Name Description

Remi Dorval

Mr. Remi Dorval serves as Independent Chairman of the Board of CGG SA. He was also Member of the Audit, Nominations, Remuneration and Technology Committees of the Company. Mr. Dorval graduated from Ecole Centrale de Paris, Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and Ecole Nationale d’Administration. He was Head of the hydrocarbon division at the Ministry of Industry from 1979 to 1984, and Director of Treasury, Services and Monetary and Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Economy and Finance from 1984 to 1986. Between 1986 and 1990, he held successively the positions of Director of New York branch, Managing Director of Gabon-based subsidiary, and Central Director in charge of treasury, real estate portfolio and financial markets at the International Banque for Western Africa. From 1990 to 1997, he was at Soletanche as Member of the Board and Managing Director in charge of oil activities and then as Vice Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Forasol-Foramer. Mr. Dorval has been Vice Chairman and Appointed Managing Director of Soletanche-Bachy since June 1997. He holds several other mandates, including Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Soletanche Bachy Entreprise, Chairman of Forsol and Director of Soletanche S.A., Solmarine, SHPIC, Sol-Expert International, Sepicos Perfosol, Soletanche Bachy GmbH, Bachy Soletanche Holdings and Nicholson. He is also Director, Chairman and Managing Director of SolData and Permanent Representative of Soletanche Bachy France in the economic group SB Mat.

Jean-Georges Malcor

Mr. Jean-Georges Malcor serves as Chief Executive Officer, Member of the Executive Committee, Director of CGG SA. He began his career at the Thales group in the Underwater Activities division (1983-1987). He then moved to the Sydney-based Thomson Sintra Pacific Australia, becoming Managing Director of the company (1990). Back in France, he became Director of Marketing and Communications (1991), then Director, Foreign Operations of Thomson Sintra Activites Sous-Marines (1993). In 1996, he was appointed Managing Director of Thomson Marconi Sonar Australia and then the first Managing Director of the joint venture Australian Defense Industry (1999). In 2002, he became Senior Vice President, International Operations of Thales International. From 2004 to 2009, he was Senior Vice President, in charge of the Naval Division. Since January 2009, he was Senior Vice President, in charge of the Aerospace Division. In June 2009, he moved to the position of Senior Vice President, Continental Europe, Turkey, Russia, Asia, Africa, Middle East, and Latin America. Mr. Malcor is a graduate of Ecole Centrale de Paris. He also holds a Master of Sciences Degree from Stanford University, and a Doctorate Degree from Ecole des Mines de Paris.

Stephane-Paul Frydman

Mr. Stephane-Paul Frydman serves as Group Chief Financial Officer of CGG SA. Mr. Frydman had previously been Group Controller and Treasurer for CGG Veritas since September 2005 and had been Deputy Financial Director of the CGG Group since January 2004. Before that time, he had been CGG's Vice President in charge of corporate financial affairs reporting to the Director of Finance since December 2002. Prior to joining CGG Veritas, Mr. Frydman was working for the French Ministry of Industry and for the French Ministry of Finances from 1992 to 1997, then as Industrial Advisor to the French Minister of the Economy & Finances from 1997 to 2000. In 2000, he joined Butler Capital Partners as an Investor Officer.

Pascal Rouiller

Mr. Pascal Rouiller is Chief Operating Officer at CGG SA. Prior to this, he was Corporate Executive, Senior Executive Vice President - Equipment Division, CEO Sercel, Member of the Executive Committee at the Company. Mr. Rouiller has served as Chief Operating Officer of the Sercel Group since December 1999. Mr. Rouiller was Vice President of CGG's Product segment from October 1995 to December 1999 and Vice President for CGG's Asia-Pacific region from May 1992 to September 1995. He joined CGG Veritas in 1979 as Field Engineer.

Sophie Zurquiyah-Rousset

Ms. Sophie Zurquiyah-Rousset is Chief Operating Officer at CGG SA. Prior to this, she was Senior Executive Vice President - Geophysics and Reservoir (GGR) Division, Member of the Executive Committee of the Company. She began her career by joining Schlumberger in 1991 as a geophysics engineer and held a variety of positions in Engineering and Manufacturing in France and in the United States before becoming General Manager for the South Latin America region, based in Rio de Janeiro. She is a graduate of the Ecole Centrale de Paris and holds a Master of Science in Numerical Analysis from the Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris 6), as well as a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado.

Don Pham

Mr. Don Pham serves as Executive Vice President of Research & Development and Technology, Member of the Executive Committee at CGG SA. Prior to this, he was Executive Vice President, Geomarkets Sales & Marketing at the Company.

Olivier Gouirand

Mr. Olivier Gouirand is Executive Vice President of GOE, Interrnal Audit, Risk Management, HSE and SD, Member of the Executive Committee at CGG SA. Prior to this, he served as Vice President - Finance at the Company. He was previously advisor to the French Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industry, in charge of State Shareholdings.

Beatrice Place-Faget

Ms. Beatrice Place-Faget serves as Executive Vice President, Group General Counsel, General Secretary, Member of the Executive Committee of CGG SA. Before joining CGG, she worked as a lawyer for France Cables et Radio (France Telecom Group) from 1995 to 2000 where she specialized in contracts, M&A and corporate law. She then joined Eridania Beghin Say in 2000 as senior lawyer specialized in corporate law and M&A and was also General Counsel for Cerestar (starch industry), one of the companies resulting from the demerger of Eridania Beghin Say. She holds a Doctorate in English and U.S. Business Law from Universite Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne and a Masters in Common Law Studies from Georgetown University Law Center (USA – Washington DC).

