Name Description

Kim Po Yan

 Mr. Yan Kim Po is Chairman of the Board of Adex Mining Inc. He is an entrepreneur with over 20 years experience in investment, development, production, processing, operating and trading in the mining and steel industries. He also has the experience in the marine transportation industry. Mr. Yan is the founder and chairman of the Great Harvest group, which is principally engaged in the mining industry. He is also the founder and chairman of Great Harvest Maeta Group Holdings Limited. He has been appointed as a Justice of Peace in Hong Kong and has also been named a World Chinese by the World Chinese Union Association. He is also a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors and the chairman of the Hong Kong Energy Association and the Minerals United Association. Mr. Yan is also active in social affairs and has been appointed as the Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Association of Youth Development, the Honorary President of the Junior Police Club, the Honorary President of the Fire Safety Ambassador Club, the Honorary Vice-President of the Hong Kong Police Basketball Club and a member of the Friends of the Community Chest Shatin District Committee.

Patrick Merrin

 Mr. Patrick Merrin is Chief Operating Officer of Adex Mining Inc. Mr. Merrin holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from McGill University and a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Business. He is a metals and mining executive with more than 15 years of operations, business and engineering experience in multiple countries. His background includes management and executive-level positions with Xstrata Nickel and metals manufacturer Lucas Milhaupt (Handy & Harman), working in both Canada and Europe. Mr. Merrin's leadership positions built on his earlier experience as both a zinc and copper smelter process engineer, and senior plant metallurgist. Mr. Merrin has also held progressively senior mine foreman roles with Hudbay Minerals Inc. operations in Flin Flon, Canada.

Norman Betts

 Dr. Norman M. Betts, Ph.D., FCA, is Lead Independent Director of Adex Mining Inc. Mr. Betts holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Brunswick and a PhD in Management (area of concentration: accounting and finance) from Queen’s University School of Business. Mr. Betts has been a chartered accountant since 1981 and in 2001 he was named a fellow of the New Brunswick Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is currently an associate professor in the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of New Brunswick. Mr. Betts has the public company experience, serving as Chair of the Board and a director of Starfield Resources Inc. (TSX-V:SRU), a director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Tembec Inc. (TSX:TMB), a director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Sheltered Oak Resources Corp. (TSX-V:OAK), and a director and the Chair of the Audit Committee of Tanzanian Royal Exploration Corp. (TSX:TMX, AMEX:TRE). He also serves as a director and a member of the Audit Committee of New Brunswick Power Corporation, a provincial crown corporation, and as a director and a member of the Audit Committee, the Risk Management Committee and the Business Development Committee of Export Development Canada, a federal crown corporation.

Linda Lam Kwan

 Ms. Linda Lam Kwan is Director of Adex Mining Inc. She is no longer Interim President, Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective November 19,2012. Ms. Lam Kwan is an entrepreneur with over 10 years experience in the mining and steel industry and over eight years experience in the marine transportation industry. She is the director of Great Harvest group principally responsible for its holdings in the mining industry. She is also the director and the chief executive officer of Great Harvest Maeta Group Holdings Limited which is listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Ms. Lam is also primarily responsible for the day-to-day management and overall business operations of the Great Harvest group and Great Harvest Maeta Group Holdings Limited, as well as their finance and administrative management functions. She is also a director of Pok Oi Hospital in Hong Kong and a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors.

William Burton

 Mr. William B. Burton is Independent Director of the Adex Mining Inc. Mr. Burton previously served as a director of the Corporation from December 31, 1992 until March 30, 2000. Mr. Burton holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Geology from Dalhousie University, located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer and a director of MagIndustries Corp. (TSX-V:MAA), a public company which has forestry operations and a potash development project in the Republic of Congo and a hydro-electric power development project in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Mr. Burton has public company experience, having previously served as an officer or director of a number of publicly-traded mining companies over the past 22 years.

 Mr. Kin Foo Tai is Independent Director of Adex Mining Inc. He is Executive Director, Goldpac Investments Ltd. (consulting company); President and Chief Executive Officer, ChineseWorldNet.com Inc. (financial information company, focused on connecting companies, financial service providers and institutions in North America to investors, strategic partners and buyers from the Greater China region and Chinese speaking communities); Managing Director, CWN Capital Inc. (a capital market consulting company with experience in facilitating crossborder transactions between Greater China and North America)
