Josef Krenner

Gerhard Falch

 Mr. Gerhard Falch has been Chairman of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of AMAG Austria Metall AG since September 2007. He occupied various management positions in Voest Alpine companies and VA Technologie AG. Following the takeover of VA Technologie AG by Siemens in 2004, Mr. Falch was a member of the Siemens AG Austria board. Between 2002 and 2007, he was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of VA Technologie AG. From 1999 until 2006, he was Chief Executive Officer of VOEST Alpine Industrieanlagenbau GmbH. From 1994 until 1999, he served as Member of the Board of ELIN - EBG. He was Managing Director of John Brown Engineers & Constructors in Germany and Austria from 1990 to 1994. Mr. Falch studied at Technische Universitaet Graz and graduated as Dipl. Ing. in Process Engineering and Business Administration in 1976.

 Mr. Gerald Mayer has been Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Management Board at AMAG Austria Metall AG since January 25, 2011. He was Head of Accounting, Controlling and M&A at Siemens VAI Metals Technologies from 2006 to 2007. From 2001 until 2006, he served as Head of Group Accounting at VA Technologie AG. He was Tax consultant at ICON Wirtschaftstreuhand, Linz from 1996 to 2000. Mr. Mayer studied business administration at the Johannes Kepler Universitaet Linz and graduated as Magister in 1996. He certified as tax accountant in Austria (2000) and as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the United States (2000).

Helmut Kaufmann

 Dr. Helmut Kaufmann has been Chief Technology Officer and Member of the Management Board of AMAG Austria Metall AG since September 2007. He was Managing Director of the ARC Leichtmetallkompetenzzentrum Ranshofen GmbH from 1997 to 2007. Then, he was Manager for market development and technical consultant at UBE Europe in Duesseldorf, Germany from 1994 until 1997. He was Research assistant, project leader and head of casting research division at AMAG R&D department in Ranshofen from 1988 until 1994. Dr. Kaufmann studied at Montanuniversitaet Leoben (MUL), Austria, and graduated as Dipl. Ing. in 1987. He then continued his academic work as visiting scientist in 1989 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, and received a doctoral degree in 1992 from MUL, as well as a post-doctoral teaching qualification from Rhenisch-Westfaelische Technische Hochschule in Aachen in 2005. Dr. Kaufmann is teaching selected courses on light metals technologies at MUL and RWTH Aachen.
