Biographies

Name Description

Peter Carlino

Mr. Peter M. Carlino is Chairman of the Board of the Company. Mr. Carlino has served as the Company's Chairman of the Board since April 1994 and served as the Company's Chief Executive Officer from 1994 until the Spin-Off on November 1, 2013, when he assumed the role of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of GLPI. Since 1976, he has also been President of Carlino Capital Management Corp., a holding company that owns and operates Carlino family businesses and oversees its investments, in which capacity he has been active in strategic planning and operations monitoring.

Jay Snowden

Mr. Jay A. Snowden serves as President, Chief Operating Officer of Penn National Gaming Inc. Mr. Snowden joined us in October 2011 as Senior Vice President-Regional Operations and in January 2014 became our Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Snowden is responsible for overseeing all of our operating businesses, as well as human resources, marketing, and information technology. Prior to joining us, Mr. Snowden was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Caesars and Harrah’s in Atlantic City, and prior to that, held various leadership positions with them in St. Louis, San Diego and Las Vegas.

Timothy Wilmott

Mr. Timothy J. Wilmott is Chief Executive Officer, Director of the Company. Mr. Wilmott joined the Company in February 2008 as President and Chief Operating Officer and was named Chief Executive Officer in November 2013. Mr. Wilmott served at Harrah's Entertainment (now Caesars Entertainment Corporation) from 1987 to 2008 and was Chief Operating Officer at Harrah's for approximately four years. In this position, he oversaw the operations of all of Harrah's revenue generating businesses, including 48 casinos, 38,000 hotel rooms and 300 restaurants.

William Fair

Mr. William J. Fair has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, Treasurer of the Company, In January 2014, Mr. Fair joined us as Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer. Previously, Mr. Fair worked in development leadership positions for Universal Studios and Disney Development. Most recently, Mr. Fair was the President and Chief Executive Officer of the American Skiing Company, where he had oversight of ten ski mountain resorts which included ski operations, nine hotels, condominium operations, food and beverage operations, retail and rental operations, real estate brokerage and development.

Carl Sottosanti

Mr. Carl Sottosanti is Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Penn National Gaming, In February 2014, Mr. Sottosanti was appointed to the position of Senior Vice President and General Counsel and became Secretary in November 2014. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Sottosanti served as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel since 2003. Before joining the Company, Mr. Sottosanti served for five years as General Counsel at publicly traded, Sanchez Computer Associates, Inc. and had oversight of all legal, compliance and intellectual property matters. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Sottosanti was the Assistant General Counsel for Salient 3 Communications, Inc., a publicly traded telecommunications company. Mr. Sottosanti began his legal career in 1989 with the Philadelphia law firm Schnader Harrison, Segal & Lewis LLP.

Nelson Parker

Mr. Nelson N. Parker is the Senior Vice President - Corporate Development of the Company. Nelson Parker joins Penn National from Hard Rock International, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President of Hotel & Casino Development. As a member of the Hard Rock development team since 2010, Mr. Parker oversaw commercial and tribal development activities, was responsible for securing gaming licenses in new domestic and international jurisdictions, and participated in several M&A transactions, all of which led to Hard Rock's property portfolio growth. From 2005 to 2010, he served in a variety of development roles at Foxwoods Resort Casino, including as Vice President of Development. In that role, he led all aspects of new commercial and tribal resort casino development and acquisition efforts for Foxwoods' growth initiatives. He also served from 2003 to 2005 at Argosy Gaming Company in several roles, including as Corporate Director of Development, and worked on the acquisition of the pari-mutuel property which has since become Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway. Prior to his involvement in gaming and lodging, Mr. Parker held senior level positions for several Midwestern private equity groups where he was involved in numerous acquisitions and participated as an active board member for multiple portfolio companies. He holds a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from Transylvania University. At Penn National, Mr. Parker will be responsible for corporate growth and development initiatives.

David Handler

Mr. David A. Handler is Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Handler joined Centerview Partners as a Partner. Centerview Partners is an independent financial advisory and private equity firm. From April 2006 to August 2008, he was a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank. In November 2013, Mr. Handler became a director of Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc.

John Jacquemin

Mr. John M. Jacquemin is an Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Jacquemin is President of Mooring Financial Corporation, a group of financial services companies founded by Mr. Jacquemin in 1982 that specializes in the purchase and administration of commercial loan portfolios.

Ronald Naples

Mr. Ronald J. Naples, is a Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Naples also serves as a director of P.H. Glatfelter Company, Glenmede Trust Company and the Philadelphia Contributionship. Mr. Naples served as Chairman of the Pennsylvania Stimulus Oversight Commission and Chief Accountability Officer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, having been appointed to that position by the Governor of Pennsylvania, from April 2009 until February 2011. From 1997 until May 2009, Mr. Naples was the Chairman of Quaker Chemical Corporation, a public specialty chemical company serving the metalworking and manufacturing industries worldwide, and served as Quaker's Chief Executive Officer from 1995 to 2008. Previously, Mr. Naples was Chairman and Chief Executive of Hunt Manufacturing Company, a public company, from 1981 to 1995. He also served as Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.

Jane Scaccetti

Ms. Jane Scaccetti, CPA., is Independent Director of the Company. Ms. Scaccetti is the Chief Executive Officer of Drucker & Scaccetti, P.C., a public accounting and business advisory firm, of which she has been a principal since 1990. Ms. Scaccetti also serves as a director of Myers Industries, Inc. and Mathematica Policy Research, Inc.; trustee of Temple University; Chair of the Board of Temple University Hospital; and a trustee of Salus University. In addition, Ms. Scaccetti served as a director of The Pep Boys – Manny, Moe & Jack from 2002 until 2016; and of Nutrition Management Services Company from 1992 until 2010.

Barbara Shattuck Kohn

Ms. Barbara Z. Shattuck Kohn is Independent Director of the Company. She is a Principal at Hammond Hanlon Camp LLC, a strategic advisory and investment banking firm. Prior to joining Hammond Hanlon Camp LLC in 2012, Ms. Shattuck Kohn was a Managing Director of Morgan Keegan – Raymond James. Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. was acquired by Raymond James Financial from Regions Financial Corp. and was the successor to Shattuck Hammond Partners, an investment banking firm Ms. Shattuck Kohn co-founded in 1993. Prior to 1993, she spent 11 years at Cain Brothers, Shattuck & Company, Inc., an investment banking firm she also co-founded. From 1976 to 1982, she was a Vice President of Goldman, Sachs & Co. Ms. Shattuck Kohn began her career as a municipal bond analyst at Standard & Poor's Corporation.
