Name Description

Kamal Bahrin Bin Ahmad

Encik Kamal Bahrin Bin Ahmad has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Executive Director of the Company effective 01 Jun 2017. He was Senior General Manager of Plant Operations Division. He graduated Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Texas at Austin, USA. He joined PETRONAS as a Project Engineer in Refining Sector and was involved in the commissioning of the Kerteh Refinery Reformer Project. In 1990, Kamal Bahrin joined PETRONAS Penapisan Melaka Sdn Bhd (PPMSB) and spent the next fourteen years performing various critical functions within the refinery, including the commissioning of Phase 1 & 2 of the Melaka Refinery. In 2003, he was promoted to the position of General Manager (Production) at PPMSB and two years later, mobilized to PETRONAS Gas Bhd (PGB) as the Senior General Manager, Plant Operation Division. In 2008, he won the PETRONAS HSE Personality (Management Category) during the PETRONAS HSE Forum and in 2009, he was given the opportunity to be exposed to upstream business, being appointed as the Senior General Manager, Development Division where he managed drilling activities and projects for both domestic and international blocks. Two years later, he was appointed as the Head, Project Management & Delivery, a newly formed division in T&E, and was tasked to lead the feasibility studies, Front End Engineering and project execution of various PETRONAS Downstream major projects like RAPID, SAMUR and SOGT. In 2011, he was given international exposure and mobilized to Engen to lead the transformation of the refinery, which was faced with challenges of substandard HSE and reliability performance.

Shariza Sharis Binti Mohd Yusof

Puan Shariza Sharis Binti Mohd Yusof has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective 01 Sep 2017. She Holds Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics & Accounting from University Of Bristol, United Kingdom. Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Upon completing her professional qualification with Wenham Major Chartered Accountants in United Kingdom, she joined PETRONAS in 2001 as an Executive in PETRONAS Corporate Finance where she was involved in PETRONAS global bond issuance and funding of several PETRONAS subsidiaries. A year later, she was assigned to PETRONAS President/CEOs Office as an analyst before being promoted to Financial Accounting Manager, PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad in 2005. In 2007, she was seconded to Dragon LNG, a PETRONAS joint venture in United Kingdom, as Head of Finance & Administration. Upon her return to Malaysia in 2008, she was appointed as Senior Manager Strategic Planning (Corporate and Americas) at PETRONAS Group Strategic Planning where she was involved in several PETRONAS corporate strategy exercises and portfolio reviews. She joined PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG) in 2011 as Head of Group Accounts and Performance Planning and assumed her current position as Financial Controller in 2012.

Irwan Bin Abdul Latif

Mr. Irwan Bin Abdul Latif is Chief Executive Officer of Kimanis Power Sdn Bhd subsidiary of Petronas Gas Berhad. He graduated with a Bachelor in Petroleum Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor in 1997. His career in PGB spans over 18 years in Gas Processing and Utilities Business, covering plant technical and operations areas. He started his career in 1997 as the first batch of Process Supervisor in Operation Department of Gas Processing Santong in Paka, Terengganu. From 1997 to 2010, he progressed to hold managerial position in Operation Department and then as Asset Manager at Utilities Kertih, Terengganu, before being appointed as the Head of Central Engineering Department in 2013. In 2014, Irwan assumed the position of Head of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Operational Excellence (OE) of PGB, where he is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure sustainable plant operational performance. He is also responsible for effective implementation of HSE Policy and assurance framework within the PGB Group.

