Name Description

Andreas Fibig

Mr. Andreas Fibig is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr. Fibig joined our Board in 2011 and has been our Chairman since December 2014 and Chief Executive Officer since September 2014. Previously, he served as President and Chairman of the Board of Management of Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals, the pharmaceutical division of Bayer AG, from September 2008 to September 2014. Prior to that position, Mr. Fibig held a number of positions of increasing responsibility at Pfizer Inc., a research-based pharmaceutical company, including as Senior Vice President of the US Pharmaceutical Operations group from 2007 through 2008 and as President, Latin America, Africa and Middle East from 2006 through 2007.

Richard O'Leary

Dr. Richard A. O'Leary serves as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the Company. Mr. O'Leary has served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since October 2016. Mr. O’Leary originally joined our Company in July 2007. Mr. O’Leary was our Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer from July 2015 until his appointment as Chief Financial Officer, and served as our Vice President and Controller from May 2009 to November 2014. Mr. O’Leary served as our Interim Chief Financial Officer from November 2014 to July 2015 and from July 2008 to May 2009. Mr. O’Leary was Vice President, Corporate Development from July 2007 to May 2009. Prior to joining our Company, Mr. O’Leary served in various positions at International Paper Co., a paper and packaging company, which he originally joined in 1986, including, as Chief Financial Officer of International Paper Company (Brazil) from June 2004 to June 2007. Prior to International Paper, Mr. O’Leary was with Arthur Young & Co.

Matthias Haeni

Mr. Matthias Haeni serves as Group President - Flavors of the Company. Mr. Haeni has served as our Group President, Flavors since April 2014. Mr. Haeni joined us in 2007 in the role of Regional General Manager, Flavors Greater Asia. In 2010, Mr. Haeni transferred to Hilversum, The Netherlands where he served as Regional General Manager for Flavors Europe, Africa, and the Middle East (EAME).

Nicolas Mirzayantz

Mr. Nicolas Mirzayantz serves as Group President - Fragrances of the Company. He has served as our Group President, Fragrances since January 2007, and originally joined our Company in 1988. Prior to his appointment as Group President, Fragrances, he served as a member of our Temporary Office of the Chief Executive Officer from October 1, 2009 until February 2010, our Senior Vice President, Fine Fragrance and Beauty Care and Regional Manager North America, from March 2005 to December 2006, our Senior Vice President, Fine Fragrance and Beauty Care from October 2004 to February 2005, and our Vice President Global Fragrance Business Development from February 2002 to September 2004.

Susana Suarez-Gonzalez

Ms. Susana Suarez-Gonzalez serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of the Company. Prior to joining our Company, Ms. Gonzalez was Senior Vice President Global Operations, Human Resources of Fluor Corporation from July 1991 to November 2016, and was responsible for the global execution of HR services as well as all corporate HR functions, encompassing global benefits, compensation, talent development, recruiting and human resources information systems. Ms. Gonzalez was at Fluor for 25 years, where she held leadership positions across several business groups and functions including construction, marketing, sales, project engineering and human resources.

Anne Chwat

Ms. Anne Chwat serves as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the Company. Ms. Chwat has served as our Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since August 2015 and as our Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from April 2011 to August 2015. Prior to joining us, Ms. Chwat served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Burger King Holdings, Inc., a fast food hamburger restaurant company, from September 2004 to April 2011. From September 2000 to September 2004, Ms. Chwat served in various positions at BMG Music (now Sony Music Entertainment), including as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer.

Francisco Fortanet

Mr. Francisco Fortanet serves as Executive Vice President - Operations of the Company. He has served as Executive Vice President, Operations since August 2015 and as Senior Vice President, Operations from February 27, 2012 to August 2015. Mr. Fortanet joined our Company in 1995, and has served as our Vice President, Global Manufacturing Compounding from January 2007 to February 2012, our Vice President, Global Manufacturing from January 2006 to January 2007, our Regional Director of North America Operations from December 2003 to January 2005, the Project Manager of a Special Project in IFF Ireland from May 2003 to December 2003 and as our Plant Manager in Hazlet, New Jersey from October 1999 to May 2003.

