Name Description

Hermann Viets

 Dr. Hermann Viets, Ph.D., has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Astro-Med, Inc., effective May 15, 2012. Dr. Viets is the President of the Milwaukee School of Engineering, having served in that capacity since 1991. Under his leadership, the Milwaukee School of Engineering established the Rader School of Business and Nursing. He previously held the positions of Dean of the School of Engineering at the University of Rhode Island and Associate Dean for Research at West Virginia University. Dr. Viets holds a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from Polytechnic University in New York City.

Everett Pizzuti

 Mr. Everett V. Pizzuti is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Astro-Med, Inc. He has been Chief Executive Officer of the Company since 2011 and was formerly President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company since 1971. Mr. Pizzuti has also been a director of the Company since 1985. Prior to 1971, he served as General Sales Manager of the Recorder Division of Gulton Industries.

Joseph O'Connell

 Mr. Joseph P. O'Connell is Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President, Treasurer, Assistant Secretary of Astro-Med, Inc. He joined the Company in 1996. He previously held senior financial management positions with Cherry Tree Products Inc., IBI Corporation and Avery Dennison Corporation. He was appointed to the position of Senior Vice President in 2007.

 Mr. Gregory A. Woods has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President of Astro-Med, Inc., effective September 6, 2012. Since 2010, Mr. Woods served as Managing Director of Medfield Advisors, LLC, an advisory firm located in Medfield, Massachusetts focused on providing corporate development and strategy guidance to technology driven manufacturing firms. From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Woods served as President of Performance Motion Devices, a specialty semiconductor and electronics manufacturer located in Lincoln, Massachusetts. From 2001 to 2008, Mr. Woods was President and CEO of Control Technology Corporation, a manufacturer of industrial and process controls located in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. Mr. Woods is a member of several corporate boards and serves on the president’s executive advisory board for the Association for Manufacturing Technology, which promotes high technology manufacturing in the United States. Mr. Woods graduated with a BA in Physics from Colgate University, a BE in Computer and Mechanical Engineering from Dartmouth College, and received an MBA from the University of Rochester.

Michael Natalizia

 Mr. Michael J. Natalizia is Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of Astro-Med, Inc., since March 9, 2012. He has an background in developing both Astro-Med's Test & Measurement and Color Label Printer product lines. His most recent assignment was spearheading the development of the Company's Ruggedized Product Lines which represents the fastest growing business of Astro-Med. He earned two undergraduate degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences from Tufts University.

Erik Mancyak

 Mr. Erik J. Mancyak is Vice President, Principal Accounting Officer, Corporate Controller of Astro-Med, Inc. Mr. Mancyak was appointed Vice President of the Company in 2011. He also holds the position of Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer to which he was appointed in 2009. He served as Assistant Corporate Controller of the Company from 2008 to 2009 and prior to that was an Accounting Manager of the Company beginning in 2005. Prior to 2005, Mr. Mancyak was Senior Treasury Analyst at American Power Conversion and an auditor at the international accounting firm of KPMG LLP. Mr. Mancyak holds a B.S. in Accounting from Rhode Island College and retired as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps.

Eric Pizzuti

 Mr. Eric E. Pizzuti is Vice President and General Manager - QuickLabel Systems Business Segment of Astro-Med, Inc., since March 9, 2012. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Pizzuti held the position of Vice President and Worldwide Director of Sales for QuickLabel Systems from March 2010 and Worldwide Director of Sales from March 2006 through March 2010. Mr. Pizzuti has held various other positions since joining the Company in 1996. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Boston College, and has earned a Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor in Law from Suffolk University.

Gordon Bentley

 Mr. Gordon W. Bentley is Vice President - Information Technology of Astro-Med, Inc. He was previously Director of Information Technology and held other various operations positions since joining the Company in 1980.

Michael Morawetz

 Mr. Michael M. Morawetz is Vice President - International Branches of Astro-Med, Inc. He was previously the General Manager of Branch Operations for Astro-Med’s German Subsidiary, having joined the Company in 1989.

Stephen Petrarca

 Mr. Stephen M. Petrarca is Vice President - Instrument Manufacturing of Astro-Med, Inc. He has previously held positions as General Manager of Manufacturing, Manager of Grass Operations and Manager of Grass Sales. He has been with the Company since 1980.

Harold Schofield

 Mr. Harold Schofield has been appointed as Director of Astro-Med, Inc., effective May 16, 2012. Mr. Schofield is an internationally recognized authority in electronic printing and has been a frequent speaker at industry conferences and seminars over the past 25 years. Mr. Schofield was President, CEO, and founder of Atlantek Incorporated, a manufacturer of printers for photo ID cards, for driver's licenses and other security ID photo uses. After selling the company to Zebra Technologies in 2003, he served as Vice President & General Manager of Zebra-Atlantek until 2005 when he retired to pursue independent consulting and new business development interests. Mr. Schofield is the co-founder and co-producer of the Annual Thermal Printing Conference together with the Information Management Institute (IMI). He has authored numerous articles and white papers on many aspects of thermal printing and security printing, including "The Future of Thermal Papers," which was published last year by Pira International as a multi-client study. Prior to founding Atlantek, Mr. Schofield was Design Engineering Manager at Gulton Industries where he was responsible for design and development of thermal printers, plotters and chart recorders. In this capacity Mr. Schofield pioneered many of the early product and technology advances in thermal printing. He received his BSEE degree from University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth in 1972.

Graeme MacLetchie

 Mr. Graeme MacLetchie is a Independent Director of Astro-Med, Inc. He is a private investor and was a director of Deutsche Bank Alex Brown (Private Client Division), an investment banking and brokerage services company for private wealth and asset management, from November 1995 to March 2010. Prior to this, Mr. MacLetchie was Senior Vice President of C. J. Lawrence Deutsche Bank Securities Corporation from 1970 to 1995. He has been a board member of the Company since 2002 and also served as a Director of E-Sync Networks Inc., a provider of managed enterprise services and solutions to medium businesses, from 1994 to 1999.

 Mr. Mitchell I. Quain is Independent Director of Astro-Med, Inc., since August 22, 2011. Mr. Quain is a Senior Advisor at Carlyle Group, a private equity firm. From 2010 through 2011, Mr. Quain was a Partner at One Equity Partners, a private investment firm. From 2006 through 2009, he was a Senior Director of ACI Capital Corp. From 2002 through 2005, Mr. Quain served as Chairman of Register.Com, Inc., an internet services provider, and from 1997 to 2001 he was employed with ABN AMRO and its predecessors in several capacities, including Vice Chairman. Mr. Quain previously served as a director of DeCrane Aircraft Holdings, Inc., HEICO Corporation and Mechanical Dynamics, Inc.
