WellPoint Inc Raises FY 2012 Guidance
WellPoint Inc announced that for fiscal 2012, it expects net income to be at least $7.84 per share, including net investment gains of $0.19 per share from the first quarter of 2012. Excluding the net investment gains, adjusted net income is now expected to be at least $7.65 per share (EPS) and operating revenue is now expected to total approximately $61.2 billion. According to I/B/E/S estimates, analysts were expecting the Company to report EPS of $7.74 on revenue of $62.1 billion for fiscal 2012.
