Name Description

Panagiotis-Aristidis Thomopoulos

Mr. Panagiotis-Aristidis A. (Takis) Thomopoulos has served as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. since November 9, 2016. He started serving as Member of the Board of Directors on November 2, 2016. He has significant experience of 40 years in the financial sector and deep knowledge of European banking regulatory framework, having served, among others, for a number of years, as Deputy Governor of the Bank of Greece, Chair of Eurobank, independent non-executive member of the Board of the National Bank as well as Executive Chairman of the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund. He graduated from Universite de Paris in 1971, received a Bachelors degree in Economics from University of London in 1960, and a Masters degree in Economics from University of London in 1962. He is Chairman of the Strategy Committee of the Company (as of November 23, 2016).

Leonidas Fragkiadakis

Mr. Leonidas E. Fragkiadakis has served as Chief Executive Officer, Executive Member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. since March 23, 2015. Prior to this, he was appointed General Manager of Treasury and Global Markets at National Bank of Greece SA in January 2009. He is a member of the Board of National Securities and Chairman of the Hellenic Chapter of Forex Club/ACI. During the years 2003-2009 he worked for NBG Group as Group Treasurer, while from 1996 till 2003 he was responsible for the Derivatives Division of the bank. He worked at Credit Suisse First Boston in New York as a Trader with experience in foreign derivative products, interest rates and emerging market bonds. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Trinity College, University of Cambridge and an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance of the University of Pennsylvania. He is Member of the Strategy Committee of the Company.

Dimitrios Dimopoulos

Mr. Dimitrios G. Dimopoulos has served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Executive Member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. since June 26, 2014. Prior to this, he was General Manager of Corporate Banking at National Bank of Greece SA from 2008. He is a member of the Board of Directors of National-P&K Securities, Ethniki Leasing and NBG Factors, and represents National Bank of Greece at the Board of Directors of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the Central Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Finance. He joined the bank in 1975 and has served as Director of the Corporate Division. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Sciences from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom. He is Member of the Executive Committee of the Company. He was Member of the Strategy Committee of the Company until November 23, 2016.

Paul Mylonas

Mr. Paul K. Mylonas has served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Executive Member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. since June 26, 2014. Paul Mylonas was appointed Chief Risk Officer in December 2013. He is a Member of the Executive Committee since 2012 and of the ALCO Committee of the Group since 2000. In July 2012 he was appointed General Manager of Strategy and International Operations. From December 2010 until July 2012 he served as General Manager of Strategy and Governance. From April 2004 to December 2010 he was General Manager of Strategy and Research, Head of Investor Relations and Chief Economist of NBG Group, which he joined in 2000. He is Second Vice-Chairman of the BoD at Ethniki Insurance Co and serves on the Boards of Directors of: Finansbank A.S., Astir Palace Vouliagmenis SA, NBG Asset Management and National Securities., Moreover, he is a member of the Economic Advisory Board of the Hellenic Banks’ Association. From April 2004 to December 2010 he was General Manager of Strategy and Research and Chief Economist of the NBG Group, which he joined in 2000. From 1995 to 2000, he worked as Senior Economist in the Economics Department of the OECD, at the Money and Finance Division, and was head of the Greek and Spanish desks from 1997-2000. During 1999-2000 he served as the OECD representative at the G-10 Secretariat. During the years 1987-1995, he worked at the International Monetary Fund as Senior Economist, desk officer for Poland in the European Department, as well as in the Fund’s Policy Development and Review Department. In the years 1985-1987, he was visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics in Boston University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics-Economics from Brown University, as well as a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University. He was Member of the Strategy Committee of the Company until November 23, 2016.

Ioannis Kyriakopoulos

Mr. Ioannis P. Kyriakopoulos has served as Group Chief Financial Officer, General Manager of National Bank of Greece S.A. since September 2015. Ioannis Kyriakopoulos was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the NBG Group in September 2015. He is member of the Executive Committee and the ALCO. He worked at the Bank from 1977 until January 2012 when he joined the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund as its Chief Financial and Operating Officer. At the Bank he served as Deputy General Manager of International Activities from April 2011 to January 2012 and as Deputy Chief Financial Officer from April 2009 until April 2011 while from August 2002 to April 2009, he was the Director of the Financial and Management Accounting Division. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and a BSc in Economics from the University of Athens and an MSc in Statistics and Operational Research from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom.

