Competitive Carriers Association Partners With Boingo Wireless Inc To Offer Wi-Fi Offload Solutions

Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) announced a strategic partnership with Boingo Wireless to offer Wi-Fi offload solutions to CCA carrier members. In 2012, cellular data usage has averaged between 500-800 MBs per month, with total data usage averaging up to 4 GB per month when Wi-Fi usage is included. Mobile data traffic is expected to continue growing at an exponential rate. To help carriers meet this growing demand and strain on their networks, Boingo is offering white-labeled Wi-Fi solutions to CCA carriers so their customers can connect to Boingo’s global footprint with one single account.
