DUBAI, Jan 21 - Low oil prices helped Egypt's stock index hit a 6-1/2-year closing high on Wednesday, as bets on property stocks and positive corporate news also buoyed sentiment. Gulf markets mostly edged down after unimpressive earnings reports.

Egypt's Orascom reports Q3 net loss of 72.6 mln Egyptian pounds

CAIRO, Nov 16 - Egypt's Orascom Telecom reported a net loss of 72.6 million Egyptian pounds ($10.2 million) in the third quarter, compared with a loss of 248.3 million a year ago, the company said on Sunday.
