Vietnam Itaco to raise 2008 profit, list abroad

HANOI, Jan 28 (Reuters) - Vietnam's Tan Tao Investment Industry Corp (Itaco) said on Monday it aims to raise its net profit by at least 62 percent this year and plans an overseas listing.

New Vietnam bank to start business in May - report

HANOI, Jan 17 (Reuters) - Vietnam's Tan Tao Investment Industry Corp (Itaco), Techcombank and chemicals firm Vinachem will contribute a combined 25 percent of funds to a new bank expected to start business in May, state media said on Thursday. Hanoi-based Techcombank, 15 percent owned by HSBC Holdings , and Itaco would each pay 100 billion dong ($6.3 million) for 10 percent of Vietstarbank, the Vietnam News Agency reported.
