Name Description

Jean-Paul Luksic Fontbona

Mr. Jean-Paul Luksic Fontbona is Non-Executive Chairman of Antofagasta plc., since September 1, 2014. He is controlled by foundations in which members of the Luksic family are interested. Brother of Andronico Luksic. Non-Executive Director of Quinenco and other companies in the Quinenco group in common with Andronico Luksic and Gonzalo Menendez. Quinenco is also controlled by foundations in which members of the Luksic family are interested. He is Appointed Chairman 2004 (Non-Executive since September 2014). Over 20 years’ experience with Antofagasta, including responsibility for overseeing development of the Los Pelambres and El Tesoro (Centinela Cathodes) mines.

Ivan Arriagada Herrera

Mr. Ivan Arriagada Herrera is Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Before joining the Group, Iván was the Vice President of Administration and Finance at Codelco. Prior to that, he held various positions at BHP Billiton, including President of Pampa Norte, Vice President of Production for the Base Metals division and CFO for the Base Metals division. Iván also worked for almost 20 years at Shell, in Chile, the United Kingdom, Argentina and the United States. Iván holds a Master’s degree in Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MBA from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile. He has also attended several executive education programmes at Wharton, INSEAD and the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Alfredo Atucha

Mr. Alfredo Atucha is Chief Financial Officer, Vice President - Finance and Administration of the Company. He is an Accountant and economist with over 30 years of financial experience in the mining, metals, energy and FMCG sectors. Previous roles: • 10 years’ service at BHP Billiton as Vice President of Finance for Minera Escondida and Senior Manager of Base Metals Major Projects • Finance and Administration Manager at Chilquinta Energia (part of Sempra Energy and PSG Group) • CFO at Reckitt Benckiser in Spain, Brazil and Chile • Tax Planning and Treasury at British American Tobacco

Hernan Menares

Mr. Hernan Menares is an Vice President - Operations of the Company. He joined the Group in 2008 as Project Development Manager for the Sierra Gorda District, where he was responsible for analysing the business and growth options for the area. He was appointed Vice-President of Operations in 2011. Before joining the Group, Hernán was responsible for leading and managing mine and plant business units and for developing business plans for Codelco Norte, including the Chuquicamata, Radomiro Tomic and South Mine sites. He has also worked in the iron ore business for Compañía Minera del Pacífico and Compañía Minera Huasco S.A. Hernán holds a Civil Mining Engineering degree from the Universidad de Santiago in Chile and a Master’s degree in Science (Mineral Economics) from the University of Technology in Perth, Australia.

Gonzalo Sanchez

Mr. Gonzalo Sanchez is an Vice President - Sales of the Company. He joined Antofagasta Minerals as Deputy Commercial Director in 1996 and has been Vice-President of Sales since 2004. He has 25 years’ experience in marketing and hedging of metals. Gonzalo holds a Civil Engineering degree in Structural Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from the Universidad de Chile.

Ana Rabagliati

Ms. Ana Maria Rabagliati is an Vice President - Human Resources of the Company. Before joining the Group, Ana María was Corporate Human Resources Manager at Masisa, Country Human Resources Vice-President at Citigroup and also worked at the Lafarge Group. Before that, she was Human Resources Manager at the Lubricants Business of Shell Oil Latin America and also worked across several divisions and areas at Shell Chile S.A. Ana María holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Católica de Chile.

Patricio Enei

Mr. Patricio Enei is Vice President - Legal of the Company. He has over 20 years’ experience in mining, including roles at some of the largest international copper companies operating in Chile. Previous roles: • General Counsel at Codelco • Corporate Affairs Manager of Minera Escondida • Senior Lawyer at BHP Billiton in Chile • Chief Legal Counsel at Minera Dona Ines de Collahuasi • Lawyer at the Instituto de Normalizacion Previsional and in private practice.

Andronico Luksic Lederer

Mr. Andronico Luksic Lederer is Vice President of Development of the Company. His Business administrator with broad mining experience in sales, exploration, development and general management. Previous roles: • Corporate Manager at Antofagasta Minerals • Director, Antofagasta Minerals Toronto Office • Various positions at Banco de Chile.

Francisco Veloso

Mr. Francisco Veloso is Vice President - Corporate Affairs and Sustainability of the Company. He has over 20 years’ experience with Antofagasta Minerals, He including oversight of critical phases of development at Los Pelambres. joined the Group in 1993 as a lawyer at Michilla. From 1997 to 2002 he was General Counsel for Los Pelambres. In 2002, he was appointed Vice-President of Legal and Corporate Affairs, and he was acting Vice-President of Human Resources during 2012. Francisco holds a Law degree from Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master’s degree in International Business Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Julian Anderson

Jorge Bande

Mr. Jorge Bande is an Non-Executive Director of Antofagasta plc. He has more than 30 years’ experience in the mining industry as well as considerable experience in the energy and water sectors. He co-founded the Centre for Copper and Mining Studies (“CESCO”), an independent not-for-profit think tank focused on mining policy issues, where he was its first Executive Director from 1984 to 1988. He was Vice President of Development at Codelco from 1990 to 1994 and then became the CEO of AMP Chile, a subsidiary of AMP, one of Australia’s largest institutional investors. He was a director of Codelco from 2006 to 2013. Jorge advised the World Bank as a Consultant between 2012 and 2013 and was a member of the Global Agenda Council for Responsible Minerals Resource Management at the World Economic Forum from 2009 to 2013. He is a professor of the International Post-Graduate Programme in Mineral Economics at the University of Chile and a member of the Experts Committee for Copper Prices for the Chilean Ministry of Finance. He has a Master’s degree in economics from the American University in Washington, DC. He is currently a member of the Advisory Council of The Sentient Group and a director of CESCO, Inversiones Aguas Metropolitanas S.A., Pershimco Resources Inc. and Bupa Chile S.A. He was previously a director of a number of other Chilean and international companies, including Edelnor S.A. and Electroandina S.A. (now E-CL S.A.).

