Mr. Walter C. Johnsen is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Acme United Corp. He has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from November 30, 1995 to December 31, 2006. He formerly served as Vice Chairman and a principal of Marshall Products, Inc., a medical supply distributor. Mr. Johnsen’s qualifications to serve on the Board include the knowledge of all facets of the Company’s business which he has gained during his more than fifteen years of service as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer. |
Brian Olschan |
Mr. Brian S. Olschan is President, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Acme United Corp. He has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company from January 1999 to December 31, 2006; Senior Vice President - Sales and Marketing of the Company from September 1996 to January 1999. He formerly served as Vice President and General Manager of the Cordset and Assembly Business of General Cable Corporation, an electrical wire and cable manufacturer. Mr. Olschan’s qualifications to serve on the Board include his detailed knowledge of the Company’s operations which he has gained in his capacity as a member of senior management for more than thirteen years, including as Chief Operating Officer since January 1999 and President since January 2007. |

He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of J.L. Hammett Co., a reseller of educational products from 1992 to 2006. The qualifications of Mr. Holden to serve on the Board include his senior management level experience of complex companies in the educational markets. In particular, as a result of his experience with School Specialty Inc., a $1 billion reseller of educational products, Mr. Holden has broad knowledge of educational markets and operational matters relating to educational products, such as marketing, sourcing, pricing and distribution. |

Ms. Murphy received a Ph.D. from Cornell University. Ms. Murphy has broad senior management level experience in a complex organization. |