Barishah Binti Md Hanipah

Ms. Barishah Binti Md Hanipah is Head of Human Resource Management Division of Petronas Gas Berhad since March 2013. She graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor in Business Administration (Cum Laude) from the University of Toledo, Ohio, United States of America. She began her career with PETRONAS in February 1988 as an Executive at the Education Sponsorship. She then held various positions within HRM of PETRONAS from 1991 to 2004 in the areas of remunerations, people development and capability development. In January 2005, she was assigned as Manager (HR Planning) in PGB. Subsequently, in 2006 she took on the role of Manager, HRM in PETRONAS Chemicals Fertiliser (Kedah) Sdn Bhd. In December 2011, she was appointed as Manager of Sponsorship and Talent Sourcing at Talent Sourcing and Employee Relations Department, HRM Division, PETRONAS. Among her major accomplishments during her 28 years of service include the implementation of HRIS/SAP System and the outsourcing of medical administration for PETRONAS, the decentralisation of talent sourcing initiative as well as recruitment brand enhancement initiatives. She is currently responsible for HRM of PGB. Barishah is also the joint secretary of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of PGB.

Burhan Abdullah

Mr. Burhan Abdullah is Head - Gas Transmission and Regasification Division of the company. He is Responsible for the overall management and operations of Gas Transmission and Regasification facilities by ensuring safe, optimum and efficient pipeline network and regasification operations. Ensure delivery of gas which satisfy PETRONAS’ customers requirements as well as achieving optimum gas value chain for PETRONAS. Ensure compliance with regulations and statutory requirements. He Started his career in 1991 as Operation Engineer at PETRONAS Penapisan (Terengganu) Sdn Bhd (PP(T)SB). Part of commissioning team to commission PETRONAS 1st Ethylene Cracker, Ethylene Malaysia Sdn Bhd in 1996. Served as Shift Supervisor and later as Utilities Offsite and Process Manager from 1997 to 2006. Subsequently, served as Senior Operation Managers, Gas Processing Kertih and later on to Gas Processing Santong from 2007 until 2013. Appointed as Vice President Operations, Trans-Thai Malaysia (Thailand) Ltd (TTMT) in 2014 until 2016.

Mohd Kabir Bin Noordin

Mr. Mohd Kabir Bin Noordin is Head of Gas Processing and Utilities Division of Petronas Gas Berhad since July 1, 2015. He holds a Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Leeds, United Kingdom. His career in PETRONAS began in 1991 as a member of Production Technology at PETRONAS Penapisan (Terengganu) Sdn Bhd. Then he moved to PETRONAS Penapisan (Melaka) Sdn Bhd (PPMSB) in 1993 until 1998 as a Production Specialist. Mohd Kabir then went on a two-year full scholarship under PETRONAS’ Staff Development Programme where he pursued his study in Chemical Engineering at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. Upon returning to Malaysia in 2000, he had a short stint at PETRONAS’ Human Resource Management as an Executive. Soon afterwards, he rejoined PPMSB as a Manager of Production Department and held various positions for about 10 years, until he became the General Manager of Production. Later in 2011, Mohd Kabir was appointed as the General Manager of Operations at Malaysia LNG Sdn Bhd. He then moved to PGB, where he was entrusted to be the Head of Gas Processing and Utilities Division in July 2015 until now. He is also a Director of Industrial Gases Solutions Sdn Bhd.

Abdul Razak Bin Saim

Mr. Abdul Razak Bin Saim is Head of Business Development and Commercial Division of Petronas Gas Berhad since February 2013. He holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) from the University of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia. Abdul Razak has been in the gas industry for the past 24 years. He began his career as a Procurement Executive in PGB Transmission Operation Division (currently known as Gas Transmission and Regasification) in 1992. He later held various technical positions within PGB. In 2002, Abdul Razak was seconded to East Australia Pipeline Marketing Pty Ltd based in Sydney, where he managed the capacity marketing for the 3,000 km Moomba-Sydney gas pipeline. He was also involved in the development of the Papua New Guinea–Queensland pipeline project. He was then appointed as the Manager for Gas Supply Planning at Gas Business Unit, PETRONAS in 2006 and headed the department from 2008 until 2011. He later led the Gas Business Development Department before joining PGB in 2013. Abdul Razak is currently responsible for all commercial and corporate services for PGB. He is the Chairman of Industrial Gases Solutions Sdn Bhd as well as a Director of Regas Terminal (Lahad Datu) Sdn Bhd and Gas District Cooling (UTP) Sdn Bhd and Alternate Director on the Board of Pengerang LNG (Two) Sdn Bhd. He was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer and Board member of Bekalan Air KIPC Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of PETRONAS. He is Director at Transasia Pipeline Company Pty Ltd.

