Name Description

Roberto Colaninno

Mr. Roberto Colaninno has been Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Piaggio & C. S.p.A. since November 13, 2006. Prior to his appointment, he served as Chairman of the Board of the Company from October 2003 to November 13, 2006. He is in charge of Internal Control within the Company. He is Chairman of IMMSI SpA, the company that controls the Piaggio Group. He is Chairman of Alitalia-Compagnia Aerea Italiana. After his early experience in Italian auto components maker Fiaam, of which he became Chief Executive Officer, in 1981 he founded the Sogefi. In September 1996, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Olivetti. Olivetti acquired approximately 51% of Telecom Italia and he was appointed Chairman and Chief Executive of the company, as well as Chairman of TIM, holding these posts until July 31, 2001. In September 1998 he established Omniaholding SpA, the family-owned financial company of which he is Chairman. In September 2002 he joined other partners to form Omniainvest SpA. In November 2002, through Omniaholding and Omniainvest, he acquired IMMSI SpA, a stock-listed real estate holding company. Beginning in February 2003, IMMSI acquired shareholdings in industrial and services companies notably control of the Piaggio Group, the Rodriquez Cantieri Navali Group and the Aprilia Group. In 2008 IMMSI SpA was one of the founders of CAI (Compagnia Aerea Italiana), the company that acquired the Alitalia and Airone airlines and of which he is Chairman. He has been Member of the Confindustria Management Committee since 2005. In 2001 he was awarded an honorary degree in Business Economics from the Universita degli Studi di Lecce.

Matteo Colaninno

Mr. Matteo Colaninno serves as Non-Executive Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Piaggio & C. S.p.A. since October 2003. He has also served in the following positions in the following associations: at Gruppo Giovani Industriali di Mantova as President from 1997 to 2001; at Associazione degli Industriali di Mantova as Vice President from 1997 to 2001; at Giovani Imprenditori di Confindustria as national Vice President between 2002 and 2005 and Vice President at European Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs. He was President of the Giovani Imprenditori and Vice President of Confindustria from 2005 to 2008 and Member of the Board of Directors of Il Sole 24 ore SpA. From 2001 to 2008, he was Vice Chairman of Banca Popolare di Mantova. He started his career in 1996 at Sogefi Group and he then gained a experience joining the Olivetti team that worked on the take-over of Telecom Italia. Since 1999, he has been developing the industrial and financial operations relating to Omniaholding SpA, of which he has become Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He is also Member of the Board of Directors of IMMSI SpA and Omniainvest SpA. On April 14, 2008, he was elected to Italian Parliament as Member of the Chamber of Deputies and is in charge of Industrial Development and Finance Enterprise of the Italian Democratic Party.

Simone Montanari

Mr. Simone Montanari serves as Chief Financial Officer of PIAGGIO & C. S.P.A. since March 1, 2017. In 2005 he joined the Piaggio Group where he served, for over ten years until 2014, roles of increasing responsibility in the finance field from Investor Relator to CFO of the Asian area, concluding with Group Planning and Control. Before re-entering into the Piaggio Group, he worked as Administration, Planning & Control Director in a leading international company active in the online luxury fashion retail business. He graduated in IT Engineering, began his career in McKinsey.

Ravinder Chopra

Mr. Ravinder Chopra serves as Chairman and Managing Director of Piaggio Vehicles Private Ltd, a subsidiary of Piaggio & C. S.p.A. since April 1998. He holds a degree in Science and Engineering and attended Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He joined Piaggio in April 1998. Before joining Piaggio, he gained three decades of experience with brand leading companies mainly in the automotive industry. He started his career with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. as Market Analyst in 1965. From 1970 to 1973 he was Division Purchasing Manager at Escorts Ltd.; from 1973 to 1984 he was Commercial Manager and Deputy CEO at Greaves Lombardini Ltd. with responsibilities encompassing project management, material management, quality assurance, production planning and control, personnel management and industrial relations. He served as General Manager at Jaya Hind Industries Ltd. from 1984 to 1987 and at Indian Card Clothing Co. Ltd. from 1987 to 1989. He joined Greaves Limited in 1989 where he served as General Manager of the Group until 1998 and then as Vice President from 1992 to 1995, when he was appointed Executive Vice President. Since April 1998 he has held the position of Managing Director of Piaggio Vehicles Private Ltd, and lately appointed also Chairman of Piaggio Vehicles Private Ltd.

Mario Di Maria

Mr. Mario Di Maria serves as Chairman and CEO Piaggio Group Americas at Piaggio & C. S.p.A. since July 2014. He began his professional career with Nissan in 1996 as Area Manager. In 2001 he joined BMW developing significant experiences in Sales in the role of Field Operating Manager. He joined Fiat Group in 2004 where he held various positions with increasing responsibilities as Country Manager UK for Alfa Romeo brand, Europe Regional Director and Project Leader for China and US markets. In 2007 he joined Piaggio Group filling several positions with increasing responsibilities both in the 2 Wheelers and in the 3 – 4 Wheelers. From 2009 to 2013 he was Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing Piaggio Asia Pacific 2 Wheeler. In 2013 he was Executive Vice President Sales of API – IP.