Mr. Christophe Barnini serves as Executive Vice President of Geomarkets, Sales & Marketing and Group Communications, Member of the Executive Committee at CGG S.A. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President - Communications at the Company.

David Dragone

Mr. David Dragone serves as Executive Vice President of Human Resources of CGG SA since April 2013. He began his career working for Schlumberger where he held various HR positions over a period of seven years, ranging from his first assignment as Compensation and Benefits Analyst to his last assignment with Schlumberger as HR Director for the EMEA region and for the all the Product Centers of WesternGeco. He then worked for Areva for six years, where he held the position of VP, HR, first for its Mining Division and then for its Front End Division. He graduated with a Masters Degree in Economics from Universite Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne and a Masters Degree in Human Resources from Universite Paris II Pantheon-Assas.

Colin Murdoch

Mr. Colin Murdoch is Executive Vice President of Subsurface Imaging and Member of the Executive Committee of CGG SA. He began his career in the industry as a data processing geophysicist with Seiscom Delta in Dublin, also spending some time as an Assistant Party Chief on a field crew in Indonesia. He then joined McKinley Smith, a geological/geophysical consultant based in Ireland, where he was engaged in the interpretation of seismic data and prospect generation. In 1983, he joined Digicon Geophysical Corp. as a data processing manager in Caracas, and after two years he moved to Houston to run a dedicated processing center for UNOCAL. In 1985, he joined Entropic Geopyhsical, based in California, as Land Processing manager. In 1987, he returned to Digicon Geophysical where he held a number of positions in Data Processing including Manager for North and South America. In 1994, he became Vice President of Data Processing & Technology.

Eva Rudin

Ms. Eva Rudin serves as Executive Vice President of Marine Data Acquisition, Member of the Executive Committee at CGG SA. She started her career as a Process Engineer in the automotive industry and occupied different responsibilities in Maintenance, Process Engineering, Supply Chain and Sourcing. After 16 years working for Volvo, Renault and Nissan, she joined the Company in 2009 as Senior Vice President Global Sourcing. With the new organization in 2010, the Supply Chain was added to her scope. She is a graduate of Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. She holds a Master of Sciences in Industrial Engineering.

Ms. Hilde Myrberg serves as Director of CGG SA. She graduated from Universitetet i Oslo in Law with a Masters Degree (1983), as well as a Masters of Business Administration from INSEAD (1984). She is also studying French Civilization at La Sorbonne University, Paris. She served as Senior Vice President at Orkla ASA. She is Member of the Company's Audit Committee.

Robert Semmens

Mr. Robert F. Semmens has been Director of CGG SA since December 13, 1999. Mr. Semmens is Chairman of the Company's Nominating and Remuneration Committee and Member of the Strategy Committee. He is Appointed Professor of Finance at Leonard N. Stern School of Business of the New York University. In 1993, he was a co-founder of The Beacon Group, a New York City-based investment company. Prior to this, he was Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs & Co. Mr. Semmens currently serves as Member of the Supervisory Board of Sercel Holding, Member of the Advisory Board of Mao Networks and Director of Micropharma Ltd. He holds a Masters Degree in Management and a Juris Doctor Degree from North West London University.

Mr. Loren K. Carroll serves as Independent Director of CGG SA since January 12, 2007. He is also Member of the Company's Audit Committee. He has completed Finance and Accounting studies at the University of Pennsylvania and is also a graduate of California State University. He joined Smith International in December 1984 as Vice Chairman and Director of Finance. In January 1988, he was nominated to the position of Executive Vice Chairman and Director of Finance, a position which he held until March 1989. In 1992, he returned to Smith International as Executive Vice Chairman and Director of Finance, until he retired in April 2006. He also served as Chairman and Managing Director (CEO) of M-I Swaco LLC and as Executive Vice Chairman of Smith International Inc. He currently works as a Finance and Strategy Consultant and is also Director of Smith International Inc., Fleetwood Enterprise Inc., Forest Oil Corporation and KBR Inc.

Michael Daly

Mr. Michael Daly serves as Independent Director at CGG S.A. He has been on the Company's Board since September 30, 2015.

Agnes Lemarchand

Ms. Agnes Lemarchand serves as Independent Director of CGG SA since September 21, 2012. She is also Member of the Audit, Nominating, Remuneration and HSE and Sustainable Development Committees of the Company. Ms. Gilberte Lombard serves as Independent Director of CGG SA since May 4, 2011. She is also Member of the HSE/Sustainable Development Committee of the Company. She holds a Master of Science in Economics from INSEAD. She started her career as Financial Analyst.

Kathleen Sendall

Ms. Kathleen E. Sendall has been Independent Director of CGG SA since May 5, 2010. She is member of the Company's Technology, Nominating and Remuneration Committees and Chairman of the Hygiene, Safety, Environment & Sustainable Development Committee. Ms. Sendall started her career at Petro-Canada in 1978 as an engineer in various responsibilities. At Nova before the merger with petro-Canada she worked as an engineer in charge of the design and construction of a compression plant in 1982. From 1996 until 2002 she served as Vice president Engineering & Development and Vice President Western Canada Development and Operations. From 2002 to 2009 she served as Vice President at North American Natural Gas at Petro-Canada. She currently serves as Vice Chairman of the University of Calgary and member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists, among others. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University (Ontario) and Western Ontario Business School (The University of Western Ontario).

Catherine Leveau