Nikolaos Christodoulou

Mr. Nikolaos (Nikos) Christodoulou has served as General Manager, Group COO of National Bank of Greece S.A. since September 2016. He served as General Manager, Group Chief Information Officer of the Company between September 26, 2013 and September 2016. He joined NBG in November 2011 as Assistant General Manager, Group CIO. He is also a Member of the Senior Executive Committee. Before joining NBG, he was Partner at Accenture, the global consulting and technology firm, where he was heading the Management Consulting Unit in Greece. He was also heading the Financial Services Unit in Greece. He has served as member of the Board of ICAP SA and member of the Advisory Committee of Attica Ventures. He has been Chairman of the Greek Information Society Observatory for four years and Chairman of the Digital Aid SA for teo years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens, an MBA from Warwick Business School, UK and a PhD in Decision Systems from National Technical University of Athens. He has also worked as a Research Associate at INSEAD and at the National Technical University of Athens.

Panagiotis Dasmanoglou

Mr. Panagiotis (Panos) Dasmanoglou has served as General Manager - Group Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Governance Officer, Secretary of Board of Directors and Committees of National Bank of Greece S.A. since December 2016. In June 2015 he was appointed Assistant General Manager of Group Compliance and Corporate Governance, while previously, since September 2013 he served as Assistant General Manager of Group Compliance. In parallel, in January 28, 2014 he was elected Secretary of the Bank's Board of Directors and of its Committees. Since July 2009 he served as Director of the National Bank of Greece Group Compliance Division, where he was responsible for the Group's compliance with the legislative and regulatory framework. As part of the various executive-level positions he has assumed throughout his career as a lawyer at the National Bank of Greece Legal Services Division, he has handled significant matters relating to the integration of European banking legislation in the Bank's activities, domestic and international credit operations and M&A activity, thereby gaining substantial experience across a broad spectrum of banking operations. For a number of years, he has been an active participant in the workings of the Hellenic Bank Association and the European Banking Federation, specifically in the committees on international banking issues, compliance, consumer issues, anti-money laundering, derivatives and repos. Further, he serves as member on the Board of the Hellenic Ombudsman for Banking-Investment Services as well as on the boards of directors of NBG Group companies, namely NBG Securities S.A., Ethniki Factors S.A. and NBG Asset Management S.A. He holds a law degree (LL.B) from the University of Athens Law School and a postgraduate degree in European Law from Brussels University, while he has also studied banking management at INSEAD Graduate Business School. Additionally, he has received international certifications in the field of international financial law and Compliance in banking.

Alexander Benos

Dr. Alexander Benos has served as General Manager of Group Risk Management, Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of National Bank of Greece S.A. since April 2017. He was appointed Chief Risk Officer of NBG Group in June 2015. Since September 2013 he was Assistant General Manager for NBG Group Risk Management. He joined National Bank of Greece in 2000 as a Senior Risk Associate in charge of systems and models, Risk Analytics and Risk Architecture. Since 2010, he served as Director of NBG Group Risk Control and Architecture and as Deputy Head of the “Basel II” Project Program for NBG Group. Dr. Benos was an academic for over 13 years, first as Assistant and then as Associate Professor of the Department of Finance and Economics at the HEC School of Management, France (1993 – 2000) and, finally, as Assistant Professor in the Department of Financial Management and Banking of Piraeus University (2001 – 2006). He has served as a Board Member of the European Financial Management & Marketing Association (EFMA) for the period 1996-98 and is currently a member of the American Finance Association (AFA), the American Institute of Finance and Management (AIFM), and the French Finance association (AFFI). Dr. Benos holds a degree in Economic Sciences from Athens University, a B.A. and a M.A. in Economics from the University of Cambridge in the UK and a Ph.D. in Finance from the Graduate School of Business of Stanford University in the USA. He is Member of the Member of the Executive Committee of the Company.

Georgios Triantafillakis

Mr. Georgios Triantafillakis has served as General Manager of Legal Services of National Bank of Greece S.A. since April 2017. He was appointed Assistant General Manager of Legal Services in June 2015, responsible for the supervision and coordination of the activities of the Legal Services Division and external lawyers providing services to the Bank. Previously, since 2012 he held the position of Director of the National Bank of Greece Legal Services Division, while since 2006 he is Member of the Legal Council of the National Bank of Greece and since 2010 he is Member of the Legal Council of the Hellenic Bank Association. Since 1992 he is Attorney-at-law authorized to practice before the Supreme Court. During his long career at the National Bank of Greece Legal Services Division, he represented the Bank before high Courts, arbitration tribunals and Authorities, with respect to significant legal cases in Greece and in foreign jurisdictions, involving matters of banking law, criminal law, capital markets law, competition law, European and commercial law. Georgios Triantafillakis is Professor of Law at the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH) and Professor at the National School of Judges. He was member of the Competition Commission (for 10 years), and member of legislative committees and legal science societies. He has published monographs, academic writings, and a series of scientific studies in particular sectors of commercial law, while he has been elected Vice-chairman of the Board of the Association of Greek Commercialists. He is a graduate of the University of Athens Law School (with honors) and holds a doctoral degree in commercial law from Tubingen University. He is Member of the Executive Committee (without voting right).

