Name Description

Richard Brissenden

Mr. Richard William Brissenden serves as an Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Banro Corp., effective from December 31, 2015. Mr. Brissenden is a mining executive and corporate director with over thirty years of experience in the resource sector. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and Certified Director (ICD.D), he serves on the board and audit committee for several mining companies, including McEwen Mining, Ryan Gold Corp., and Corona Gold Corporation. As chairman and president of Excellon Resources Inc. from 1991 to 2008, he led the company through the discovery, development and production stages of a high-grade silver/lead/zinc mine in Northeastern Mexico. He has also been a director of HudBay Minerals Inc., as well as president of a gold producer in Alaska, and president of a mine finance house with interests in over fifty junior mining companies. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and the Institute of Corporate Directors.

John Clarke

Dr. John A. Clarke, Ph.D., serves as a President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Banro Corp. He has been appointed as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, effective March 6, 2013. From 1997 to August 2008, Mr. Clarke was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Nevsun Resources Ltd., a mining company which is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the NYSE MKT. He was Vice Chairman of Nevsun Resources Ltd. from August 2008 to September 2009. From 1988 to 1993, Mr. Clarke was engaged as a General Manager at Ashanti Goldfields Company Limited ("Ashanti") in a range of roles, including strategic planning, mine production management and the technical/administrative support of mining operations. Mr. Clarke holds a Masters of Business Administration from Middlesex Polytechnic (now Middlesex University). He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from North London Polytechnic (now London Metropolitan University) which included courses in accounting principles, standards and practices.

Kevin Jennings

Mr. Kevin Jennings serves as a Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of the Company effective September 1, 2014. Kevin has over 20 years' experience in corporate finance, corporate development, strategy and senior management positions with global mining companies. Most recently, Kevin served as CFO of SUN Gold. Prior to that, he led the successful IPO of African Barrick Gold where he held the role of CFO, and over his career has managed mining international acquisitions, divestitures and project investments worth more than US$10 billion. Kevin has also served in senior corporate roles with Barrick Gold (Vice President, Corporate Development), Xstrata Nickel, (Director, Business Optimization), Falconbridge (Director, Business Development), and American Racing Equipment. Kevin is a Chartered Accountant with a BA in Administrative studies (Honours Accounting) from York University and a BA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.

Mr. Arnold T. Kondrat serves as a Executive Vice President of Banro Corp. He has been Executive Vice President of the Company; Chief Executive Officer and President of Loncor Resources Inc. (a gold exploration company) from February 2015 to present and Executive Vice President of Loncor Resources Inc. prior to February 2015; President of Sterling Portfolio Securities Inc. (a private venture capital firm); Chief Executive Officer and President of Gentor Resources Inc. (a mineral exploration company) from February 2014 to present and Executive Vice President of Gentor Resources Inc. prior to February 2014; Chief Executive Officer of Delrand Resources Limited (a mineral exploration company) from May 2014 to present and consultant to Delrand Resources Limited from February 2008 to May 2014.

Donat Madilo

Mr. Donat K. (Donald) Madilo serves as a Senior Vice President - Commercial and DRC Affairs of Banro Corp. He served as the Treasurer of the Company prior to September 2007; Treasurer of BRC DiamondCore Ltd. (a diamond exploration company); Chief Financial Officer of Loncor Resources Inc. (a gold exploration company) from November 2008 to present; prior to November 2008, Treasurer of Nevada Bob's International Inc. (prior to November 2008, Loncor Resources Inc. was named Nevada Bob's International Inc. and was an international licensor); Chief Financial Officer of Gentor Resources, Inc. (a mineral exploration company) from March 2010 to present.

Geoffrey Farr

Mr. Geoffrey G. Farr serves as a Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary of Banro Corp. He is the Vice President, General Counsel of the Company since February 2011; in-house legal counsel to Loncor Resources Inc. (a gold exploration company) from February 2011 to present; consultant to Gentor Resources, Inc. (a mineral exploration company) from February 2011 to present; Corporate Secretary of BRC DiamondCore Ltd. (a diamond exploration company); partner of Macleod Dixon LLP (a law firm)(3) until February 2011.

