UPDATE 2-Travelers ordered to pay over $500 mln in asbestos case

NEW YORK, July 22 - A federal appeals court ordered Travelers Cos Inc to pay more than $500 million to thousands of asbestos victims in a case stemming from the insurer's coverage of Johns-Manville Corp, an insulation maker that spent six years in bankruptcy during the 1980s.