Petros Fourtounis

Mr. Petros Fourtounis has served as Group Human Resources General Manager of National Bank of Greece S.A. since June 2015. Prior to this, he was General Manager of Corporate Special Assets at National Bank of Greece from January 28, 2014. Prior to this, he was General Manager and Group Chief Audit Executive of National Bank of Greece SA from September 26, 2013. He previously served as Assistant General Manager and Group Chief Audit Executive since July 2010. He is also a Member of the Disclosure and Transparency Committee. He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece and the Institute of Internal Auditors. He has been involved in the fields of audit, corporate - project financing and international credit. From 2002 to 2010, he held the position of Director in the NBG Divisions of Corporate Banking, Structured and International Finance and Group International Credit. In the time period 1984-1999 he worked as Internal Auditor for branches, administration units and subsidiaries of the bank in Greece and abroad. He joined NBG in 1975 and until 1984 he worked in the branch network of the bank. He has been a member of the Board of Directors or Executive Credit Committees of several NBG subsidiaries and he was actively involved in the due diligence procedures of foreign bank acquisitions by NBG. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Macedonia, Economic and Social Sciences.

Georgios Kaloritis

Mr. Georgios Kaloritis has served as General Manager of Internal Audit of the Bank and the Group of National Bank of Greece S.A. since April 2017. He was Assistant General Manager, Chief Audit Executive of the Company between January 28, 2014 and April 2017. He joined National Bank of Greece in 2006 as a Director of Internal Audit responsible for the areas of operations, compliance, information systems and several other support functions of the NBG Group. He was in charge of the project team responsible for the integration of NBG Group's Internal Audit Units, the development of a common methodology according to the IIA standards and the implementation of a fully integrated system (EGRC) for the automation of the audit activities. Before joining the NBG Group he served as the Corporate Security Officer at Eurobank (2003-2006) and as a Partner responsible for the Enterprise Risk Services at Deloitte Greece (1996-2003). He started his career in the United States of America where he served at various managerial positions at Price Waterhouse and AT&T (1990-1996). He holds an MBA degree in Executive Management from Saint Johns University of New York, an MA in Management Information Systems and a BA Degree in Computer Science and Economics as a second major from Queens College of the City University of New York. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He is currently the President of the Board of the Hellenic Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors and he also served as the Vice President of the Hellenic Chapter of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (2002-2004).

Dimitrios Kapotopoulos

Mr. Dimitrios Kapotopoulos has served as General Manager of Corporate Banking Division of National Bank of Greece S.A. since July 2015. He has under his supervision the Bank's Shipping Department and he has been appointed member of the Board of Directors of Ethniki Leasing. D. Kapotopoulos joined NBG in 1978, initially at the Branch Network. From 1982 until 1992 he served as credit analyst and has played a constructive role in setting up the Large Corporate Division of NBG in 1993; he was appointed Deputy Director of the Division in May 2008. Since October 2010 he was Director of the Structured and International Finance Division of NBG. Since February 2014 he served as Assistant General Manager of Corporate Special Assets at National Bank of Greece. D. Kapotopoulos holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has attended several business seminars and workshops in finance and in banking operations. He has been extensively involved in the fields of credit analysis, corporate banking and international credit. He is Member of the Executive Committee of the Company.

Marinis Stratopoulos

Mr. Marinis Stratopoulos has served as General Manager of International Activities of National Bank of Greece S.A. since February 20, 2014. He has also been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banca Romaneasca, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of NBG Leasing IFN, as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece (Cyprus) Ltd, as member of the Board of Directors of United Bulgarian Bank AD and he is elected as Deputy Chairman of Hellenic-Romanian Bilateral Chamber of Commerce. He started his career in banking in 1993 in Xiosbank and then served in several managerial positions in Piraeus Bank Group, Egnatia Bank Romania, Egnatia Bank, National Bank of Greece a.d. Beograd and as President of the Executive Board of Vojvodjanska since 2007. He also served as the Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banca Romaneasca since August 2010. In parallel to his banking career, he worked from 1993 to 2000 as a part time instructor in Accounting, Mathematics of Finance, Business Administration and Business Finance at the American College of Greece. He holds a Deck Officer Diploma from the Merchant Marine, a BSc in Business Administration from The American College of Greece and an MSc in Finance from Lancaster University.

