Name Description

Ray Robinson

Mr. Ray M. Robinson is Independent Chairman of the Board of Aaron's, Inc. Mr. Robinson has been a director of the Company since 2002 and has served as our Chairman of the Board since April 2014. From November 2012 until his appointment as Chairman, Mr. Robinson was independent lead director. He is President Emeritus of the East Lake Golf Club and Vice Chairman of the East Lake Community Foundation. Prior to his retirement in 2003 as Southern Region President, Mr. Robinson was employed with AT&T from 1968. He currently serves as a director for Avnet, Inc., Acuity Brands, Inc., and AMR and is Chairman of the Board of Citizens Trust Bank of Atlanta.

Steven Michaels

Mr. Steven A. Michaels, CPA., is President of Aaron's, Inc., since April 2014. Prior to this, Mr. Michaels served as (i) Vice President, Finance from 2012 until April 2014, (ii) Vice President Strategic Planning & Business Development from 2013 until April 2014 and (iii) Vice President, Finance, Aaron’s Sales & Lease Ownership Division from 2008 until 2013.Michaels has a finance degree from the University of Florida, an MBA from Georgia State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Ronald Allen

Mr. Ronald W. Allen is no longer Chief Executive Officer, Director of Aaron's, Inc., effective August 31, 2014. Mr. Allen has been a director of the Company since 1996 and Chief Executive Officer of the Company since February 2012. Mr. Allen also served as Chairman of the Board from November 2012 through April 2014 and as President of the Company from February 2012 through April 2014. Mr. Allen served as interim President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from November 2011 to February 2012 and has served as a Director of the Company since 1997. He was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Delta Air Lines, Inc., an international air passenger carrier, from 1987 to 1997 and served in various senior roles at the airline prior to that appointment. He currently serves as a director of The Coca-Cola Company and Aircastle Limited. He is a former director of Forward Air Corporation and Guided Therapeutics, Inc.

Gilbert Danielson

Mr. Gilbert L. Danielson has been appointed as Interim Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Aaron's, Inc., effective August 31, 2014. Mr. Danielson has been Chief Financial Officer since 1990 and Executive Vice President since 1998. Mr. Danielson was a director from 1990 until April 2014. Prior to 1998, he also served as Vice President, Finance of the Company. He previously served as a Director of Servidyne, Inc.

Robert Kamerschen

Mr. Robert W. Kamerschen is Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary of Aaron's, Inc. He has been Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since April 2014. Prior to this, Mr. Kamerschen serviced as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from November 2013 and as Senior Vice President and General Counsel since joining the Company in June 2013. Before joining the Company, Mr. Kamerschen served at information solution provider Equifax Inc. since 2008, most recently as its U.S. Chief Counsel, Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer.

John Robinson

Mr. John W. Robinson is Executive Vice President of Aaron's, Inc. He has been Executive Vice President, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company’s recently acquired subsidiary, virtual lease-to-own company Progressive Finance Holdings, LLC. Prior to the Company’s acquisition of Progressive, Mr. Robinson served as its Chief Executive Officer.

James Cates

Mr. James L. Cates is Senior Group Vice President of Aaron's, Inc. He has been Senior Group Vice President since 2002. Corporate Secretary from 2002 until November 2013.

Tristan Montanero

Mr. Tristan Montanero is Co-Senior Vice President - Operations of the company. He has served as Vice President of Operations since January 2013. He began his 20-year career with the Company immediately after graduating from the University of Florida in 1994. After serving as Manager Trainee, he was promoted to a General Manager the same year and became a District Manager in 1996. In the following years, he became Regional Manager and was promoted in 2002 to Vice President, Central Operations.

Michael Ryan

Mr. Michael P. Ryan is Co-Senior Vice President - Operations of Aaron's, Inc. Mr. Ryan has served as Vice President of Franchising since February 2014. Previously, he served as Divisional Vice President of Northern Operations since April 21, 1993. He began his 24-year career at the Company in 1990 as an Assistant Store Manager and soon after was promoted to run the Company’s 27th store.

