Name Description
Bihl, Anthony Anthony P. Bihl, III has been American Medical systems Holdings,Inc's President and Chief Executive Officer and Director since April 2008. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Medical Solutions’ Diagnostics Division from January to November 2007, after its acquisition of the Diagnostics Division of Bayer HealthCare LLC, an operating unit of Bayer AG, a chemical and pharmaceutical company, where he served in various positions since 2000. From September 2004 to December 2006, he served as the President of the Diagnostics Division of Bayer HealthCare, LLC. In May 2002, he became the Senior Vice President of Business Planning and Administration (BPA), where he was responsible for the oversight, direction and management of the various functions within BPA, including accounting, supply chain, strategic planning, business development, information management and technology, and the Viterion TeleHealthcare joint venture with Matsushita. From January 2000 to May 2002, he served as the Vice President of Finance & Controlling for Bayer Diagnostics’ Laboratory Testing segment. Prior to his time with Bayer, Mr. Bihl held various managerial positions of increasing responsibility within finance and operations in the medical diagnostics, diagnostics imaging and biotechnology businesses.
Heggestad, Mark Mark A. Heggestad has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of American Medical Systems Holdings Inc since December 2006. Mr. Heggestad has over 20 years of experience in financial leadership roles in the medical device industry. Ross, Randall Mr. Randall Ross is the Senior Vice President - Human Resources of American Medical Systems Holdings Inc since June 29, 2009. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources Management. Most recently, he was Vice President of Human Resources for Best Buy, a global retailer of technology and entertainment products and services, where he led the HR function for the company's 4,000-plus corporate staff and its subsidiaries. Prior to Best Buy, he had Human Resource leadership assignments at Target Corporation and Dow Chemical Company. He also served in a number of roles at the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota), including adjunct faculty member in the graduate program in Human Resource Development, staff psychologist and instructor for the University's Center for Business Excellence. Randy is a licensed psychologist in the state of Minnesota. He has has published numerous articles and a book on career development and occupational stress. Nealon, John John F. Nealon has served as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Women’s Health of American Medical Systems Holdings Inc since April 2008. Prior to his appointment as General Manager, Mr. Nealon served as Senior Vice President of Business Development from April 2005 to July 2008. From January 2002 to April 2005, he served as Vice-President of Global Marketing at AMS. Mr. Nealon has over 15 years of experience in the medical device industry. From 1996 to 2001, he served on the management team at Survivalink, a start-up medical device company which developed and marketed automated external defibrillators (AEDs). His final three years at Survivalink, he served as Vice-President, Marketing and International Sales. In 1996, he served as Director of Product Marketing for Summit Medical. Martin, Joe Joe W. Martin is Senior Vice President, General Manager - BPH Therapy Business of American Medical Systems, Inc., Mr. Martin brings over 25 years of leadership experience in medical products including capital equipment and surgical products. Most recently, Martin served as the CEO of Milestone Scientific, a provider of medical and dental solutions. Prior to Milestone Scientific, Martin spent 13 years at Bayer Healthcare in a variety of leadership positions, including president of the diabetes care division. Getlin, Lawrence Lawrence W. Getlin, J.D. has served as American Medical Systems Holdings Inc Senior Vice President of Corporate Compliance, Quality and Legal since June 2006. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Getlin serviced as Vice President, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Quality Systems since 1990. He has been Corporate Compliance Officer of the Company since 2003. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the California State Bar, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals 9th District, and District Court, Central District of California, and is Regulatory Affairs Certified.
Etlinger, Richard Richard Scott Etlinger has served as Vice President of Global Operations since June 2004 and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Global Operations in February 2007. From November 2003 to June 2004, he served as Sr. Director of Global Supply Chain Management. Mr. Etlinger has over 20 years of experience in operations, business process reengineering and finance in a world-wide setting, spanning both medical device and aircraft manufacturing industries. He was formerly with Zimmer Spine where he served as Vice President of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Prior to Zimmer Spine, Mr. Etlinger spent over 10 years at Sulzer Orthopedics in Austin, Texas, holding positions of Vice President of Business Integration and Global Controller. Erickson, Whitney Whitney D. Erickson has served as Vice President and General Manager of Men’s Health since of American Medical Systems Holdings Inc January 2007. Ms. Erickson has over 20 years of global experience including roles in process technology, operations leadership, marketing, business development and general management. She was previously with Honeywell International, where she spent 11 years, most recently as a Vice President for Business Development, involved in integration of various Honeywell acquisitions. Prior to Honeywell, Ms. Erickson was with the former James River Corporation, as well as General Electric. She has worked in a variety of industries including polymers, pharmaceutical packaging and chemical intermediates as well as security hardware and power transformation.