Nelly Tzakou-Lambropoulou

Ms. Nelly Tzakou-Lambropoulou has served as General Manager of Retail Banking of National Bank of Greece S.A. since July 2013. She is also Member of the Executive Committee. Prior to this, she was appointed General Manager, Group Head of Operations, Business Processes and Information Technology at National Bank of Greece SA in December 2012. She previously served as General Manager, Group Head of Operations & Global Transaction Services since July 2007. She is responsible for the Group Operations, e-Business & Alternative Channels, Corporate Key Account Services and Group Head of the Global Transaction Services. She is Chairman of the Board at Ethniki Factors SA and Vice-Chairman of the Board of DIAS SA (Greek ACH), Ethnodata SA, Ethnoplan SA and National Securities SA. Moreover, she is a member of the Euro Banking Association (EBA – Paris) and SEPA High Level Meeting (ECB), a council member of EFMA Operational Excellence Advisory Council, as well as a member of Junior Achievement Greece. Before joining NBG Group, she worked at EFG Eurobank-Ergasias (1990-2007), where she held the position of General Manager, responsible for the Group Operations and the Global Transaction Services business unit. She was actively involved in bank acquisitions made by EFG Eurobank-Ergasias, both in Greece and abroad, as well as in the functional integration of the acquired banks. Her banking career started in 1982 when she joined Societe Generale (Athens branch), working in the field of MIS/Budget/Profitability. She was a member of the Board of Directors of EFG Eurobank Securities, EFG Asset Management, EFG e-Solutions, DIAS Inter-banking Systems and the Greek Securities Central Depository. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Piraeus and an MBA from the University of Wales & Manchester Business School.

Ioannis Vagionitis

Mr. Ioannis Vagionitis has served as General Manager - Chief Credit Officer of National Bank of Greece S.A. since April 2017. He was appointed Chief Credit Officer in July 2015. He is also member of the Board of Directors of Finansbank since January 2014 and member of the Risk Management Committee, the Audit Committee and the Credit Committee of Finansbank. From October 2010 up to November 2013 he was Head of Corporate Banking-Large Corporate Division of NBG. Additionally, he has served on the Board of Directors of NBG Factors. From May 2008 up to October 2010 he was Head of Credit Division and International Credit Division of NBG Group, while from October 2006 up to May 2008 he was Head of Credit Division of National Bank of Greece. He joined National Bank of Greece in 2004 under the Group Risk Management Division. During the period 1992-2003 he worked for HSBC, while during 2003-2004 he held executive level positions in the field of corporate banking at the Bank of Cyprus. He holds a BSc and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMUST) and an MBA from Manchester Business School.

Konstantinos Vosikas

Mr. Konstantinos Vosikas has served as General Manager of Corporate Special Assets of National Bank of Greece S.A. since April 2017. He was Assistant General Manager of Corporate Special Assets of the Company between July 2015 and April 2017. Prior to this, he was Chief Credit Risk Officer at National Bank of Greece SA from December 19, 2013. He joined NBG in 2005 as a Credit Risk Manager for Group Risk Management and subsequently as a Senior Credit Officer for Credit Division. Since 2010, he served as Director of NBG Group International Credit. He is a member of the Senior Credit Committee and Risk Management Council. He has been a member of Supervisory Boards of NBG Group International Subsidiaries and NBG Executive Credit Committees. Before joining NBG, during the period from 1994 to 2005, he worked in the Corporate Banking Departments of Midland Bank as a Credit Officer and Egnatia Bank, where he held the position of Head of Corporate and Investment Banking. During the period from 1990 to 1994 he worked in the audit departments of Moore Stephens and Arthur Andersen, participating in external and internal audits for companies operating in various sectors of the Greek economy, valuations, feasibility studies etc. Mr. Vossikas is a Certified Public Accountant, member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland, holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from DEREE - The American College of Greece and has participated in many seminars held in Greece and abroad.

George Frangou

Mr. George Frangou has served as Head of Group Real Estate, Deputy General Manager of National Bank of Greece S.A. since March 2014. From March 2000 to December 2013, he has held several management positions within Eurobank EFG Group, where he served as Finance & Administration Director of EFG e-Solutions (e-Banking, e-commerce b2c), head of Real Estate-Greece and later for the countries of Group Real Estate. During the period 1993 – 2000 he has held various managerial positions for Johnson & Johnson and METAXA SA. He has extensive experience in the areas of Real Estate, Operations & Project Management, Finance and IT; he has led reorganizations, with a long track record in leading teams, and setting-up new units and ventures in Greece and SE Europe (green field operations). George Frangou holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from California State University, Bakersfield (USA).

