Name Description

Ian Williams

Mr. Ian James Williams has been Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Alara Resources Ltd since May 10, 2011. Prior to this, he serves as Non-Executive Independent Director of the Company as of November 30, 2010. As Managing Director of Century Zinc Ltd, he was responsible for planning and bringing on stream the Century lead/ zinc mine in north western Queensland. Mr. Williams is currently Director of a private structural fabrication company and was, until July 2011, Chairman of the Port Hedland Port Authority. His diverse experience includes executive management of open cut and underground mining operations, brownfield expansions and new mining projects. He was responsible for the establishment of two iron ore mines and associated infrastructure for Hamersley Iron. He has also assisted the West Australian Government in the facilitation of a new port and rail infrastructure project in the State’s Mid-West Region. He was awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in June 2010 for distinguished service to the Indigenous community of Western Australia and Queensland through the establishment of training programmes providing sustainable employment in the mining industry, the promotion of social responsibility and as a supporter of business development initiatives. He also serves as Non-Executive Director of Bougainville Copper Limited (ASX Code: BOC) (since 8 May 2008). Previously he served Brandrill Limited (1 August 2006 to 16 December 2009) (merged with Ausdrill Limited on 16 December 2009 and delisted). Mr. Williams holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electricity, and is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia.

Mr. Ian Edward Gregory has been appointed as Joint Company Secretary of Alara Resources Ltd., with effect from 30 June 2015. Mr. Gregory was appointed as Alternate Director to Justin Richard on 22 June 2015 and his experience and qualifications were set out in Alara’s ‘Company Update’ ASX market announcement released on 26 June 2015. Mr Gregory is also currently a Non-Executive Director and Company Secretary of Phoenix Gold Limited (ASX:PXG) and consults on company secretarial matters to a number of listed and unlisted companies.

Poh Hong Ho

Mr. Ho (Victor) Poh Hong is Joint Company Secretary of Alara Resources Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and LLB from the University of Western Australia. Mr. Ho has nine years of experience in the taxation profession with the Australian Tax Office and in a company specializing in tax law. He also has experience in the structuring and execution of commercial and corporate transactions, capital raisings, capital management matters, public company administration, corporations law and stock exchange compliance and shareholder relations. He is currently Executive Director and Company Secretary of Orion Equities Limited (Secretary since August 2, 2000 and Director since July 4,2003), and Company Secretary of Bentley Capital Limited (since February 5, 2004) and Queste Communications Ltd (since August 30, 2000). Mr. Ho formerly served Strike Resources Limited secretary between March 9, 2000 and April 30, 2010 and director between October 12, 2000 and September 25, 2009), Scarborough Equities Limited and Sofcom Limited (secretary between November 29, 2004 and March 13, 2009).

James Phipps

Mr. James David Phipps is Non-Executive Director of the Company. He holds B.A. (Philosophy), J.D. (Law) Mr. Phipps currently serves as Co-Chairman of Sheffield United Football Club, the first "United" and the first association football club worldwide and a founding member of the English Premiere League. Mr Phipps co-chairs Blades Leisure Limited, which holds SUFC and other operating companies, including security and event management companies. He chairs Shout TV, Inc., a Lindon, Utah, based sports entertainment business and serves as principal advisor to HRH Prince Abdullah bin Mosaad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, providing strategic advice relative to a worldwide portfolio of businesses, properties and investments. He sits on the board of the publicly listed Saudi Paper Manufacturing Company (Tadawul: 2300), the leading manufacturer of tissue paper products in the Gulf Region. Mr Phipps has experience in corporate turnarounds and has served as chief executive or general manager at a number of companies in a turn-around capacity. He brings experience to the board in the context of Alara's Middle East and G.C.C. endeavours.
