Bush, Jonathan Jonathan Bush has been Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of athenahealth, Inc. Mr. Bush co-founded athenahealth in 1997. Prior to joining athenahealth, Mr. Bush served as an EMT for the City of New Orleans, was trained as a medic in the U.S. Army, and worked as a management consultant with Booz Allen & Hamilton. Mr. Bush obtained a Bachelor of Arts in the College of Social Studies from Wesleyan University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Adams, Timothy Mr. Timothy M. Adams has been appointed as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of athenahealth, Inc. Mr. Adams' career spans 27 years in the health care and technology services industries. He currently serves in an executive capacity at Constitution Medical Investors, Inc., a health care-focused private investment firm founded in partnership with Warburg Pincus and Keystone Dental, a provider of dental health solutions. In 2008, Mr. Adams served as Chief Financial Officer of Orthofix International NV. Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer of Cytyc Corporation, a women's health company that grew during his three-year tenure from $350 million to $750 million of revenue. Cytyc was sold to Hologic, Inc. for $6.2 billion in 2007. His earlier experiences include Chief Financial Officer positions at Modus Media International Inc. and Geotrust as well as Digex Inc., a pioneer in managed hosting services over the Internet. Mr. Adams also served in finance and operational roles at internet service provider GTE Internetworking / BBN Planet. He worked for seven years in the audit practice at Price Waterhouse and earned a Certified Public Accountant designation. Mr. Adams holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Boston University and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Murray State University.
Robinson, David Mr. David Robinson is Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of athenahealth, Inc. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Robinson served as the Executive Vice President of SunGard Data Systems Inc. (“SunGard”), a global leader in software and processing solutions for financial services, higher education, and the public sector, which position he held from 2002 to 2004. He served as Senior Vice President of SunGard from 2000 to 2002, as a Group CEO of SunGard Investment Systems from 1997 to 2000, and as President of SunGard Investment Systems from 1993 to 1997. Since his retirement in 2004, Mr. Robinson has been primarily involved in consulting for SunGard and serving on the boards of non-profit organizations. Mr. Robinson holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, a Masters in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
Cosinuke, Robert Robert L. Cosinuke has been Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of athenahealth, Inc. Mr. Cosinuke joined athenahealth in December of 2007. Mr. Cosinuke was a co-founder of Digitas, LLC in 1991. Digitas is a leading interactive and database marketing advertising agency and was acquired by Publicis Group SA in February of 2007. From 1991 to 2006, Mr. Cosinuke was employed by Digitas, most recently as President of Digitas, Boston. He also served as President of Global Capabilities, Digitas. From 1984 to 2002, Mr. Hueber served IDX Systems Corporation as Vice President and National Director of Sales and most recently as Vice President of Sales for the Enterprise Solutions Division. King-Shaw, Ruben Ruben J. King-Shaw, Jr. is Lead Director of athenahealth, Inc. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of of the company since 2003 and was named Lead Director in 2007. Mr. King-Shaw, Jr. is the Chairman and CEO of Mansa Equity Partners, Inc., which he founded in 2005. From January 2003 to August 2003, Mr. King-Shaw, Jr. served as Senior Advisor to the Secretary of the Department of the Treasury. Foster, Richard Richard N. Foster has served as a member of the Board of Directors of athenahealth, Inc since 2005. Mr. Foster is the Managing Partner of Millbrook Management Group. Prior to joining Millbrook Management Group in 2004, Mr. Foster served as a Director of McKinsey & Company, Inc. During his 31 year tenure with McKinsey & Company which began in 1973, Mr. Foster was elected principal (1977) and later Senior Partner and Director (1982), a position he maintained for 22 years. Mann, James James L. Mann has served as a member of the Board of Directors of athenahealth, Inc since 2006. Mr. Mann has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of SunGard Data Systems Inc. from 1987 to 2005 and as Director from 1983 to 2005 and currently from 2006. Winkenwerder, William Dr. William Winkenwerder, Jr. has been appointed as Director of athenahealth, Inc. He is currently the Chairman of The Winkenwerder Company, a health care consulting and advisory company based in Alexandria, Virginia. From 2001 to 2007 he was the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs. Before that, he served in leadership positions at Blue Cross of Massachusetts, Prudential Healthcare, and Emory University during the course of 15 years. At the Department of Defense, he was the leader of the Military Health System (MHS) and the principal medical advisor to the Secretary of Defense. The MHS organization of 132,000 personnel cares for 9.2 million people through a national network (TRICARE) of physicians and hospitals including 70 military hospitals worldwide. During his tenure, he led advances in battlefield medicine and the implementation of the electronic health record system (AHLTA). He also brought many innovations and improved business practices to government, improved TRICARE and mental healthcare for soldiers, oversaw medical relief efforts for the Asian tsunami and other disasters and led preparedness efforts for a possible avian flu or biological attack. He is a graduate of Davidson College and the University Of North Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Winkenwerder is also board certified in internal medicine and received his MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
