Name Description

Kim Schindelhauer

 Mr. Kim Schindelhauer has served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AIXTRON SE since June 7, 2002. Additionally, he acts as Member of the Audit Committee as well as Nomination Committee of the Company. Mr. Schindelhauer is former Executive Board Member of AIXTRON AG. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Georg-August-Universitaet Goettingen, obtained in 1981. He worked as Controller at Continental AG from 1981 till 1983 and at Continental AG - Uniroyal GmbH from 1983 till 1984. Between 1984 and 1987 he served as Financial Director at Continental Products Corp. From 1987 to 1993 he was Chief Financial Controller at General Tire Inc.

 Mr. Wolfgang Breme has been Member of the Executive Board, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of AIXTRON SE since April 1, 2005. He also serves as Member of the Executive Board at Deutsches Aktieninstitut e.V. Between 2002 and 2005 Mr. Breme acted as Executive Board Member and Chief Financial Officer of technotrans AG. Bernd Schulte

 Dr. Bernd Schulte has been Member of the Executive Board, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of AIXTRON SE since April 1, 2002. Dr. Schulte joined AIXTRON SE in 1993, and served as Director of Sales and Marketing from 2001 to 2002. He holds a degree in Physics and a Doctorate in Philosophy degree.

Prof. Dr. Blaettchen occupies the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Pfisterer Holding AG as of June 23, 2010 and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board at HAUBROK AG. Moreover, he serves as Member of the Supervisory Board at APCOA Parking AG, Datagroup IT Services Holding AG as well as FAS AG. From 1972 until 1981 he studied Economics and Business Administration and worked on doctorate in Canada (McGill University, Montreal) and France (HEC-Paris, Universite Paris IX Dauphine). From 1983 to 1985 he was Visiting Lecturer in Corporate Finance at HEC, Paris. Between 2002 and 2010 he acted as Professor in Fachbereich 1 (Department 1) – Taxation and Auditing at the SRH-Hochschule Calw. From 2005 till 2010 he was Vice Dean of Fachbereich 1 (Department 1) – Taxation and Auditing at the SRH-Hochschule Calw.

Petra Denk

 Prof. Dr. Petra Denk has been Member of the Supervisory Board of AIXTRON SE since May 19, 2011. She holds a Doctor of Physics and teaches Business Administration and Energy Management at Hochschule Landshut. She is Chairwoman of the Technology Committee at the Company. She holds a degree in Physics from Ludwig-Maximilian-Universitaet Muenchen (LMU), obtained in December 1996, as well as a Doctorate in Physics from LMU, obtained in July 2000. Between October 2000 and September 2001 she was Research Assistent at LMU in Biophysics. She completed a post-graduate studies in Business Administration with an MBA degree in September 2005. From October 2001 till July 2009 she worked at E.ON Energie, most recently as Head of Portfolio Development from August 2008.

Ruediger von Rosen

 Prof. Dr. Ruediger von Rosen has served as Member of the Supervisory Board of AIXTRON SE since 2002. He is Managing Director of Deutsches Aktieninstitut e.V. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. von Rosen also acts as Member of the Supervisory Board of Price Waterhouse Coopers AG. He also occupies the position of Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board at ICF Kursmakler AG as of August 30, 2010. Until January 20, 2010 Prof. Dr. von Rosen was Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Prime Time Entertainment AG. He studied Business Administration with a specialization in Banking Graduated with a Dipl.-Betriebswirt (MBA) degree from 1966 to 1970. Between 1974 and 1986 he worked at Deutsche Bundesbank, most recently as Head of the Press and Information Department from 1984. Between 1986 to 1992 he was Managing Director at Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Deutschen Wertpapierboersen. From 1990 till 1994 he was Member of the Executive Board (Chairman from 1991 to 1993) at Deutsche Boerse AG, known as Frankfurter Wertpapierboerse AG until 1992. Since January 1, 1995 he has been Managing Director at Deutsches Aktieninstitut e.V. where he has been Member of the Executive Board since 1987.