D. Chad Strickland

D. Chad Strickland is Senior Vice President - Associate Resources of Aaron's, Inc. Mr. Strickland Senior Vice President, Associate Resources since April 2014. Prior to this, Mr. Strickland served as Vice President, Associate Resources from 2010 until April 2014 and Vice President, Employee Relations from 2006 until 2010.

Henri Rogers

Mr. Henri Rogers is Divisional Vice President - Northern Operations of Aaron's, Inc.. He joined Aaron’s in 1999 and is a three-time recipient of the Top Ten Region Chairman's Circle Award, a recognition of the Company’s top performers. As a proven leader, Rogers proudly serves as a Combat Engineer with the U.S. Army Reserve.

John Trainor

Mr. John T. Trainor is Vice President, Chief Information Officer of Aaron's, Inc., since November 2010. Prior to this, Mr. Trainor was Information Technology Director for the Company from 1999 to 2007 when he was appointed Vice President, Information Technology, Aaron’s Sales & Lease Ownership Division.

Kimberly Rivera

Mr. Kimberly R. Rivera is Vice President - Learning and Development of Aaron's, Inc.. As Vice President of Learning and Development, Kim Rivera will be responsible for creating and refining training and development programs for Aaron's more than 12,000 associates. Rivera has 17 years of experience in the corporate coaching, human resources, training and development arenas, five of which were at the executive level as Vice President of Human Resources, Recruiting, and Training for one of the most recognized brands in the restaurant industry. Most recently, Rivera owned a corporate training and development company and worked with Aaron's as a consultant to create a Leadership Development program for the management team.

Mr. Leo Benatar is Lead Independent Director of Aaron's, Inc. Mr. Benatar has served as a Director of the Company since 1994. He is currently a Principal with consulting firm Benatar & Associates. Previously, he has been an associated consultant with A.T. Kearney, Inc., a management consulting and executive search company since 1996. He was Chairman of packaging manufacturer Engraph, Inc., and served as Chief Executive Officer of that company from 1981 to 1995. He previously served as Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, as a Director of Paxar Corporation and Mohawk Industries, Inc. and as nonexecutive Chairman of Interstate Bakeries Corporation.

Matthew Avril

Mr. Matthew E. Avril has been appointed as Director of the Company effective July 9, 2014. Matthew E. Avril retired from Starwood in December 2012, where he had served as President, Hotel Group since September 2008. Mr. Avril was responsible for hotel operations worldwide for Starwood's nine hotel brands, consisting of approximately 1,100 properties in more than 97 countries. Mr. Avril also oversaw Starwood's global sales organization. Mr. Avril began his career with Starwood in 1989 through Vistana, Inc., the predecessor to Starwood Vacation Ownership. Mr. Avril is a director of API and Zentila.

Brian Kahn

Mr. Brian Randall Kahn has been appointed as Director of Aaron's, Inc., effective May 20, 2014. He Founded and has served as the investment manager of Vintage Capital and its predecessor, KCM, since 1998. Vintage Capital focuses on public and private market investments in the consumer, manufacturing and defense industries. Mr. Kahn has served as Chairman of API Technologies Corp., which we refer to as API, a designer and manufacturer of high performance systems, subsystems, modules and components for technically demanding RF, microwave, millimeter wave, electromagnetic, power and security applications, since January 2011; from January 2011 to August 2012, Mr. Kahn also served as Chief Executive Officer of API. From October 2011 to July 2012, Mr. Kahn was a director of Integral Systems, Inc., a global provider of products, systems and services for satellite command and control, telemetry and digital signal processing, data communications, enterprise network management and communications information assurance. From September 2009 to April 2010, Mr. Kahn was the Chairman of White Electronic Designs Corporation, a provider of sophisticated multi-chip semiconductor packages, high-efficiency memory devices and build-to-print electromechanical assemblies for defense and aerospace applications. Mr. Kahn is also a member of the Board of Managers and a controlling shareholder of Buddy’s Newco, LLC d/b/a/ Buddy’s Home Furnishings, an owner and franchisor of rent-to-own stores. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kahn was the owner of Rosey Rentals L. P., which we refer to as RRLP, which at the time was the second-largest franchisee of the Company, as well as Ace TV Rental and Choice Rent-to-Own. (In December 2008, Vintage Capital acquired RRLP.) Mr. Kahn was previously an analyst covering the rent-to-own sector with Fidelity Investments.

