UPDATE 1-Safaricom bond first tranche 50 pct oversubscribed
NAIROBI, Nov 2 (Reuters) - East Africa's biggest telecoms firm, Safaricom , said on Monday the first tranche of its five-year note programme was 50 percent oversubscribed, the latest Kenyan corporate issue to meet strong demand.
