Name Description

J. Smith

 Mr. J.R. Smith serves as Chief Executive Officer and Member of Management Team of AVG Tchnologies NV. Prior to joining the Company in 2007, he was founder and Chief Executive Officer of the United Kingdom's Dot Mobile Limited, a Mobile Virtual Network Operator. Mr. Smith was also founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dutch firm TSG-Telecomm Solutions Group. Prior to this, he spent 6 years at T-Mobile United States in a variety of positions, including PCS Development Manager and National Acquisition Manager.

John Little

 Mr. John Little serves as Chief Financial Officer and Member of Management Team of AVG Technologies NV since 2008. His experience began in audit for international financial services firms for Deloitte & Touche based in the City of London and Chicago. Subsequent to this, John had leadership roles in Group Financial Control and Reporting for Cazenove & Co (now a part of JP Morgan) and Royal Bank of Scotland Treasury before moving to become Chief Financial Officer of Wood & Company. He subsequently was Chief Financial Officer and Head of Investment for MiNC Property Enterprises. Mr. Little is currently a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW). He is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and has a degree in history from Oxford University.

John Giamatteo

 Mr. John J. Giamatteo serves as Chief Operating Officer and Member of Management Team of AVG Technologies NV since October 2011. Prior to joining the Company he worked as Chief Operating Officer in Solera Holdings. Before that, Mr. Giamatteo was Chief Operating Officer of RealNetworks, where he was responsible for business planning, operational processes, technology investments and the overall global organization. He also spent many years with Nortel Networks in a variety of positions including President and Chief Executive Officer of the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Giamatteo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and MBA, both from St. John's University in New York. As part of his undergraduate studies John spent half a year at the University of Budapest. He also attended a post graduate leadership program at Columbia University.

Mike Foreman

 Mr. Mike Foreman serves as Senior Vice-President Global Sales and Member of Management Team of AVG Technologies NV (AVG). Since he started his career with AVG in 2007, Mr. Foreman has taken on a number of roles, including being Managing Director for three years. His association with AVG began in 2002 when he was running his own business as AVG's United Kingdom Partner. After that he has joined the team as Managing Director of AVG UK. Prior to his work with the Company, Mike was Managing Partner at F1 Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Hons) from Coventry University and his specialties include Operations, Strategic Planning, Business Management, Customer Service and Technical Support.

James Hart

 Mr. James Hart serves as Senior Vice President Global Marketing and Member of the Management Team of AVG Technologies NV (AVG). His duties involve all global marketing activities including Brand, Social Media, Customer Insights, Pricing, Propositions and Channel Marketing. Prior to joining AVG, he worked at Research in Motion as Senior Marketing Director, EMEA. Mr. Hart spent time at T-Mobile as VP of Business Marketing and as the General Manager and Business Partner for mmO2, plc. He holds a Master of Arts degree in International Marketing from Brunel University and a Bachelor of Arts degree (Hons) Business Studies (First Class) from Birmingham City University. Don Maclennan

 Mr. Don Maclennan serves as Senior Vice President Product Management and Member of Management Team of AVG Technologies NV. Prior to joining the Company, he was the Senior Director of Product Management for RSA. At SAP, Mr. Maclennan held the position of Director, SRM Solutions Marketing. He has over 23 years of experience in IT security and business software solutions with vendors such as RSA the Security Division of EMC, SAP, Calico Commerce, Pure Atria and CA. Mr. Maclennan holds a Bachelor's degree in economics from Acadia University in Canada.

Yuval Ben-Itzhak

 Mr. Yuval Ben-Itzhak serves as Chief Technology Officer and Member of Management Team of AVG Technologies NV. Prior to joining the Company, he was Chief Technology Officer at security company Finjan. Before that, Mr. Ben-Itzhak was founder and Chief Technology Officer of KaVaDo Inc. Yuval was also Chief Technology Officer at Ness Technologies. Yuval received a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Engineering, cum laude from Ben-Gurion University in Israel.

Ricardo Adame

 Mr. Ricardo Adame serves as Corporate Vice-President Global Public Relations and Member of the Management Team of AVG Technologies NV (AVG). Prior to joining AVG, he worked at Microsoft for 15 years within the Corporate Communications Group. He joined Microsoft in 1996 to build the Public Relations and Public Affairs practice in Mexico. From 1996 to 1999, he was also the President of the Public Relations and Government Affairs Committee of the Mexican IT Industry Association (AMITI). In 1999, Mr. Adame joined the Corporate Communications Group in Microsoft Headquarters based in Redmond, Washington and was responsible for Corporate Communications, Crisis Management and Executive visits for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and the Latin American region. Before joining AVG, he was responsible for the development and implementation of Corporate Communications, Digital Communications and CSR initiatives across Central and Eastern Europe. Among other activities, Mr. Adame's role included Communications Strategy, Media Relations, Analysts Relations, Crisis Management, Media Training and Executives Outreach Program. Before joining Microsoft, Ricardo worked in Mexico for Edelman Public Relations and Burson-Marsteller. He received a bachelor's degree in International Relations and a Master’s degree in Political Sciences.

Francois Christophe

 Mr. Christophe Francois serves as General Counsel of AVG Technologies NV (AVG) since joining the Company in 2009. He is also Corporate Secretary of AVG. Mr. Francois is Member of AVG's Executive Management Team. Prior to joining the Company, he worked for CA in Belgium and The Netherlands, where he spent four years and left as Senior Counsel. Before that, Mr. Francois was Legal Counsel for Oracle where he was responsible for general legal support of the Belgian, Luxembourg and pan-European Oracle operations, including specific support to Oracle's public affairs group. He is a Member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and received Masters in Law degree from the Catholic University of Leuven.

Siobhan MacDermott

 Ms. Siobhan M. MacDermott serves as Investor Relations and Policy Officer and Member of Management Team of AVG Technologies NV. She previously worked at McAfee and was a President of her own strategic consultancy, Takatech. Prior to that, she worked in-house and as an external consultant to companies including Oracle, HP, RSA Security, Betrusted, and Sprint PCS. In addition to her role in the policy arena at the Company, Ms. MacDermott also runs AVG's global investor relations team. Ms. MacDermott has authored several publications, including a Children's book on Internet Safety. She has an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and has been a Board member of several United States and international institutions.

David Ferguson

 Mr. David Ferguson serves as Chief Web & Customer Officer and Member of Management Team of AVG Technologies NV (AVG). He started with the Company as Chief Marketing Officer in 2008. He then moved to the position of President & General Manager APAC and General Manager China where he built local teams, localized products and established companies in Hong Kong and Beijing. Prior to joining AVG, he was Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer for DOT Mobile and spent selling Bulldog Communications Ltd (acquired by Cable & Wireless Plc), first as Commercial Director & Head of Marketing then as Marketing Director & Head of Online Business. Mr. Ferguson gained experience in a variety of positions with Telewest Communications plc. He joined Telewest from Ernst & Young, where he was a Managing Consultant in their Management Consultancy Services Practice. Mr. Ferguson received Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Philosophy from University College London, an MBA and a Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma.

Shaul Levi

 Mr. Shaul Levi serves as Chief Scientist and Member of Management Team of AVG Technologies NV (AVG). Before joining AVG in 2011, he led Sightix Technologies. Mr. Levi was founder and Chief Technology Officer of Gilian Technologies. Mr. Levi is currently a regular lecturer on Internet protocols and JAVA programming at the Tel Aviv University College. He graduated cum laude from the Technion Institute of technology in Israel.
