| Daane, John | John P. Daane is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Altera Corporation. He joined Altera Corporation as President and Chief Executive Officer in November 2000 and was elected as one of the company's directors in December 2000. He was elected chairman of the board of directors in May 2003. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Daane spent fifteen years at LSI Logic Corporation, a semiconductor manufacturer, most recently as Executive Vice President, Communications Products Group, with responsibility for ASIC technology development and the Computer, Consumer, and Communications divisions. |
