Name Description
Lee, Hsiang-Wei Lee, Hsiang-Wei (David) has served as Chairman of the Board of Actions Semiconductor Co. He served as Actions’ Chief Financial Officer from August 2005 through October 2007. Mr. Lee also currently serves as the director of Pacific Sun Investment Management Co., Ltd. Previously, Mr. Lee was the CEO of ABN AMRO Asset Management (China). From 1995 to 2002 he was the Chairman and CEO of ABN AMRO Asset Management’s Taiwan operations where he managed assets in the amount of US$3.5 billion. Mr. Lee has more than 15 years of experience in corporate finance and investment management. Mr. Lee holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science degree in biometrics from National Taiwan University.
Chen, Niccolo Mr. Niccolo Chen is Chief Executive Officer of Actions Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Mr. Chen joined Actions in 2007 as General Manager and was promoted to Chief Strategy Officer earlier this year. In this capacity, Chen has spearheaded the successful development and market penetration of Actions' second generation SoCs and is the innovation of third generation SoCs. Prior to working at Actions, Chen held a number of technical positions at Realtek Semiconductor Corp. from 1992 through 2006, recently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Realtek's China subsidiary, Realsil. As CTO at Realtek, Chen developed a number of industry technologies that were instrumental in creating the foundation for Realtek's success, including the networking transceiver IC, PC audio IC, Wi-Fi SoC and TV/Monitor SoC. Prior to that, Chen worked as the engineer of process technology development department at UMC. Mr. Chen received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.
Chou, Pei-Fen Ms. Chou, Pei-Fen (Patricia) has served as Chief Financial Officer of Actions Semiconductor Co., Ltd since October 2007. Previously Ms. Chou was the Vice President of Finance at Actions. Prior to joining Actions in November 2006, Ms. Chou served as the Director of Business Development and then Senior Director of Accounting at Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), where she was responsible for establishing a U.S. presence, developing new business initiatives, and leading the company’s global accounting team. She also participated in raising $650 million in private funds and SMIC’s $1.6 billion NYSE-listed IPO. From 1996 to 2001, Patricia was the Director of Accounting and Planning of Winbond Electronics Corporation U.S. operation. Prior to that, Chou worked as a financial auditor in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the United States with Deloitte. Ms. Chou received a Bachelor of Business Administration from National Taiwan University, Master of Accounting from University of Southern California, and Master of Business Administration from University of California at Berkeley. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in Taiwan, the United States, and China.
Li, Shao Chuan Mr. Li, Shao Chuan (Shawn) has served as Director of Actions Semiconductor Co since September 2005 and as Chief Technology Officer since the establishment of operations in December 2001. Before joining, Mr. Li was the director of research and development at Zhuhai Arestek, Electronic Co., Ltd. Mr. Li holds a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology.
Lin, Yu-Hsin Mr. Lin, Yu-Hsin Casper serves as Director of Actions Semiconductor Co since August 2005. Mr. Lin also currently serves as the chairman and director of Memory Devices, Ltd., a memory module manufacturer. Previously, Mr. Lin was a director of Twinmos Tech. Inc., a network module manufacturer, and a director and the chief financial officer of United Microelectronics, a semiconductor wafer manufacturer. Mr. Lin holds a Master in Business Administration degree from Bloomsbury University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Art degree from the accounting department of Soochow University in Taiwan. He is Chairman of the Audit Committee and Member of the Compensation Committee and the Nominating Committee at the Company.
Yeh, Nan-Horng Mr. Yeh Nan-Horng is Director of Actions Semiconductor Co., Ltd. He had served as Chief Executive Officer of Actions Semiconductor Co since May 2005. Previously, Mr. Yeh served as a director and vice president of Realtek Semiconductor Corp. He also served as a director and the president of each of Globaltec Management Consulting Corp. and Globaltec Technology Partner I Venture Capital Corp. Mr. Yeh holds a Master in Business Administration degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science degree in transportation management from National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.
Chen, Chin-Hsin Mr. Chen, Chin-Hsin (Fred) has served as Independent Director at Actions since October 2007. He is also Director of the OLED Laboratory, Display Institute, National Chiao Tung Universit in Hsinchu, Taiwan and Director of the Centre for Advanced Luminescence Materials (CALM) at Hong Kong Baptist University. Previously Mr. Chen was a group leader and senior scientist at the Display Technology Laboratory of Eastman Kodak Co., in Rochester, New York, USA. Mr. Chen is the co-inventor of the key Doped OLED Guest-Host Emitter Technology. He is Member of the Audit Committee, Compensation Committee and the Nominating Committee at the Company.
Huang, Jun Tse Mr. Jun Tse Huang is Director of Actions Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Mr. Jun Tse Huang currently serves as the CEO of Colorwind Technology Corporation, a position he has held since 2004. From 2001 to 2003, he was a Vice President of the Overseas department at the Guangzhou Risun Information Technology Group. Prior to that, starting in 1999, Mr. Huang served as an Executive Vice President at Global Brand Manufacturing Corporation, a Taiwan Stock Exchange listed company. From 1995 to 1998, he served as an Executive Vice President in Proview Group, a Hong Kong Stock Exchange listed company. And prior to that he was as a Vice President of Purchasing at Elitegroup Computer Systems Co., Ltd, a Taiwan Stock Exchange listed company. Pan, I-Ming Mr. I-Ming (Robin) Pan is Director of Actions Semiconductor Co., Ltd. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Ambiwin Technology Inc. He previously served as Vice President of Marketing at PQ International Co. from 2007 to 2008 and Vice President of Sales at Sinostar Technology Ltd. from 2005 to 2006. Pan also co-founded and served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of GMI Technology Inc. from 1995 to 2005.