Francisca Castro

Ms. Francisca Castro is Non-Executive Director of the Company. Mrs. Castro has more than 25 years' experience in several industries, including mining, energy, finance and public/private infrastructure projects in the USA and in Chile. Prior to her appointment to Antofagasta's Board, Mrs. Castro spent eight years at Codelco, most recently leading the company's Business Development function. Before joining Codelco she spent 10 years working in various roles in the Chilean Government. Mrs. Castro began her career at the World Bank where she was based in Washington DC for five years. From 2007 to 2015 Mrs. Castro worked at Codelco, where she most recently led the company's Business Development function. Between 1997 and 2007, she worked in various roles within the Chilean Government, including in the Treasury, on a committee responsible for the evaluation of management and corporate governance of companies in the public sector, and in the Ministry for Public Works. She began her career at the World Bank in Washington DC, where she worked from 1991 to 1996. Mrs. Castro has extensive Board experience, having previously been a Director of Sociedad GNL Mejillones S.A., Complejo Portuario Mejillones S.A., Ecometales Limited, SCM El Abra and Inversiones Mineras Acrux SpA. She has also previously served as a Director and Chairman of the audit committees of ENAMI and Polla Chilena de Beneficencia. Mrs. Castro has an economics degree from the University of Chile and post-graduate studies in finance at the World Bank in Washington DC. She is based in Santiago and is a Chilean citizen.

Mr. Andronico Luksic Craig is Non-Executive Director of Antofagasta PLC., Effective April 9, 2013. He is controlled by foundations in which the Luksic family are interested. Brother of Jean-Paul Luksic. Chairman of Quinenco and Chairman or Director of other companies in the Quinenco group, in common with Jean-Paul Luksic and Gonzalo Menendez. Quinenco is also controlled by foundations in which members of the Luksic family are interested. Appointed to the Board 2013 Extensive experience across a range of business sectors throughout Chile, Latin America and Europe. Ramon Jara

Mr. Ramon F. Jara is an Non-Executive Director of Antofagasta PLC. He is a lawyer with wide-ranging legal and commercial experience in Chile. He is a director of several companies including Empresa Nacional del Petróleo (“ENAP”). He is Chairman of the Fundación Minera Los Pelambres and a director of the Fundación Andrónico Luksic A., which are charitable foundations in Chile.

Timothy Baker

Mr. Timothy C. Baker is Non-Executive Independent Director of Antofagasta plc. He is a Geologist with significant mining operational experience across North and South America and Africa which has included managing mining operations in Chile, the United States, Tanzania and Venezuela and geological and operating roles in Kenya and Liberia. Previous roles: • Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Kinross Gold Corporation • General Manager of Placer Dome Chile Current positions: • Chairman of Golden Star Resources • Director of Sherritt International Corporation.

Vivianne Blanlot

Ms. Vivianne Blanlot is an Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company. She is an economist with extensive experience across the energy, mining, water and environmental sectors and has worked in the public and private sector in Chile. She served as Executive Director of the Comisión Nacional de Medio Ambiente (Environmental Agency in Chile) from 1995 to 1997, Undersecretary of Energy (Comisión Nacional de Energía) from 2000 to 2003 and Minister of Defence from 2006 to 2007, among other positions. She holds an Economics degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the American University of Washington, DC. She is a Non-Executive Director of Colbún S.A., an energy company listed on the Santiago stock exchange, and is also a member of the Consejo Para La Transparencia (Transparency Council), the Chilean body responsible for enforcing transparency in the public sector.

Juan Claro

Mr. Juan G. Claro is Non-Executive Independent Director of Antofagasta PLC. He Served on the Board for more than nine years concurrently with the Chairman when he was performing the role of Executive Chairman. He has Extensive industrial experience in Chile, including an active role representing Chilean industrial interests nationally and internationally. Manuel De Sousa-Oliveira

Mr. Manuel Lino Silva De Sousa-Oliveira has been appointed as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of Antofagasta plc, effective 1 September 2016. He is Chartered accountant, chartered management accountant and economist with over 35 years of strategic and operational experience in the mining industry and corporate finance. Previous roles: • Senior executive positions within the Anglo American group, including Executive Director – Corporate Finance and Head of Strategy and Business Development of De Beers S.A.

William Hayes

Mr. William M. Hayes has been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director of Antofagasta PLC, effective 1 September 2016. He has Extensive financial and operational experience in the copper and gold mining industries in Chile, Latin America, North America and South Africa. Previous roles: Senior executive with Placer Dome Inc. Chairman of the Consejo Minero, the industry body representing the largest mining companies operating in Chile. Chairman of the Gold Institute in Washington DC.

Gonzalo Menendez

Mr. Gonzalo S. Menendez is Non-Executive Independent Director of Antofagasta PLC. He is Non-Executive Director of Quinenco and other companies in the Quinenco group in common with Jean-Paul Luksic and Andronico Luksic. Quinenco is also controlled by foundations in which the Luksic family are interested. He is Qualified accountant with extensive experience in commercial and financial businesses across Latin America.
