Woodside Petroleum Ltd (Woodside) announced that the sale of a minority portion of the Company’s equity in the proposed Browse LNG Development to Japan Australia LNG (MIMI Browse) Pty Ltd (MIMI) has been completed. The sale involves MIMI taking a 16% interest in the East Browse joint venture and 8% interest in the West Browse joint venture for USD 2 billion. Australia's Woodside in tech deal with Shell for Browse floating LNG

PERTH, April 30 - Australia's Woodside Petroleum Ltd has signed a preliminary technology agreement with shareholder Royal Dutch Shell to develop its Browse gas field using Shell's floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) technology in case it finally opts for that route.
