LONDON, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Britain's leading share index was 0.5 percent higher by midday on Wednesday supported by a rebound from the banking sector, albeit in thin volumes, as investors awaited news from the U.S. Federal Reserve policy meeting.

Galapagos starts new clincial study of MS treatment

AMSTERDAM, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Belgian biotech company Galapagos said on Tuesday it would start a Phase II clinical study to evaluate the effectiveness of its product Nanocort in treating flares in multiple sclerosis (MS).