Gregory Yep

Dr. Gregory L. Yep serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Global Scientific & Sustainability Officer of the Company. Prior to joining our Company, Dr. Yep was Senior Vice President of Research, Development & Applications with The Kerry Group from January 2015 to June 2016, where he was responsible for creating strategy and implementation of technical platforms in the taste and nutrition, food and beverage and the biotechnology industry. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of R&D at PepsiCo from June 2009 to December 2015 and was Global Vice President, Application Technologies at Givaudan Flavors and Fragrances from December 2005 to June 2009. Earlier in his career, Dr. Yep was at McCormick & Company, where he held executive roles of increasing responsibility in food science. Dr. Yep holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, and master’s degree and Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Johns Hopkins University.

Dale Morrison

Mr. Dale F. Morrison serves as Lead Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Morrison has been a founding partner of TriPointe Capital Partners, a private equity firm, since 2011. Prior to TriPointe, he served from 2004 until 2011 as the President and Chief Executive Officer of McCain Foods Limited, an international leader in the frozen food industry. A food industry veteran, his experience includes service as Chief Executive Officer and President of Campbell Soup Company, various roles at General Foods and PepsiCo and as an operating partner of Fenway Partners, a private equity firm.

Stephen Williamson

Mr. Stephen Williamson is Director of the company. He is responsible for the company’s finance, tax, treasury and investor relations functions. He joined Thermo Fisher in 2001 as Vice President, European Financial Operations, based in the U.K., and oversaw its integration activities across Europe. In 2004, Mr. Williamson moved to the U.S. and held finance leadership roles for many of Thermo Fisher’s operating businesses. In 2008, he became Vice President of Financial Operations for the company and led the finance function supporting all businesses. During his 15-year tenure, Mr. Williamson has been involved in over 100 acquisitions. Prior to Thermo Fisher, Mr. Williamson served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Asia-Pacific for Honeywell International (formerly AlliedSignal) in Singapore and held other finance roles in corporate development and operational finance. He began his career with Price Waterhouse in the transaction support group and the audit practice, working in both London and New York. Mr. Williamson holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Wales and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Marcello Bottoli

Mr. Marcello Vittorio Bottoli serves as Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Bottoli is a Partner at Es Vedra Capital Advisors LLP, an advisory and investment firm dedicated to Venture Capital and Growth Equity. Previously, Mr. Bottoli was an Operating Partner at Boston-based Advent International, a global private equity firm, between 2010 and 2015. Mr. Bottoli also served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Pandora A/S, a designer, manufacturer and marketer of hand-finished and modern jewelry, from August 2011 until March 2012. Mr. Bottoli served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Samsonite Inc., a luggage manufacturer and distributor, from March 2004 through January 2009, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Louis Vuitton Malletier, a manufacturer and retailer of luxury handbags and accessories, from 2001 through 2002. Previously, Mr. Bottoli held a number of roles with Benckiser N.V., and then Reckitt Benckiser plc, a home, health and personal care products company, following the merger of Benckiser with Reckitt & Colman Ltd.

Linda Buck

Dr. Linda B. Buck, Ph.D. serves as Independent Director of the Company. Dr. Linda Buck has been a Full Member of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center since 2002. In addition, Dr. Buck has been an Affiliate Professor of Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Washington since 2003. She was previously Full Professor of Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Buck’s research has provided key insights into the mechanisms that underlie the sense of smell and she has been the recipient of numerous awards, including The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2004.

Michael Ducker

Mr. Michael L. Ducker serves as Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Ducker has been President and Chief Executive Officer of FedEx Freight since January 2015. In that role, he provides strategic direction for FedEx’s less-than-truckload (LTL) companies throughout North America and for FedEx Custom Critical, a leading carrier of time sensitive, critical shipments. Mr. Ducker was formerly the Chief Operating Officer and President of International for FedEx Express, where he led all customer-facing aspects of the company’s U.S. operations and its international business, spanning more than 220 countries and territories across the globe. Mr. Ducker also oversaw FedEx Trade Networks and FedEx Supply Chain. During his FedEx career, which began in 1975, Mr. Ducker has also served as president of FedEx Express Asia Pacific in Hong Kong and led the Southeast Asia and Middle East regions from Singapore, as well as Southern Europe from Milan, Italy.