Diego Graffi

Mr. Diego Graffi serves as Chief Executive Officer of Piaggio Vehicles PVT Ltd, a subsidiary of PIAGGIO & C. S.P.A. since June 12, 2017. From 2000 has worked in Fiat Group purchasing field, eventually appointed Commodity Manager. In 2005 he joined Moto Guzzi S.p.A. as Head of Purchasing. In 2006 he joined Piaggio Group as Head of Vehicles Purchasing with increasing responsibility till he became Head of Group Materials and Components Purchasing. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering.

Davide Zanolini

Mr. Davide Zanolini serves as Executive Vice President Marketing and Communication of PIAGGIO & C. S.P.A. since November 2013. He graduated in Business Administration & Management at Universita Bocconi in 1993, he attended a Master in Digital Marketing at Harvard Business School. His professional career began in 1995 in the Marketing Department of the Pernod Ricard Group in Milan as Brand Manager. In 1998 he joined Perfetti Van Melle as Group Brand Manager and he continued with increasing responsibility such as Sales and Marketing Director in Brazil from 2002 to 2007 and Global Marketing Director from 2007 to 2012. From 2012 to 2013 he was in Pirelli as Vice President Global Marketing.

Giancarlo Milianti

Mr. Giancarlo Milianti serves as Executive Vice President Human Resources and Organization of Piaggio & C. S.p.A. since April 2009. He began his career in the pharmaceutical industry. From 1996 to 2000, he was Official at Unione Industriale Pisana - Confindustria operating in the Labour Services area with tasks encompassing labour relations, training, organizational consultancy and human resources management; he was the association's representative serving on several committees at a Provincial or Regional level and in national delegations. In 2000, he joined Marconi Communications SpA (Marconi PLC Group) and filled several positions with increasing responsibilities until 2005, more specifically: Industrial Relations Manager, Personnel Administration Manager, HR Business Partner, Factory Personnel Manager. When the Marconi Group was acquired by Ericsson in 2005, he began his experience with the Swedish multinational and was eventually appointed Human Resources Head of the Opto Division with units and plants in Italy (Genoa, Latina, Naples, Caserta) and in the United Kingdom (Coventry) and Personnel Manager of Marconi Sud SpA. He holds a degree in Law.

Antonio Cappellini

Mr. Antonio Cappellini serves as Executive Vice President 2 Wheeler Product Development of PIAGGIO & C. S.P.A. since November 2016. He began his professional career in 1991 in Piaggio Group where he entered in the R&D department. In 1999, he entered in VM Motori as Engine Design Responsible. In 2001 he joined Fiat-GM powertrain where took care of the development of various types of engine. In 2005, he continued his experience in powertrain research and development inside Fiat Powertrain Technologies where he fulfilled different roles with higher responsibilities such as Diesel Engines Design Responsible from 2006 to 2008, Passenger Cars and Light duty Vehicles Diesel Platforms Responsible from 2008 to 2009 and Platform Manager Cursor Engines starting from 2009. In 2012, he had the responsibility of designing and developing the energy efficiency of all vehicles in Iveco. In 2013, he rejoined Piaggio Group as Head of Powertrain COC. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Universita degli Studi di Pisa.

Maurizio Carletti

Mr. Maurizio Carletti seves as Executive Vice President - 2 Wheeler Italy & EMEA Market at Piaggio & C. S.p.A. since October 2014. He began his professional career in 1985 at Apple Computer Spa as Area Manager, gaining since the beginning of his career significant experiences in sales and holding increasing responsibilities like Sales Director. In 1994 he joined Buffetti Group as Sales Director, a role that he held until 2004. During these years he works for two years (1998-1999) in TIM as Sales Director. In the same year (2004) he joined Piaggio Group as Head of Corporate Business and Italy Market and in 2009 he was appointed Head of Sales Italy Market.

Carlo Coppola

Mr. Carlo Coppola serves as Executive Vice President, Manufacturing Technologies Executive Vice President, EMEA Plants at Piaggio & C. S.p.A. since November 2009. He has also responsibility for EMEA Plants of the Company. He joined the Company in April 1996. He started in the factory and covered increasingly important posts. In 1976, he was hired by Gilardini Whitehead Division (Underwater Defence Systems) as Detail Designer and went on to fill various positions with increasing responsibilities (Manufacturing Manager and subsequently Logistics Manager). From 1990 to 1996, he was Manufacturing Manager at Magneti Marelli Motofides Division. In 1996, he started his career at Piaggio; he started as Manager of the Traditional Engines plant and shortly after of the Spheroidal Engines plant. In 1997, he became Manufacturing Manager. From May 2005 he has been serving as Operations Manager and is responsible for six plants, as well as of the Process and Maintenance Technologies, Utilities, Suppliers' Quality and Factor Usage areas.

