Name Description

Heinz Fuhrmann

 Prof. Dr. Heinz Joerg Fuhrmann has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Aurubis AG since October 1, 2011. He has been Member of the Supervisory Board of the Company since January 5, 2009. He chairs the Conciliation Committee and the Personnel Committee of the Company, and since since October 1, 2012 also the Nomination Committee. He is Member of the Audit Committee and Nomination Committee at the Company. He is also Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer of Salzgitter AG. He is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Mannesmannroehren-Werke GmbH, Salzgitter Mannesmann Handel GmbH, Salzgitter Stahl GmbH (all since February 1, 2011), Salzgitter Kloeckner-Werke AG (until December 14, 2011), KHS AG, among others. He was Member of the Supervisory Board at Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH until January 31,2011. He serves as Member of the Supervisory Board at Oeffentliche Lebensversicherung Braunschweig, Oeffentliche Sachversicherung Braunschweig, TUEV Nord AG. Peter Willbrandt

 Mr. Peter Willbrandt has been Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of Aurubis AG since January 1, 2012. He has been Member of the Management Board and Head of Primary Copper of the Company since April 19, 2008. He joined the Group in 1988. After senior positions in the smelter production sectors, he was put in charge of Metallurgy in 2001. This was followed by his appointment as General Manager of Primary Copper Production in 2004. He was appointed Deputy Member of the Executive Board on April 1, 2007. He studied Metallurgy at Technische Universitaet Clausthal-Zellerfeld.

Hans-Juergen Grundmann

 Mr. Hans-Juergen Grundmann is Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Employee Representative at Aurubis AG. He is Chairman of the Works Council of the Company. He is Shop Mechanic by profession. Erwin Faust

 Mr. Erwin Faust has been Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Management Board of Aurubis AG since October 1, 2008. After studying economics at the St. Gallen Trade University (Switzerland), Mr. Faust initially worked for Otto Wolf Industrie-Anlagen GmbH in Cologne. He worked for the Volkswagen Group from March 1989 to 1995, developing the controlling process in the course of the acquisition of Skoda in Prague. He then held management positions at VAW Aluminium in Bonn until 2007. Before he started at Aurubis, Erwin Faust was Chief Financial Officer of Novelis Europa, a subgroup of Novelis Inc. based in Atlanta (USA). Mr. Faust was Financial Director of the European rolled products division at Alcan Inc. starting in 2003 and participated in the deconsolidation of the European companies. In his function as Chief Financial Officer of Novelis Europa, he also served on the supervisory committees of the European companies and as the Commercial Director of the German company.

Stefan Boel

 Dr. Stefan Boel has been Member of the Management Board and Head of Copper Products of Aurubis AG since April 19, 2008. He studied Chemistry and received his doctorate from Universiteit of Antwerpen. After that, he held various positions in production, supply chain management and sales at Aralco N.V. in Belgium. He worked in product development and marketing in the former Copper Division of Umicore S.A. starting in 2001 and was subsequently the Commercial Director of the Umicore plant in Bulgaria. He has been Vice President of Copper Refining and Mining Projects and a member of the Executive Committee since the demerger of Cumerio from the Umicore Group.

Michael Landau

 Dr. Michael Landau has been Member of the Management Board, Director of Industrial Relations at Aurubis AG since 2008. He has served as Member of the Management Board, responsible for Copper Production Segment and Director of Labor Affairs from November 9, 2007 till 2008. Before that, he served as Member of the Management Board, responsible for Copper Production Segment from June 1, 1999 to November 9, 2007. He has been with the Company since 1981. In March 1998, he was appointed as Deputy Member of the Executive Board. He gained a Doctorate in Philosophy degree in Non-ferrous Metallurgy from Technische Universitaet Clausthal in 1981. After studying metallurgy, he was a research assistant at the Institute for Metallurgy and Electrometallurgy at the TU Clausthal from 1975 to 1981.

Jan Eulen

 Mr. Jan Eulen has been Member of the Supervisory Board and Employee Representative at Aurubis AG since March 3, 2001. He is District Manager of the Mining, Chemical and Energy Industrial Union Hamburg/Harburg at the Company. He also serves as Member of the Supervisory Board at Honeywell Deutschland Holding GmbH.