Vasileios Kavalos

Mr. Vasileios Kavalos has served as Assistant General Manager - Group Treasurer of National Bank of Greece S.A. since June 2015. He is also the Bank's Liaison to the Committee for Approval of Banking Transactions that oversees the enforcement of the Capital Controls Legislative Act, as well as the Chairman on the Bank's Subcommittee authorized for approving capital outflows for commercial purposes. From 2011 to 2015 he was the Corporate Treasurer with the primary task of ensuring the necessary liquidity and its efficient allocation within the Group while prior to that he was the Deputy Manager of trading since 2008. From 1999 until 2005, following the request of Ministry of Finance, he was detached to the Public Management Debt Agency where he participated in the instituting and operating of the Funding Department. In 1997 he became the Head of sovereign bond trading desk in the Group's Dealing Room, of which he was a staff member, through a selection process, since 1991. He joined the Group in 1981, after passing a public examination, and the following years he worked at the international trade and credit departments. He holds a BSc in Business Administration of DEREE - The American College of Greece and is a certified Portfolio Manager by Bank of Greece.

Ioanna Katzilieri-Zour

Ms. Ioanna Katzilieri-Zour has served as Assistant General Manager, Group Marketing and Communications of National Bank of Greece S.A. since December 2012. She previously served as Assistant General Manager Retail Banking since June 2006, responsible for Marketing, Strategic Marketing and Communication, as well as for the Client Service division. She is a member of the MasterCard Central Europe Customer Advisory Forum. Before joining NBG Group, she worked at EFG Eurobank-Ergasias Bank (2004-2006), where she held the position of Assistant General Manager, responsible for Strategic Marketing in Retail Banking. Prior to that, she served as Deputy General Manager at Millenium Bank, responsible for various divisions including Branch Network, Mortgage Lending, Alternative Channels and Marketing (1999-2004). She has also served as Marketing Director in Wind (1998-1999) and Pepsico-Ivi (1995-1998) and started her career working at Procter & Gamble in 1989. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Bristol and a Master’s of Science in Economics from London School of Economics (University of London). During her doctoral studies at Oxford University she worked as a Research Assistant at the Oxford Institute of Economics and Statistics and at the Oxford Energy Institute.

Konstantinos Bratos

Mr. Konstantinos Bratos has served as Assistant General Manager, Corporate Workout & Remedial Management of International Activities of National Bank of Greece S.A. since April 2016. He was Assistant General Manager of International Activities of the Company between December 19, 2013 and April 2016. Mr. Bratos has been the Chairman of NBG Malta Holdings Ltd and NBG Bank Malta Ltd since 2009, of Banka NBG Albania since 2012 and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of NBG Egypt and Stopanska Banka since 2012. He is also Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banca Romaneasca and Vojvodjanska and Board Member of UBB. From 2010 to 2012, he held the position of Executive Manager for Corporate & Business Banking at UBB. From 2005 to 2010 he was Manager of International Network Division A' at NBG. From 2002 to 2005 he held the position of Second General Manager at Stopanska Banka. From 1992 to 2002 he also served as Deputy Manager at the NBG branch in Boston and after that he became Manager at the NBG branches in Belgrade, Sofia and Bucharest. From 1984 to 1992 he worked in the Audit Division at NBG which he joined in 1975 and until 1984 he worked in the branch network of the Bank. Mr. Bratos holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Piraeus, as well as a MSc in Economic Management, specialization in Marketing Management from Bourgas Free University (Bulgaria).

Georgios Koutsoudakis

Mr. Georgios Dimitrios-Spiridon Koutsoudakis has served as Assistant General Manager of Corporate Banking of National Bank of Greece S.A. since January 29, 2014. Just before joining NBG during 2013 (between January and May) he was Advisor to the Management of Alpha Bank and from May onwards, he was Deputy Commissioner of Probank. During the period from 2007-2012 he worked at Emporiki Bank (Group Credit Agricole). From 2007 to 2009 he was Deputy General Manager of Corporate and Investment banking and from 2009 to 2012 he was General Manager, Head of Enterprises, Investment & Private Banking. During the period 2002-2007 he was Deputy General Manager at Geniki Bank (Group Societe Generale). Prior to that, he had worked in the field of investment banking for ETEBA (Group of NBG) 1996 2001 and Alpha Finance (Group of Alpha Bank) 1990-1996. He has held various positions on Boards of Directors, while currently he is Non-Executive Member on the Board of Directors of the Finans, Probank Leasing, Ethniki Factors & Apivita. Mr. Koutsoudakis holds a BSc Economics Honors Degree from Queen Mary College (University of London).