Desire Sangara

Mr. Desire Sangara serves as a Vice President - Government Relations of Banro Corp. He has a Master degree in Management from E.D.C. (Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris) and has over 17 years professional experience in D.R.Congo's exploration and mining sector. He previously held senior positions with the Belgium-Luxemburg mining company, Mindev, and with Ashanti Goldfields, where for seven years he was the company's country manager. He was Administrative Manager for the Company from September 2004 to September 2007. Prior to September 2004, he was Country Manager for Ashanti Goldfields Company Limited (a gold mining company).

Daniel Bansah

Mr. Daniel K. (Dan) Bansah serves as a Head of Projects and Operations of Banro Corp. Prior to that, he was Mineral Resources Manager of the Company between June 2004 and September 2007. He has over 20 years experience in mineral resource and ore reserve estimation. He holds Master of Science degree in Mineral Exploration with Distinction from the University of Leicester and is a Member and a Chartered Professional of Aus.I.M.M. Prior to joining the Company in 2004, he was Group Mineral Resource Manager with Ashanti Goldfields, with responsibilities for the coordination, auditing and compilation of Ashanti's Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves in Africa.

Maurice Colson

Mr. Maurice John Colson serves as an Independent Director of Banro Corporation. Mr. Colson has worked in the investment industry for more than 37 years and was for many years managing director for a major Canadian investment dealer in the United Kingdom. He is actively involved in providing strategic counsel and assistance with financing to emerging private and public companies in Canada and to Canadian companies operating in China, Africa and South America. He is a director, and a member of the audit committee, of several Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange listed companies, and is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of the TSX Venture-listed company, Lithium One Resources. Mr. Colson holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from McGill University in Montreal.

Peter Cowley

Mr. Peter Nigel Cowley serves as an Independent Director of Banro Corp. He was Retired gold mining company executive (after 45 years’ experience in the minerals industry). Currently provides consulting services to gold companies and acts as a non-executive director of Amara Mining plc and Cluff Natural Resources plc. Most recently he was Chief Executive Officer and President of Loncor Resources Inc. (a gold exploration company) from November 2009 to February 2015.

Mick Oliver

Mr. Mick C. Oliver serves as an Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Oliver has 38 years' experience in the mining sector. From 1996 to 2014, he held senior positions with CIBC World Markets Inc., becoming in 2011 Managing Director (Head of Mining Team) in the global mining investment banking group. Prior to this, he worked for 10 years with HSBC covering natural resources, where, from 1990 to 1996, he was a Partner, Corporate Finance. Mr. Oliver is currently Managing Director of Natural Resources Global Capital Partners, an independent advisory business offering financial and technical advice to the global natural resource sector. Mr. Oliver began his career as a mining engineer, with eight years of managerial experience in precious and base metals in Zambia and South Africa. He graduated from Nottingham University in 1976 with a joint mining/geology and degree from the University of the Witswatersrand, South Africa in 1985 with an MBA. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Mining & Metallurgy and a Chartered Engineer, and holds a Mine Manager's Certificate from South Africa.

Derrick Weyrauch

Mr. Derrick H. Weyrauch serves as an Independent Director of Banro Corp. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant ("CPA") and a Chartered Accountant ("CA") with over 25 years of experience that includes corporate financial management, financings, strategic planning and merger & acquisition transactions. Currently, he serves on the Audit, Health & Safety Committee and Chairs two Special Committees for the board of directors of Jaguar Mining Inc. Prior to its sale in 2013, Mr. Weyrauch served as the Chief Financial Officer of Andina Minerals Inc. Mr. Weyrauch earned his CA designation in 1990 while working at KMPG and he is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, the Institute of Corporate Directors and he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
