Charles Holliday |
Mr. Charles O. Holliday, Jr., is Independent Chairman of the Board of Bank of America Corporation. Mr. Holliday served as Chief Executive Officer of E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Company (DuPont), a global chemical and life sciences company, from January 1998 until December 2008 and as Chairman from January 1999 to December 2009. He joined DuPont in 1970 and held various positions during his tenure at the company. Mr. Holliday serves as: Chairman of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development; Chair of the Executive Committee of Sustainable Energy for All, an initiative sponsored by the United Nations and The World Bank to bring energy access, efficiency and renewable resources to the world; and Chairman of the National Academy of Engineering.