George Maligiannis

Mr. George Maligiannis has served as Assistant General Manager, Retail Collections of National Bank of Greece S.A. since April 2016. Prior to this, he was Assistant General Manager of Household Lending at National Bank of Greece SA from July 2013. He was responsible for Mortgage Credit, Consumer Finance and Credit Cards. Since November 2011, he held the position of the Director of Mortgage Credit Division of NBG. He has been with NBG since 1999 and has more than 30 years of banking experience. Before joining NBG Group, he worked for the Mortgage Bank of Greece in the IT Department, in the branch network and from 1989 to 1998 as a manager in the Vancouver Representative Office in Canada. Mr. Maligiannis is a graduate in Economics from the University of Athens and holds a Masters' Degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, Canada. He is also an Associate with the Institute of Canadian Bankers.

Vasileios Mastrokalos

Mr. Vasileios Mastrokalos has served as Assistant General Manager, Group Strategy of National Bank of Greece S.A. since June 2015. He started his professional carrier at NBG in February 1984. Initially, he worked at the branch network and from 1991 to 2008 at various Desks of NBG Treasury (FX, money markets, capital markets, derivatives), reaching to the position of Head of Trading. During the period 2009-2012 he served as Deputy Director General of the Public Debt Management Agency and from January 2013 till May 2015 he was Head of NBG Debt Issuance and Management Sector. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Athens and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Essex (UK).

Dimitrios Pavlineris

Mr. Dimitrios Pavlineris has served as Assistant General Manager, Branch Network of National Bank of Greece S.A. since April 2016. He joined National Bank of Greece in 1978. Since then he has worked at the Branch Network. He has extensive knowledge and experience in banking activities and in Managing Branches of all categories to the highest been. Being a Regional Manager responsible for a significant number of Branches, accomplished a lot, contributing to Bank's objectives achievement and policies and guidelines implementation. He holds a degree of the "Graduate School of Industrial Studies" of Piraeus (Piraeus Graduate School of Industrial Studies (ABSP)), a Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English and he is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece.

Vasileios Skiadiotis

Mr. Vasileios Skiadiotis has served as Assistant General Manager of Retail Banking of National Bank of Greece S.A. since June 2015. He joined the NBG Group in 1984 (following the Bank's public recruitment competition in 1983). Until 1991 he served at the branch network, where he held several positions. In 1991 he joined the Bank's General Division of Treasury and Global Markets, where he remained until 2015. From 2011-2015 he held the position of Head of the Global Markets Division, while from 2007-2011 he was Head of Treasury Sales Subdivision. From 1996-2007 he was Head of the Department responsible for designing and offering Treasury products to large corporate clients, while from 1991-1996 he worked as an FX dealer and treasury sales person. In 2004 he participated as a representative of the National Bank of Greece in the INSEAD Inter Alpha Banking Program. Mr. Skiadiotis holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and a postgraduate degree in Banking, while he is a Certified Portfolio Manager by the Bank of Greece.

Eva Cederbalk

Mrs. Eva Cederbalk has served as Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. since December 27, 2016. Ms. Cederbalk has her background in the financial sector. She has served as Chief Executive Officer of SBAB Bank, a Swedish retail bank 2004 – 2011. Prior to that she served as Chief Executive Officer of Netgiro International 2002 – 2003, Executive Vice President, responsible for e-business at If Skadeforsakring (Nordic Insurance company) and as Chief Executive Officer of DAIL Forsakring (insurance company). Ms. Cederbalk serves as a Member of the Board of Ikano Group S.A. since May 2012, Bilia AB since 2016 and Svolder AB since 2015. She has served as Chairman of the Board for Klarna AB 2009- 2016 and S:t Eriks Ogonsjukhus AB 2001-2006. She has served as Chairman of AB Sveriges Sakerstallda Obligationer (publ) (The Swedish Covered Bond Corp.) until December 2011. Ms. Cederbalk holds an M.Sc. in Economics from Handelshogskolan i Stockholm. She is Member of the Audit Committee of the Company.

