Name	Description
John Brouillard	Mr. John C. Brouillard is Independent Chairman of the Board of Advance Auto Parts, Inc. Mr. Brouillard became a member of Company's Board in May 2004 and was appointed Lead Director on February 14, 2007. Mr. Brouillard served as the interim Chair, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from May 2007 until January 2008, when he became the non-executive Chair of the Board. Mr. Brouillard retired as Chief Administrative and Financial Officer of H.E. Butt Grocery Company, a regional food retailer, in June 2005, a position that he had held since February 1991. From 1977 to 1991, Mr. Brouillard held various positions with Hills Department Stores, a discount department store company, including serving as President of that company. Mr. Brouillard also served as a director of Eddie Bauer Holdings, Inc., a multi-channel retailer, from June 2005 to May 2009.
George Sherman	Mr. George E. Sherman has been appointed as President of Advance Auto Parts, Inc., effective April 21, 2013. Mr. Sherman served as the Senior Vice President, Best Buy Services, Best Buy Co., Inc., a national retailer of consumer electronics, from June 2009 to March 2013. Michael Norona	Mr. Michael A. Norona is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, Assistant Secretary of Advance Auto Parts, Inc. He joined the Company in February 2008. Mr. Norona is responsible for the company's finance, legal and human resources functions. Before joining Advance, Mr. Norona served as the President of Financial Services for Best Buy Co., Inc., a specialty retailer of consumer electronics, office products, appliances and software, from March 2007 to February 2008. Ms. Finley's tenure and background in human resources will be a tremendous asset as she takes over leadership of the Company's human resources functions including team member relations, organizational development and staffing.

Prior to joining Advance, Mr. Carter served as a partner at Bain & Company, a global management consulting firm, where he worked for over 11 years. Rusty Tweedy	Mr. Rusty Tweedy has been appointed as Area Senior Vice President of Advance Auto Parts Inc., effective August 31, 2012. Mr. Tweedy joined Advance in July 2004 and most recently served as Commercial Vice President. Prior to this role, he served Advance as Regional Vice President and District Leader. Prior to joining Advance, he held a variety of management positions with both big box retailers and specialty retail organizations.
Jimmie Wade	Mr. Jimmie L. Wade is Director of Advance Auto Parts, Inc. He became a member of the company's Board on September 15, 2011. Mr. Wade served as Company's President from January 2009 to January 1, 2012 and from October 1999 to May 2005.
