FRANKFURT, March 10 - Bidders have started submitting binding offers for DEA, the oil and gas production unit of German utility RWE, three people familiar with the matter told Reuters, adding a deal could be struck as soon as this month.

FRANKFURT, Jan 23 - Bidders for the oil and gas exploration offshoot of German utility RWE AG value the unit in a wide range between 3.5 billion euros ($4.8 billion) and 5 billion, two sources familiar with the transaction said on Thursday.