Stavros Koukos

Mr. Stavros Anastasios Koukos has served as Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. since June 19, 2015. He holds a degree in Economics of the School of Higher Industrial Studies of Thessaloniki, (now University of Macedonia) from where he graduated in 1981. In 1973 he was recruited through competition in the National Bank of Greece. He is an active member of the National Bank of Greece Employees Union (SYETE) since his recruitment in NBG. He was elected member of the Administration Board of SYETE in 1982, Vice-President of SYETE from 1986 to 1994 and further on, President, continuously elected from 1994 until 2006. He has been member of the General Council of OTOE since 1982, and was elected President of OTOE, position that he holds until today since December 2006. He is also President of the Labour Institute of OTOE (INE/OTOE) since 2006, and International Relations Secretary of OTOE. He is also member of the General Council of GSEE from 2006 until today.

Panagiotis Leftheris

Mr. Panagiotis Leftheris has served as Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. since July 19, 2016. He was appointed Representative of the HFSF. At the same date, 19 July 2016, Mr. Leftheris was appointed as a member at the Risk Committee, member of the Audit Committee, member of the Strategy Committee, member of the Corporate Governance and Nominations Committee and member of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee.

Spyros Lorentziadis

Mr. Spyros L. Lorentziadis has served as Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. since November 2, 2016. He is an Economist with Risk and Financial Audit Experience. He holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and Political Science from Athens University Law School. He has served as Member of the Audit Committee, Member of the Risk Committee, and Member of the Strategy Committee of the Company since November 23, 2016.

Mike Aynsley

Mr. Mike Aynsley has served as Independent Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. since May 26, 2016. Mr. Mike Aynsley has been member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece since May 2016. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Dahabshiil Transfer Services ltd (UK) since May 2014 and is a founding partner and Senior Managing Director of Prospera Associates ltd, a management consulting company in the UK. Mr. Aynsley has been member of the Board, Chair of the Board Risk Committee, Member of Board Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees of Mitsubishi Ufj Securities International. He held the position of Group Chief Executive Officer at the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation limited – IBRC (formerly Anglo – Irish Bank) (2009-2013). From 2006 to 2009 he was Chief Executive Officer of Independent Risk Consultants, Australia where he led a number of high-level projects focusing on capital markets development and financial sector reform in Asian economies. Prior to that, he was Senior Executive on strategic and risk related areas and Chief Risk Officer at the Australian and New Zealand Banking Group (2005) and at ANZ Bank & National Bank of New Zealand (2004-2005) in New Zealand. Furthermore, he was a Global Partner in Banking and Financial Services at Deloitte Consulting (1999-2003) and Group General Manager, Global Wholesale Financial Services at the National Australia Bank (1992-1998). He holds an MBA and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Macquarie University, Australia. He is Member of the Audit Committee (as of June 29, 2016), Member of the Corporate Governance and Nomination Committee (as of July 19, 2016), Vice Chairman of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee (as of July 19, 2016), Chairman of the Risk Committee (as of July 19, 2016), and Member of the Strategy Committee (as of July 19, 2016) of the Company.

Panagiota Iplixian

Mrs. Panagiota S. Iplixian has served as Independent Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. since March 30, 2017. She serves as Representative of the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund. During the period 1972-1987, Ms. Iplixian worked for consulting firms. From 1987 until 2000 she worked for commercial banks in the United States and from 2000 until 2009 for EFG Eurobank Ergasias. From 2010 until 2012 she was a Non-Executive Independent Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund. From October 2011 until December 2013 she was Non-Executive Vice President of the Board of Directors of New Proton Bank, representing the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund. She has been a Member of the Board of Directors of Alpha Bank, representing the Hellenic Financial Stability Fund, from January 2014 until February 2017. She holds a BA in Business Administration and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and specialized in "Organization and Methods" at the British Institute of Administrative Management. She is Member of the Audit Committee, Member of the Corporate Governance and Nomination Committee, Member of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee, Member of the Risk Committee, and Member of the Strategy Committee of the Company.

Charalampos Makkas

Mr. Charalampos Athanasios (Haris) Makkas has served as Independent Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. since July 28, 2016. In the past, he also served as Member of the Board of Directors of the Company. Mr. Makkas started his banking career in NY in 1978, where he held several positions in the areas of Treasury Management, Investment Banking and Risk management until 1992. He returned to Greece in 1993, briefly joining National Bank of Greece as Global Treasurer before becoming Managing Director at Bank of America Athens for the next 7 years. Next he helped set up and ran the joint venture of ING Bank and Piraeus Bank in Asset Management until 2008, and for the following couple of years he joined a private equity fund in Switzerland. He has served on the boards of several companies in the public as well as the private sector. Mr. Makkas serves as member of the Board of Director of Helbio S.A. Mr. Makkas studied on various scholarships at Athens College (1971), Brandeis University in Boston (BA, 1975), and Columbia University in New York (MA, 1977 and M. Phil, 1978), and has taught econometrics and money and banking at several colleges. He is Alternate Member of the Audit Committee, Member of the Corporate Governance and Nomination Committee, Member of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee, Member of the Risk Committee, and Vice Chair of the Strategy Committee (as of November 23, 2016) of the Company. He was Member of the Audit Committee of the Company until November 23, 2016.