Mr. Gianluca Fiume serves as Chairman and General Manager of Piaggio Vietnam, Executive Vice President Asia Pacifc 2 Wheeler, China of PIAGGIO & C. S.P.A. since April 21, 2017. In 2008 he joined Piaggio Group as Head of 2W Domestic Europe.

Daniele Pinna

Mr. Daniele Pinna serves as Executive Vice President of Business Unit Aftersales of PIAGGIO & C. S.P.A. since June 2017. He began his professional career in marketing and commercial area of international Groups of food & beverage and automotive business, including Pernod Ricard, Nestlè and Fiamm. In 2007 he joined Fiat Group working in aftersales area until becoming in 2012 Head of Marketing EMEA of Mopar Parts & Service after an experience in Amplifon as Italy Marketing & Product Director. From 2014 he joined Piaggio Group as Head of Retail Strategy & Accessories. He graduated in Business Administration from Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi.

Vincenzo Scardigno

Mr. Vincenzo Scardigno serves as Executive Vice President - 3-4 Wheeler EMEA and Emerging Markets at Piaggio & C. S.p.A. since October 2014. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1998, he began his professional career in 1989 in Iveco Spa, gaining significant experiences in sales, holding different positions with increasing responsibilities like Area Manager and Business Development Manager. In 1999 he was appointed Sales Director Light Commercial Vehicles, a role that he held until 2003. From 2004 to 2005 he was CEO of Officine Brennero SpA, an Iveco dealer for Trento and Verona area. In 2005 he joined again Iveco as General Manager Middle East & Africa Area. In 2009 he joined Piaggio Group as Head of 3-4 Wheeler Market EMEA/ CIS.

Raffaele Lupotto

Ulisse Spada

Mr. Ulisse Spada serves as General Counsel, Member of the Supervisory Board at Piaggio & C. S.p.A. since April 2009. He began his professional career in 1992 with Ing. C. Olivetti & C, assuming roles of increasing responsibility in the Legal Affairs Department. After the acquisition of Ing. C. Olivetti & C. by Telecom Italia in 2003, in 2004, he was appointed Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs of Olivetti SpA, which was controlled by Telecom Italia. This was a position he would keep until he left the Telecom Italia Group in 2008. After a brief period as Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs for Inticom SpA, he joined the Piaggio Group in April 2009. He graduated in Law and is Accredited Lawyer.

Mr. Leo Francesco Mercanti serves as Executive Vice President 2 Wheeler Product Marketing at Piaggio & C. S.p.A. since 2012. He joined Aprilia S.p.A. in 1982 with the role of Sales Manager and he took on various positions in Marketing & Sales department with increasing responsibilities such as General Manager of Aprilia Group. He continued his career within Piaggio Group reaching important positions such as Managing Director of Nacional Motor S.A.U. – Derbi and Head of Product Development & Racing.

In 2010 he was called Prelios S.p.A. (Formerly Pirelli Real Estate, a leading real estate services company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange) to monitor communication with the media and over time takes on roles with increasing responsibilities until the appointment of the Head of Media Relations. In 2015 he joined the Piaggio Group in the Press Office of the Group. He holds degree in Public Relations and Advertising from the Universita IULM Milano.

Mr. Massimo Rodolfo Repetto serves as Executive Vice President 3-4 Wheeler Product Development and Strategies at Piaggio & C. S.p.A. since March 2014. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Universita degli Studi di Genova, his professional career began at R&D department of Iveco in 1987 and he worked in various positions such as Product Chief Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering and he gained extremely significant experiences with Light and Medium Commercial Vehicles as Head of Product Development Platform. He joined Piaggio Group in 2013 as Head of 3-4 Wheeler Vehicles Technical Center.

Mr. Maurizio Strozzi serves as Chief Audit Executive, Chief Executive Officer of Immsi Audit of Piaggio & C. S.p.A. His professional course began at the Internal Auditing of the Olivetti Group in 1988, and after having been filled positions with increasing responsibilities in such company, he became Manager of the same in 1995. In 1998, he became Manager of the Internal Auditing of Albacom. He was also Member of its Ethic Committee by promoting the wide spreading of the Behavior Code. From 2005 to 2008, he continued his carrier in the Rodriguez Group as Manager of the Internal Auditing and then as Manager of the Administration, Procedure and Informative Systems function. Since December 2008, he has worked as Managing Director of the Immsi Audit SC a RL. Mr. Michele Colaninno serves as Non-Executive Director of Piaggio & C. S.p.A. since August 28, 2006. He also serves as Member of the Nominating Committee of the Company. He is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Omniaholding SpA, a family company that controls Immsi SpA, a financial, real estate and financial holding company. He is CEO and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Immsi Group, which controls the Piaggio Group and has shareholdings in a number of Italian industrial groups.
