Name Description

Dino Robusto

Mr. Dino E. Robusto is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Mr. Robusto served in various senior management capacities at Chubb Limited, most recently as President of Commercial and Specialty Lines of the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies and Executive Vice President of Chubb Limited from 2013 until his retirement from Chubb in November 2015. Prior to that, he was President of Personal Lines and Claims from 2011 through 2013. Mr. Robusto joined Chubb in 1986. He serves on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of New Jersey and formerly served on the Boards of Directors of Applied Systems Inc. and RAND Corporation's Institute for Civil Justice, and on the Board of Advisors of Catalyst, Inc.

Weber practiced law for 21 years and held prominent partner roles at two top-ranked international law firms, Latham &Watkins and Patton Boggs, where he successfully litigated and tried complex cases, including class action, toxic tort and product liability matters and conducted internal investigations and compliance work. Weber served as Senior Counselor to the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, providing counsel on a wide range of legal, policy and operational matters.

Joseph Merten

Mr. Joseph Merten is Executive Vice President, Technology and Operations of the company. He is a seasoned insurance leader who brings more than 30 years of experience to this role. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of AXIS Capital, where he was responsible for leading transformation programs that included implementing new organizational models, processes and technology infrastructure to increase operational performance. Prior to his role at AXIS, Merten held leadership roles at Grant Thorton and LECG, where he led the Operations and Consulting Practices within LECG's Insurance Industry vertical.

Douglas Worman

Mr. Douglas M. Worman is appointed as Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer of the company effective March 7. He is an experienced insurance leader, Worman most recently served as the CEO of U.S. Insurance at Endurance Holdings, where he was responsible for profitably growing the business, enhancing underwriting strategies, empowering talent, and improving agent/broker relationships. Prior to that role, Worman held executive positions at Alterra Capital Holdings and Sharebridge Private Equity Consolidated. He began his insurance career as an underwriter at AIG, where he worked his way up to President and CEO of the carrier's Excess Casualty Group.

Robert Thomas

Mr. Robert Thomas has been appointed as Senior Vice President - Claim Analytics, Finance and Operations of the Company. Thomas began his career in 1994 as a Specialty Lines Actuary. Since then, he has held a wide variety of roles with increasing responsibility including pricing, product management, claims and reserving (including runoff and mass tort), capital attribution, business intelligence and predictive model teams supporting pricing, underwriting and claims. Most recently, Thomas served as Senior Vice President and Chief P&C Actuary at TheHartford. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Worchester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of Hartford.

Joyce Trimuel

Ms. Joyce Trimuel serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer of the Company. She is responsible for developing and leading a cadre of strategic priorities aimed at accelerating the company's efforts to build a diverse and inclusive culture. Trimuel joins CNA with nearly 20 years of underwriting and industry leadership. Most recently, she served as Vice President and Kansas CityBranch Manager for Chubb. At the same time, she founded the Lead. Link.Leverage initiative, offering more than 200 women business leaders in the Kansas City community professional career development. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of General Electric Company, a publicly traded company. Don Randel

Mr. Don M. Randel is an Independent Director of CNA Financial Corporation. He is retired president of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, a position Mr. Randel held from July 2006 to March 2013. Prior to that, Mr. Randel served as President of the University of Chicago from 2000-2006. Mr. Randel's experience as a senior leader of a large institution is of great value to our Board. He is a member of the Audit, Compensation and Finance Committees. Mr. Randel has been a director since 2002.

He is Professor Emeritus of International Political Economy, Leadership and E-Commerce at the Booth School of Business of the University of Chicago since 1989. Mr. Zonis has been a principal of Marvin Zonis & Associates, Inc., an international consulting firm, since its incorporation in 1978. He provides advice to various businesses and professional asset management firms all over the world, helping them to identify, assess and manage their risks in the changing global political environment. He has written extensively on globalization, digital technologies and emerging markets.