Marianne Okland

Mrs. Marianne Okland has served as Independent Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. since June 29, 2016. She has extensive international experience in the financial sector, especially in matters of finance and debt origination. She is Managing Director at AVISTA PARTNERS where she deals with debt advisory and capital raising. For a decade in the past she held important positions at J.P. Morgan, UK, particularly in the field of finance and debt origination. She was Responsible for issues of finance and debt origination (2007-2008), Responsible for the restructuring /debt transfer program, Line Manager for all Capital Market Analysts and Associates (2004-2007) and Responsible for finance and Debt origination issues for the Nordic region (Ranked No 1 capital originator, 2002-2007)(1998-2008). Previously, she had dealt with finance and debt origination issues in the Nordic region, Australasia and South Africa (1994-1998) while during the period 1993-1994 she was Chief of Staff at the Debt Capital Market Division at UNION BANK OF SWITZERLAND, UK. She serves as Non-Executive Director, member of the Audit and Regulatory/Environmental Compliance Committees at SCORPIO TANKERS. She is Non-Executive Director, member of the Audit Committee and Chair of the Risk Committee at Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation (IDFC-India). She holds a master's degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in the United Kingdom while she has attended a doctorate program in Economics/Finance in the same institution. She is Member of the Audit Committee (as of June 29, 2016), Chair of the Corporate Governance and Nomination Committee (as of July 19, 2016), Chair of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee (as of July 19, 2016), Vice Chair of the Risk Committee (as of July 19, 2016), and Member of the Strategy Committee (as of July 19, 2016) of the Company.

Claude Piret

Mr. Claude Edgard L. G. Piret has served as Independent Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. since November 2, 2016. Mr. Claude Piret has been member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece since November 2016. Mr. Piret possesses extensive experience in the international financial sector, having a career of over 35 years in international banking institutions. He has served in high-ranking positions for a number of years at Dexia Group, and has extensive experience in audit and in the areas of risk management and management of non-performing loans. Mr. Piret serves as Chairman of the Board at Dexia Israel Bank LTD since March 2017, while in the past he has served among others as Chief Risk Officer at Dexia Group. Mr. Piret holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Universite Catholique de Louvaine (Belgium), 1975, and a post-graduate degree in Management (Finance) from Universite Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) - Solvay Institute. He is Chairman of the Audit Committee (as of November 23, 2016), Vice Chair of the Corporate Governance and Nomination Committee (as of November 23, 2016), Member of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee (as of November 23, 2016), Member of the Risk Committee (as of November 23, 2016), and Member of the Strategy Committee (as of November 23, 2016) of the Company.

Petros Sampatakakis

Mr. Petros K. Sampatakakis has served as Independent Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of National Bank of Greece S.A. since January 14, 2010. He was Chief Risk Manager of Citigroup Inc. between 1999 and 2004. He was responsible for all the financial services company’s businesses, a Member of the Management Committee, and a Member of the Citicorp Board. From 1992 to 1997, he was in charge of the financial services subsidiaries of the American International Group, its treasury operations as well as the market and credit risk activities. He was Member of the Executive Committee and a C.V. Starr partner. Prior to that, he was the head of global Treasury and Capital Markets at JP Morgan Chase (formerly Chemical Bank), which he joined in 1973 in Economic Research. Among his positions at Chemical Bank were oversight of the international branches, foreign exchange and securities trading and the management of its funding and investments division. In addition, he had the responsibility for the management of the corporation’s overall interest rate risk and investment portfolios. He earned three degrees from Columbia University: Bachelor of Science, Masters of Business Administration and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Economics. He has been Chairman of Plan International and Child Reach, a Trustee of Athens College in Greece, and a Director Emeritus of the Gennadius Library. He is Vice Chairman of the Audit Committee (as of November 23, 2016), Member of the Corporate Governance and Nomination Committee, Member of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee (as of July 30, 2015), and Member of the Strategy Committee of the Company. He was Acting Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Company between June 29, 2016 and November 23, 2016.