David Epstein

Mr. David R. Epstein serves as Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Epstein is an Executive Partner at Flagship Pioneering, a venture capital firm focused on life sciences companies. Previously, Mr. Epstein served as Division Head and CEO of Novartis Pharmaceuticals, a division of Novartis AG, a Swiss multinational pharmaceutical company, from January 2010 until July 2016. In addition, Mr. Epstein was a member of Novartis’s Executive Committee. From September 2000 to February 2010, Mr. Epstein served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Novartis Oncology division. He joined Sandoz, the predecessor of Novartis, in 1989 and held various leadership positions of increasing responsibility, including Chief Operating Officer of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation in the United States and Global Head of Novartis Specialty Medicines until August 2000. Before joining Sandoz, Mr. Epstein was an associate in the strategy practice of Booz Allen Hamilton, a consulting firm.

Roger Ferguson

Dr. Roger W. Ferguson, Jr. serves as Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Ferguson has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of TIAA (formerly TIAA-CREF), a major financial services company, since 2008. Prior to joining TIAA, Mr. Ferguson served as Chairman of Swiss Re America Holding Corporation, a global insurance company, from 2006 to 2008. Mr. Ferguson served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the U.S. Federal Reserve System from 1999 to 2006. He represented the Federal Reserve on several international policy groups, including Payment System Oversight, Reserve Bank Operations and Supervision and Regulation. In addition, Mr. Ferguson led the Fed’s initial response on 9/11. From 1984 to 1997, Mr. Ferguson was an associate and partner at McKinsey & Company. Mr. Ferguson holds a B.A. and a Ph.D. in Economics and a J.D., all from Harvard University.

John Ferraro

Mr. John Francis Ferraro serves as Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Ferraro was the global chief operating officer of Ernst & Young, a leading professional services firm, from 2007 to January 2015. In that role, he was responsible for the overall operations and services of Ernst & Young worldwide. Prior to the COO role, Mr. Ferraro served in several leadership positions, including as Global Vice Chair of Audit and as the senior advisory partner on some of the firm’s largest accounts. Mr. Ferraro began his career with Ernst & Young Milwaukee in 1976 and has served a variety of global companies. He has worked in Europe (London and Rome), throughout the Midwest (Chicago, Cleveland and Kansas City) and New York.

Christina Gold

Ms. Christina A. Gold serves as Independent Director of the Company. From September 2006 until September 2010, Ms. Gold was Chief Executive Officer, President and a director of The Western Union Company, a leader in global money movement and payment services. She was President of Western Union Financial Services, Inc. and Senior Executive Vice President of First Data Corporation, former parent company of The Western Union Company and provider of electronic commerce and payment solutions, from May 2002 to September 2006. Prior to that, Ms. Gold served as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Excel Communications, Inc., a former telecommunications and e-commerce services provider, from October 1999 to May 2002. From 1998 to 1999, Ms. Gold served as President and CEO of Beaconsfield Group, Inc., a direct selling advisory firm that she founded. Prior to founding Beaconsfield Group, Ms. Gold spent 28 years (from 1970 to 1998) with Avon Products, Inc., a leading global beauty company, in a variety of positions, including as Executive Vice President, Global Direct Selling Development, Senior Vice President and later President of Avon North America, and Senior Vice President & CEO of Avon Canada.

Henry Howell

Mr. Henry W. Howell, Jr. serves as Independent Director of the Company. Until 2000, Mr. Howell served in various positions during his 34 years with J.P. Morgan, a global financial services firm. While at J.P. Morgan, Mr. Howell held several overseas positions including head of banking operations in Germany and Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan’s Australian merchant banking affiliate, which was publicly listed. Both of these assignments enhanced his ability to analyze complex international business and financial matters.

Katherine Hudson

Ms. Katherine M. Hudson serves as Independent Director of the Company. As Chairperson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Brady Corporation, a global manufacturer of identification solutions and specialty industrial products, from 1994 until 2004, Ms. Hudson oversaw a doubling of annual revenues. Her prior experience during 24 years with Eastman Kodak, an imaging technology products provider, covered various areas of responsibility, including systems analysis, supply chain, finance and information technology. Her general management experience spans both commercial and consumer product lines.
