, Akimeka, has been awarded a contract by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Tricare Management Activity (TMA). VSE was one of seven awardees of an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract which has a five year period of performance and a total cumulative contract value not to exceed $300 million for the entire program. The contract will support the Pacific Joint Information Technology Center (Pacific JITC) out of Kihei, Maui, Hawaii in the areas of Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) proof of concept demonstrations and product prototyping. Akimeka will support the Military Health System fulfill its mission to rapidly research, test and develop warfighter medical solutions and products, through pilots or prototypes that provide mission critical value and actionable information to the DoD, including the Services, Combatant Commanders, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Full Article

VSE Corp Wins Multiple Award Health and Information Technology Contract with a Combined Potential Program Value Of $20 Billion

VSE Corp announced that it has been awarded a prime contract by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The 10-year, multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) government-wide acquisition contracts (GWAC), have a cumulative ceiling value of approximately $20 billion. The ceiling dollars are to be 100% federally funded. VSE’s IT, Energy and Management Consulting Group will perform the work, which includes on-going information technology (IT) integration and outsourcing support services through the NIH Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners III (CIO-SP3) program. Task areas are designed to support the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) and all IT services described in the FEA. VSE’s work under the contract is expected to include routine and critical IT services for biomedical research and healthcare, IT operations and maintenance, infrastructure protection and information assurance, and enterprise management systems.  Full Article

VSE Corp Declares $0.08 per Share Cash Dividend

VSE Corp announced that the Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.08 per share, increasing the cash dividend by 14% for an annual payout rate $0.32 per share. The dividend will be paid on August 8, 2012, to stockholders of record as of July 25, 2012.  Full Article

VSE Corp. announced that its subsidiary, Akimeka, has been awarded a 10-year U.S. Air Force Services Agency (AFSVA) contract. The $10 million award is to implement and support an enterprise Point-of-Sale Golf Management Solution for 70 golf courses located on Air Force bases world-wide. Akimeka teamed with Club Prophet Systems and Terremark Worldwide, Inc. to provide the cutting-edge golf management software and Federal Cloud hosting to the Air Force.  Full Article

VSE Corp's GLOBAL Division Retains U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command Five Year

VSE Corp announced that its GLOBAL Division has retained a one year $277 million cost-plus-award-fee, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract by the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command as a result of the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) having denied a protest to the award of the contract to VSE. VSE originally announced the award on October 3, 2011 prior to the protest. VSE’s performance of the awarded contract can now proceed. The five-year maximum potential $1.5 billion contract is for continuous lifecycle support of naval vessels bought, sold, or otherwise transferred to Foreign Military Sales customers through the International Fleet Support Program.  Full Article

VSE Corp.'s Government Services Division Secures Contract

VSE Corp. announced that its Government Services Division has been awarded a one year, $23.4 million indefinite-quantity, indefinite- delivery hybrid firm-fixed price, fixed rate and cost-plus fixed fee contract by the U.S. Department of the Treasury for continued support of the seized and forfeited general property program. This contract includes options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative 10-year maximum potential value of this contract to approximately $250 million. VSE has been the prime contractor for Treasury’s Office for Asset Forfeiture (TEOAF) general property program since 2006. Under this contract, VSE will lead its team to provide transportation, storage, and disposition services to several law enforcement agencies, including Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Secret Service, IRS-Criminal Investigation, and the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC).  Full Article

VSE Corp.'s GLOBAL Division announced that it has been awarded a one-year $277 million cost-plus-award-fee, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract by the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command for continuous lifecycle support of naval vessels bought, sold, or otherwise transferred to Foreign Military Sales customers through the International Fleet Support Program. This contract includes options, which, if exercised by NAVSEA, would bring the cumulative five-year maximum potential value of this contract to $1.5 billion. VSE will lead its Naval Ship Transfer and Repair (N*STAR) team with services to foreign customers and allies to include design, configuration management, field engineering, maintenance planning, maintenance, spare parts support, training, casualty, and depot-level repair. The VSE N*STAR team will also provide engineering, technical, procurement, logistics, test, inspection, calibration, repair, maintenance, equipment upgrade installation, and overhaul support services, including reactivation to safe-to-sail status. VSE Corp.'s G&B Solutions, Inc Secures Contract

VSE Corp. announced that G&B Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of VSE Corporation, reported that they were one of 14 vendors to receive a contract for the new blanket purchase agreement (BPA) for cyber security services. The General Services Administration (GSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) awarded G&B Solutions a place on the risk management framework (RMF) and certification and accreditation BPA. Under the new BPA, the benefits provided to GSA and DHS will include the concept of near real-time risk management and ongoing information system authorization through the implementation of robust continuous monitoring processes. The RMF and C&A platforms encourage the use of automation to provide leaders the necessary information to make cost-effective, risk-based decisions with regard to the organizational information systems supporting their core missions and business functions and integrating information security into the enterprise architecture and system development life cycle.  Full Article