Intan Shafinas Binti Hussain

Ms. Intan Shafinas (Tuty) Binti Hussain is Head of Legal and Corporate Secretariat Division, Company Secretary of Petronas Gas Berhad since March 1, 2012. She holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom and Certificate in Legal Practice (Legal Profession Qualifying Board, Malaysia). She is also a licensed Company Secretary. Prior to joining PETRONAS, Intan Shafinas had garnered five years of experience, having worked at several banks. Her career in PETRONAS started in 2001 as Legal Executive with the Petrochemical Business. In 2007, she was attached to the Corporate Services and Technology Department, Legal Division, providing legal advisory services in the area of intellectual property and commercialisation of technologies. Then in 2010, Intan Shafinas was appointed as PETRONAS Senior Legal Counsel of Corporate Services. After a one-year stint, she joined PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad in 2011. A year later in March 2012, she was appointed as the Senior Manager of Legal and Corporate Secretariat Department, PETRONAS Gas Berhad. She is currently the Company Secretary, as well as Senior Legal Counsel, Infrastructure and Utilities, PETRONAS Legal Downstream, responsible for all legal affairs and company secretarial services of the Group. In addition, she is the Company Secretary for Regas Terminal (Sg. Mohd Anuar Bin Taib

Datuk Mohd Anuar Bin Taib is Non-Independent and Non Executive Director of the Company, effective January 01, 2017. Datuk Anuar holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, United States and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in International Management from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University, Melbourne, Australia. Datuk Anuar Taib is the Executive Vice President and CEO of Upstream, PETRONAS, which integrates the Exploration & Production and LNG businesses globally. He joined PETRONAS in 2012 as CEO of PETRONAS Development and Production (PDP), responsible for both its Malaysia and International operations. He then advanced as the Senior Vice President of PETRONAS Upstream Malaysia. He started his career in 1990 as a Wellsite Drilling Engineer with an international oil & gas company. He then progressed through various technical, commercial and leadership positions and in country, regional and global roles.

Shamilah Binti Wan Muhammad Saidi

Ms. Shamilah Binti Wan Muhammad Saidi is Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of Petronas Gas Bhd. with effect from September 1, 2016. She was General Manager of Finance Division from September 2004 to 2007. She holds a degree in Economics and Accounting from University of Bristol, UK. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She joined PETRONAS in October 1993 as a Finance Executive in PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd. From 1995 to 1998, she worked for Morison Stoneham, a firm of Chartered Accountants in England. She rejoined PETRONAS in 1998 as a Manager in Group Finance of PETRONAS. Between 2000 and 2004, she was the Manager in Business Development Unit of PETRONAS where she was primarily responsible for the mergers and acquisition activities of PETRONAS. In the ensuing years, she was the General Manager of Finance of PETRONAS Gas Berhad, a listed subsidiary of PETRONAS and General Manager of Finance of Malaysia LNG Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of PETRONAS. At these positions, she was responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of the respective companies. From April 2009 to July 2010, she was the Senior General Manager, Crude Oil Group of PETRONAS where she was responsible for the global marketing and trading of crude oil for PETRONAS. She then joined PETRONAS Chemicals Group in August 2010 as Chief Financial Officer and was involved the successful listing of PETRONAS Chemicals Group in Nov 2010.