H. Eugene Lockhart

Mr. H. Eugene Lockhart is Director of the Company. Lockhart formerly served as President and CEO of MasterCard Worldwide and currently serves as Special Advisor to General Atlantic, a leading global growth equity firm providing capital and strategic support for growth companies. During his tenure at MasterCard Worldwide, he led the company's transition to become a for-profit enterprise. He also led the retail and commercial banking businesses globally as President of the Global Retail Bank at Bank of America until its sale to NationsBank. Lockhart also was the CEO of Midland Bank UK and Chairman of First Direct and Thomas Cook where he led Midland's transition to a highly profitable domestic banking business which resulted in its eventual sale to HSBC. He has been a successful private investor and advisor to several private equity firms where he focuses on high-growth financial services technology companies, traditional banks, and non-bank financial providers. Lockhart served on the board of Progressive Finance, which was acquired by Aaron's in April 2014, and has served on many public company boards including First Republic Bank, RJR/Nabisco, Huron Consulting, Cognizant, IMS Health and RadioShack. He championed innovations in the global payments industry while serving on the boards of many payments enterprises including APACS, CHAPS, SWIFT, and Europay and also provided his expertise to several U.S. and European commissions focused on payments infrastructure and security.

Kathy Betty

Ms. Kathy T. Betty is an Independent Director of Aaron's, Inc., since August 22, 2012. Ms. Betty has served on company's board of directors since 2012. From 2009 until 2011, Ms. Betty was the owner of the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA. She also founded The Tradewind Group, an incubator company, where she worked until 2007. Her other experience includes serving as Executive Vice President and Partner of Scott, Madden from 1993 to 2000, where she worked on international mergers and acquisitions, and Ernst & Young from 1989 to 1993 as one of the first women admitted to the partnership.

Cynthia Day

Ms. Cynthia N. Day is an Independent Director of Aaron's, Inc. Ms. Day is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Bancshares Corporation and Citizens Trust Bank. She served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Citizens Trust Bank from 2003 to January 2012 and served as its acting President and Chief Executive Officer from January 2012 to February 2012. She previously served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and in other capacities of Citizens Federal Savings Bank of Birmingham from 1993 until its acquisition by Citizens Trust Bank in 2003 and previously served as an audit manager for KPMG. Ms. Day was appointed to serve as Director of the Company in October 2011. She currently serves on the board of directors of Citizens Bancshares Corporation and Citizens Trust Bank.

Hubert Harris

Mr. Hubert L. Harris, Jr., is an Independent Director of Aaron's, Inc., since August 7, 2012. Mr. Harris is the owner and operator of Harris Plantation, Inc., a cattle, hay and timber business, since 1992. He is a Trustee for SEI mutual funds since 2008 and an advisory director for PSA Healthcare since 2011. Mr. Harris previously served as CEO of Invesco North America and Chairman of Invesco Retirement Services, and served on the Board of Directors of Invesco from 1993 to 2004. Prior to his tenure with Invesco from 1988 to 2005, Mr. Harris was President and Executive Director of the International Association for Financial Planning from 1983 to 1988 and Executive Vice President of Associated Builders and Contractors from 1980 to 1983. He served as the Assistant Director of the Office of Management and Budget from 1977 to 1980. Mr. Harris was appointed to serve as a Director of the Company in August 2012.

David Kolb

Mr. David L. Kolb is an Independent Director of Aaron's, Inc. Mr. Kolb was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mohawk Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of flooring products, from 2001 until 2004. Prior to his service as Chairman in 2004, he served as Chief Executive Officer from 1988 to 2001. Mr. Kolb has been a Director of the Company since 2003. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Chromcraft Revington Corporation. Mr. Kolb also previously served as a director of Paxar Corporation.
