Biographies

Name Description

Michael Harding

Mr. Michael Harding is Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Lynas Corporation Limited since 1 January 2015. He joined the Company as Non-Executive Chairman on January 1, 2015 and has significant experience with industrial businesses, having previously held management positions around the world with British Petroleum (BP), including as President and General Manager of BP Exploration Australia. Mr Harding is currently Chairman of Downer EDI Ltd, and a Non-Executive Director of Cleanaway Waste Management Limited (formerly Transpacific Industries Group Ltd). He is a former Chairman of Roc Oil Company Limited and a former Non-Executive Director of Santos Limited and Clough Limited.

Amanda Lacaze

Ms. Amanda Margaret Lacaze is Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Executive Director of the company. She was appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company on June 25, 2014 following her appointment as a Non-Executive Director of the Company on January 1, 2014. Ms Lacaze brings more than 25 years of senior operational experience to Lynas, including as Chief Executive Officer of Commander Communications, Executive Chairman of Orion Telecommunications and Chief Executive Officer of AOL 7. Prior to that, Ms Lacaze was Managing Director of Marketing at Telstra and held various business management roles at ICI Australia (now Orica and Incitec Pivot). Ms Lacaze's early experience was in consumer goods with Nestle. Ms Lacaze is currently a Non-Executive Director of ING Bank Australia Ltd and McPherson's Ltd, and is a member of Chief Executive Women and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Ms Lacaze holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Queensland and postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Australian Graduate School of Management.

G. Sturzenegger

Mr. G. Sturzenegger is Chief Financial Officer of the company. He joined Lynas in March 2014 as General Manager, Finance. Prior to joining Lynas, Gaudenz was with General Motors in India as the Chief Financial Officer, and also worked for the company in various parts of Europe and Asia in executive and managerial positions. Besides assignments in Operations Analysis, Pricing, Special Projects and Treasury, he worked as Sales Controller in Italy and was plant Controller at major manufacturing plants at Opel in Germany. Gaudenz spent several years at GM Daewoo in Korea as Corporate Controller before moving to India. Gaudenz has extensive experience in dealing with different cultures and is well regarded for his expertise in turning around company cultures to a performing cost conscious team.

P. Le Roux

Mr. P. Le Roux is Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the company. He joined Lynas in October 2010 as Vice President Sales & Marketing. Prior to joining Lynas, Pol worked for Rhodia as Diphenol Global Strategic Business Unit Director based in China. He managed all operations worldwide (six plants) of Rhodia Diphenol’s businesses, its R&D programs and he was accountable for cash generation, CFROI and business growth sustainability. During this period, strong cash flow was generated in spite of the global financial crisis, and heavy restructuring was undertaken along with implementing a cost-competitive plan for the subsequent three years. Pol also held various other positions in Rhodia / Rhone-Poulenc in different sectors including Automotive, Plastics, Chemicals and Electronics and based in various countries including Mexico, Korea, China and Europe.

K. Leung

Mr. K. Leung is Vice President of Production of the company. He joined Lynas Mt Weld in 2012 as a General Manager and was played a large role for transforming the plant to what it is now. As the Vice President of Production, Kam is responsible for operations and performance both in LAMP and Mt Weld. His wide exposure to managing risk, safety and environment as well as business improvement and planning has contributed tremendously to the performance improvement of LAMP. Kam is an experienced manager with a strong background in corporate office and general management. He has worked in management roles in two start-up base metal companies, McArthur River and Cannington, as well established mineral sands separation and synthetic rutile processing operations, Narngulu.

Andrew Arnold

Mr. Andrew Arnold is General Counsel and Company Secretary of Lynas Corp Ltd. He was appointed as General Counsel and Company Secretary to the Group on July 23, 2008, following 15 years as a lawyer at Deacons, including six years as a Partner. During that time Mr Arnold also spent two years on secondment at Riddell Williams, Seattle. In his role at Deacons he had been overseeing the legal work of the Group since 2001. Mr Arnold is the responsible person for communication with the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in relation to listing rule matters.

Ivo Polovineo

Mr. Ivo John Polovineo is Joint Company Secretary of the company. He was previously Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary for Sino Gold Mining Limited, formerly an ASX 100 company. He was with Sino Gold for 12 years forming part of the executive team. Mr Polovineo is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (FIPA) with 35 years? experience as a CFO and Company Secretary including 25 years in the resources sector. Mr Polovineo is also Company Secretary of Variscan Mines Limited, Silver City Minerals Limited and Thomson Resources Ltd.

Kathleen Conlon

Ms. Kathleen Marie Conlon is Non-Executive Director of Lynas Corp Ltd. She was appointed as a Non-Executive Director from November 1, 2011. Ms Conlon is currently a Non-Executive Director of REA Group Limited, Aristocrat Leisure Limited and The Benevolent Society and a former Non-Executive Director of CSR Limited. She is also a member of Chief Executive Women, former President of the NSW division of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a former member of the National Board of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Ms Conlon is Chairperson of the audit committee of the Commonwealth Department of Health. Prior to her Non-Executive Director career, Ms Conlon spent 20 years in professional consulting where she successfully assisted companies achieve increased shareholder returns through strategic and operational improvements in a diverse range of industries. Ms Conlon is one of the pre-eminent thought leaders in the area of operations and change management, both in Australia and globally. In 2003, Ms Conlon was awarded the Commonwealth Centenary medal for services to business leadership.

Philippe Etienne

Mr. Philippe Gerald Etienne is Non-Executive Director of Lynas Corporation Limited since January 1, 2015. He joined the Company as a Non-Executive Director on January 1, 2015. He is a Non-Executive Director of Cleanaway Waste Management Limited (formerly Transpacific Industries Group Ltd) and the former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Innovia Security Pty Ltd. In addition, he was previously Chief Executive Officer of Orica Mining Services and was a member of Orica Limited?s Executive Committee. Mr Etienne is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. His career includes senior executive positions with Orica in Australia, the USA and Germany including strategy and planning and responsibility for synergy delivery of large scale acquisitions.

William Forde

Mr. William Gerard Forde is no longer as Non-Executive Director of the Company, effective 28 November 2017. He joined the Company as a Non-Executive Director in December 2007 and was also the Deputy Chairman of the Company until January 1, 2015. Mr Forde has many years’ experience in senior finance and managerial positions in both Ireland and Australia. Mr Forde is a Director of China Matters Ltd. He is also a former Director of Hastings Funds Management Limited and Hastings High Yield Fund, and a former Chairman of Hastings Management Pty Limited. In addition, Mr Forde is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr Forde was Chief Executive Officer of the Baulderstone Hornibrook Group from 2002 to 2005, following 15 years as Chief Financial Officer for the group.

John Humphrey

Prof. John Scott Humphrey is Non-Executive Director of the company. He joined the Company as a Non-Executive Director on May 15, 2017. His key areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate governance. Professor Humphrey is the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Queensland University of Technology.