Emeliana Oxley

Ms. Emeliana Dallan Rice Oxley is Non-Independent Non-Executive Director at Petronas Gas Berhad since September 1, 2016. She holds Degree in Geology from the University of South Carolina, USA. She started her career in Shell more than 20 years ago, specialising in biostratigraphy. She had since expanded her role and led numerous regional geological studies, prospect maturation, exploration & appraisal drilling and development activities in Malaysia, Central North Sea and the pre-salt plays in the Santos & Campos Basins, in Brazil. As the Exploration and Portfolio Planning Manager for Asia Pacific region, she led the exploration portfolio and annual planning activities for Shells Asia Pacific ventures, including the integrated exploration-development business assurance. In 2010, she took on the role of HC Maturation Manager for Onshore US and Latin America, based in Houston, where she worked on unconventional resources in these regions. She also successfully led a 6-week Focused Result Delivery project - an important and complex project to reshape the future of Shell Malaysia E&P. She joined PETRONAS in June 2012. As Vice President of Exploration Malaysia, she is responsible to formulate and determine the short & long term exploration strategy in order to deliver and support PETRONAS growth and Corporate Agenda. She led various initiatives to sustain and grow exploration activities in Malaysia such as accelerating the monetization of the gas-rich resources in East Malaysia (Beyond Train 9), seek new hydrocarbon resources in existing and new frontier plays in Ultra Deepwater Sabah, through Play Based Exploration and accelerate the monetization of discovered resources through Early Exploration-Development Integration the latter two, breaking PSC and organizational boundaries between divisions. In April 2016, she was appointed as the Vice President of PETRONAS Exploration to successfully deliver PETRONAS growth strategy through organic growth in Malaysia and International ventures.

Ab. Halim bin Mohyiddin

Dato' Ab. Halim bin Mohyiddin is Independent Non-Executive Director of Petronas Gas Berhad since August 4, 2011. He graduated with a Bachelor of Economics in Accounting from the University of Malaya in 1971, following which he joined the Faculty of Economics of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Bangi, Selangor as a Faculty member. He obtained his Master of Business Administration from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1973 and subsequently a Diploma in Accountancy from the University of Malaya in 1975. Dato’ Ab. Halim is a Council Member of The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He also sits as the Chairman of the Education and Training Committee MICPA. He is a past member of the Education Committee of the International Federation of Accountants and represented Malaysia in the Committee from 2001 to 2005. He joined KPMG/KPMG Desa Megat & Co in 1977 and had his early accounting training in both Malaysia and the United States of America. He was made a Partner of KPMG in 1985. During his 17-year tenure as a partner, he has held various designations in KPMG and acted as a receiver and manager and liquidator for several companies. At the time of his retirement on 1 October 2001, he was the Partner in Charge of the Assurance and Financial Advisory Services Division and was also looking after the firm’s Secured e-Commerce Practice. He is Chairman at MISC Berhad, Amway (Malaysia) Holdings Berhad and KNM Group Berhad.

Habibah binti Abdul

Ms. Habibah binti Abdul is Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of Petronas Gas Bhd since February 24, 2016, after being its Independent Non-Executive Director since September 13, 2013. She graduated with a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) from the University of Malaya. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants and Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She has 35 years of experience in providing audit and business advisory services to several large public listed, multinational and local corporations. Habibah was a formerly the Group Partner of The Audit & Business Advisory Division in Ernst & Young, and a member of the Securities Commission from 1999 to 2002. She is Director at KLCC Property Holdings Berhad and CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad, a non-listed public company.

Heyok Chiang Heng

Encik Heng Heyok Chiang @ Heng Hock Cheng is Non-Executive Independent Director of Petronas Gas Berhad since January 1, 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom in 1972. He retired from Shell in October 2006 after 34 years of service, spanning Upstream, Downstream and Gas & Power divisions. He had served with various Shell entities in Malaysia, United Kingdom, Holland and China, holding positions, amongst others, as Technical Director of Sarawak Shell Berhad/Sabah Shell Petroleum Co.
